At drozana you can buy the holoemitters for your self to change your appearance But they only last an hour or so but it gives you that flicker or it used to anyway

Also isn’t there an command like “/unstuck “ that brings up a warning and will take you somewhere?

If you are stuck there or somewhere you can select a mission and pay the ec to go there directly then your in sector space it might help you a bit

If Force verify files didn’t work try uninstalling game and do a reinstall make sure the files are really gone you will know if they are because you will have about 19 gig to down load

Yup that will happen to me when I have slow connection it refines but I’ll get both Messages I think it’s always been like this at least for 5 years or so

Exit the game try agen if that fails Restart your pc and try again if that fails Check your internet if that’s ok Force verify the game files These are all the fast easy things after these it takes longer

I just had a thought maybe you could set up a steam account and try it through steam I don’t know if it is different but I’ve seen posts saying some small things are different and if it’s an overlay problem we’ll it a different overlay anyway something different to try if you want. And steam has its own verify game files…

You know what you could do is just not go esd ,you can get to all the services on deep space 9 I think ? And if you want to start a new toon it would have to be a Klingon faction and just keep trying once a week after the patch and that way you can keep playing and having fun until it sorts it’s self out or you find out…

You could try at the log in screen in options select force verify files it will take a few minutes if that doesn’t fix it you could do an uninstall and then reinstall,some one could have other ideas hope it helps you

I've had this happen to me a few times what works for me is I go to options on the log in screen and change my patching proxy save that then patch game then put the settings back hope this helps
