  • Try checking the names of the costumes on your bridge officers. If more than one costume has the same name, I think the game gets confused as to which ones to display. You can easily get into that situation if you load outfits from saved files, as this changes the costume name to the file name.
  • If I remember correctly, the last part of the Cryptic mission "Blood of the Empire" takes place on the old Qo'noS map. Granted, bits of it are on fire, and it's overrun with Fek'ihri, but you can certainly wander around and see the sights to your heart's content after the fighting is done.
  • I know the STO Academy website has some a utility that allows you to change some data in a costume screenshot file -- faction, gender, species, etc. So it's possible to edit costume image files without rendering them unusable. I don't know how, but it can be done.
  • Thank you for this tool! I've only written two missions, but I appreciate the effort. I see that the export file contains the entire mission, not just dialog. Is there another tool that can extract costumes? I can see there's data for them in the file.
  • Same here. Tried twice today.
  • Is the Verdant Sword immediately bound to the character that claims the bundle from the C-Store, or does it come in a box that can be transferred to a different character?
  • Thanks for giving us two days to claim this, since there is a level restriction on claiming it. I had to level up one of my Xbox characters in order to claim it. Granted, it was only a few levels, but still appreciated.
  • From my experience, she is also able to wear the DSC Terran Empire uniform. Also, the helmet is removable, and the head is customizable to a point. There's a choice of three different cybernetic implants available. Frankly, the Tailor is a bit broken after the most recent patch to "fix" the T'kuvma Armor issues. Once the…
  • The first two appearances of Cardassians in TNG ("The Wounded", "Ensign Ro") had them wearing a more padded-armor-looking uniform. Memory Alpha calls this a "Type C" uniform. I'd like to see this in game as cosmetic armor. The weird-looking helmet thing would be a plus, although I probably wouldn't use it.
  • I have my own interpretation of the Starfleet Uniform Code. It doesn't stray very far from the published version, but I've filled in some details. I don't think it's set in stone that all flag officers or commanding officers wear red. I know there was at least one admiral on DS9 that wore yellow, and in the TOS era,…
  • I'm not sure what you mean. I'm taking it down now.
  • Mission Title: Unseen Enemies Your @Handle: @bberge Faction: Starfleet Level Requirement: 46+ Mission Summary: The Founders have infiltrated the True Way. You must go undercover to try to discover their plans. Mission begins at Deep Space Nine. Dock at the station or beam down, then report to the Security Office. This…
  • I'd like to request a banner please. My mission "Unseen Enemies" (by @bberge) is close to completion. The mission for Federation should be ready very soon -- I'll post in the contest thread when it's up. I'm planning on a KDF version (just some cosmetic changes) shortly thereafter. I don't have a cool screenshot to post --…
  • Rather than having the Bonus Rewards be random, how about having them escalate on subsequent runs? In other words, the first Random TFO of the day rewards a Common bonus, the next Uncommon, and so forth. This should encourage people to keep choosing random TFOs. Have the Bonus escalation reset on the standard 20-hour…
  • Thanks for the write-up! I think I may put the mission back up in its current form, so players can see it the way it is now. It frankly hadn't occurred to me that the Orville references would be so off-putting. In my mind, it was just a ready-made Star Trek-like TV show that players might be familiar with. I see your point…
  • Mission is down for rework.
  • I had a flash of inspiration, and finally figured out why I was crashing. My fleet uses TeamSpeak 3, which has an overlay program called Overwolf. Overwolf was causing the crash. I've had issues with Overwolf before. I never use the thing, so I forgot it was running at startup. Fixed that, now I can run Tribble. :)
  • Tsunkatse gloves? My liberated Borg "Six" approves. :)
  • The "Terran Empire Odyssey Outfit" box includes several mirror Sierra and Antares tops, in addition to the Odyssey. No clue why they're not in the preview. As a side note, there's a bug in the female Odyssey Sleeveless top on female Federation Klingons. Leaves them with no arms or torso, which makes one of my captains…
  • The tailor is in the west vendor room. I don't think he's hidden if the project is not done, just not active. I'm not 100% sure, he's unlocked at my fleet.
  • I found a free Star Trek Discovery Captain's Uniform for your Xbox Avatar in the Xbox Marketplace. :)
  • It was taken down in March. It's supposed to be replaced with an improved system at some point. No word on what that is yet, or when it will be back. It's still active on Xbox One.
  • I'd like to offer a suggestion for future sales of this type. It would be nice to see sales include associated services. Costume sales could include costume slots, ship sales could include ship and drydock slots, personnel sales could include bridge officer slots, and duty officer sales could include duty officer slots.…
  • I'd like a unique Kelpian bridge officer (ideally the reward for a Discovery-themed mission). S/he should have a unique trait -- something like "Acute Senses", but more ... Kelpian? When the trait fires, s/he would have a special "threat ganglia" animation. :) Oh, and a Tardigrade non-combat pet (preferrably party-grade).
  • Thanks for the reply! I did some additional research myself, and came to the same conclusion. I'd be happier with that if I had some way of turning off the NPC group when it reached point B, or substituting them with stationary NPCs at that point. Is there some clever way of doing that? So far, I think all the triggers…
  • Point taken. Just trying to point out that getting extra vouchers isn't a total waste, you can do something useful with them.
  • You can turn those vouchers in (40 per day) for marks of your choice while the event is running.
  • Bony eyebrows for Andorians, as seen in Discovery. Basically just a scaled-down version of the Lissepian eyebrows we already have for aliengen characters. Other than the eyebrows, I think they're pretty much the same as we've seen before. Also tusks for Tellarites, which I would assume would be a lot more work.
  • I'd like to see an update for the kilt, with more color slots. It currently has just one, which is fine for the Scott tartan seen on the show, but makes it impossible to accurately depict other clan tartans. I'd also love to see the shoulder plaid Scotty wears with it, with matching color slots. Edit: I was going to link…
