I have a BoP pilot and in all honesty, there really isn't that much "skill" involved. All you do is blow all your cooldowns and unload on 1 target, maybe pick off a 2nd one that is half dead if it's nearby. Then you cloak up and wait for your cooldowns to clear up again. There really is no "skill" or "learn to adapt"…
First time I went and helped take the zone (from zone reset to Vrex) I was quite surprised that in the first 1h of that session I made hardly any profit at all and then suddenly in the frame of 5 minutes i made all the profit at the end. Like others have said, the problem isn't the taggers, the problem is that capturing…
You're right that if you like science ships, the JHDC probably isn't for you. It's a very different type of flying. If you're already used to broadsiding and you like the big cruiser play style, you'll like the JHDC. I feel it plays like a big more offensively minded cruiser. :P Novascotius, if you don't have the resources…
I like to play quite offensive. I find that it plays very much like a traditional cruiser though. I would say you probably put out the same damage as a tactical captain but because of your engineering abilities you're just much more resilient. Normally power suffers when using a lot of beams, which means damage goes down.…
I run the JMDC with my engineer as well. I don't have access to a high-end fleet and don't have the Dilithium to purchase that much gear, but I can tell you what I use nevertheless. My setup is just a lot more economical. :D I have pretty much exactly the same BOFF layout (except I use a Science team instead of a Tractor…
Sounds good. I'm mainly looking for some people to do the STFs with, maybe some PvP, complete some episode missions I missed, ... I mainly play a 50 Fed Engineer, I'll see if I can poke someone ingame for more info.
If you don't mind me asking, there's quite a few posts now. What is the general activity like during EU time zones? I'm a returning player and I'm interested in perhaps running a bit of stuff with some fleet mates. I do like an active, alive fleet though.
