I'm pretty sure players who don't have many characters or many ships have few issues with the Loadout System. And on some of my characters I don't have too much trouble. But still this system is such a mess. I have to agree with the opening Post. Just do away with it... Doing so won't hurt those who don't have issues and…
*Deep sigh* I am having the same issue with TWO Copies of the Kelvin Timeline Intel Dreadnought. With most of my ships I can just delete them and upgrade them again. But I bought these ships on the exchange. So I can't get them back if I delete them. That's why I stored them in Dry Dock, to begin with...
I am able to equip this console by using clicking on a Loadout I had originally saved. But everytime I 'dock' it unequips. Then when I enter a TFO or Patrol I have to begin my clicking on that loadout again. This is extremely annoying!! (I will refrain from expressing myself more concisely as that would be inappropriate...)
I just noticed that the address for the ARC forums is 'Not secure'... If the same thing applies to the STO servers then they might be an easy target to hack. At the very least I don't want to stay because I don't trust Cryptic anymore.
I was sitting just outside of Dyson Joint Command when my game crashed today. Now I can't log in with any character. The game repeatedly crashes when I try to load any of my characters. OK after many tries I finally made it back into the game on a Klingon character. But as soon as I tried to log to a character that was…
Like I said, I appreciate them updating details like this, and I don't mind waiting for it to happen. Then Donny Versiga says, on this page >> Vengeance Update, that we could check it out "Now". He's a 'staff ship artist', and I like what he's doing, but he's obviously not in the loop about when this will go live. A detail…
I wish I had some parses of my recent gameplay. I typically always run Starbase One Defense and Kemocite doesn't seem to work that well. It works slightly better in Japori and Argala. So is this because the newer enemies (technically they're Older) are more resistant?
Altran3301 you're just a Troll. Most of us are just wondering 'When' the servers might be back up. You're the only one trying to create some drama in this thread.
OK so I switched over to Google DNS (since I thought it might be related to Comcast's DNS settings). That did not do a thing. So this clearly is NOT something I can fix on my end!
Well I was stuck at 21% for nearly 30 minutes. Then, just about the time I found text stating that Lifetime Subs were supposed to get 'Priority Login', it began to progress very slowly. So *deep sigh* I guess my reason for complaint is now null and void. Sorry for this interruption of your regularly scheduled…
This does not happen when I leave New Romulus. But it happens every time I leave the Flotilla. And its Totally stupid. And completely typical for this iteration of Cryptic Studios. Who only barely know how to program it seems...
Really!?! Is that what's been happening? What I've been experiencing is weird rubber-banding... As in SEVERE herky jerky stuff. That makes the game unplayable. ...NO that must not be what they are talking about! It couldn't possibly be what they are talking about. In any case, when are the servers going to be up? Its been…
Well if you would all just stop trying to repeatedly log in over, and over, and over, and over... Then it wouldn't look like a Denial of Service 'Attack' to them. Seriously do you think they're even half way intelligent? :/ Sorry I guess I shouldn't ask such an obvious question.
I cannot perform the checks you mentioned because I cannot log in... Someone else is apparently very Angry with either Cryptic, or Perfect World. But I did read the Reddit Post by STOCrypticRock. And I'm still not happy. I feel cheated. But I can think of a solution... What I would propose is a modestly priced "upgrade…
I have two computers. On one STO is installed under Steam and on the other its installed under ARC. When I log in with the Steam system I get no message about said "attacks". And I can play fine. But when I log in with ARC, or try to log in... and I don't always succeed, I have nothing but trouble. Not sure why there is a…
Oh and when you've spent those "...Hundreds of Dollars..." to get said ship... They (Perfect World / Cryptic) will turn around and nerf it on you. In an attempt to force you to spend another couple hundred dollars on something else. You cannot trust these people! They are so greedy. And they wonder why people hate their…
I just crafted 1 of each type of Warp Cores. They all ended up "[A->S]". So that's why I came here and made that post. As I said I would be satisfied with a [W->A] or [W->E] Warp Core. But I can't make one and I can't the upgrade old ones that I've had laying around. But that's not really the point here... I spent a great…
Oh! Now they are experiencing "attacks on our servers...". I wonder why...? :p Seriously! Pulling stunts like this is bound to make players REALLY pissed. And I don't believe that they can't figure out how to work with the game's database. This is just a ploy to force players to try and get thier Warp Cores to Epic.
What? That's doesn't explain why ALL Warp Cores have to have "[A=>S]". Why can't they have W->E or W->A? Besides that's just a messed up EXCUSE!! I simply cannot afford to try and get even ONE Warp Core to Epic for each of my characters. And that's NOT the Point!! The Point is that I would have NEVER bought these warp…
