I haven't tried it out yet, but there is one thing that I bemoan, and that's the fact that I cannot rename it "Kayshon, When he Became a Puppet" because there's not enough characters available in the naming bar.
Alas the devs stopped giving us new bridges altogether... Why do you think every new event ship is coming with the same ugly generic bridge that looks like it was cobbled together in 5 minutes from random in-game assets?
Is it unreasonable to hope there will be a aesthetically-coherent bridge for that ship, instead of the extremely ugly, 'default' one for non-aligned ships?
Any interest I might have initially had for these new consoles was instantly reduced to zero upon discovering they were locked behind Elite content. Another rather poor move from Cryptic...
That would be the official explanation, indeed... In truth, though? Considering there are so many uniforms out there that are cross-factions, I don't get why the devs were never able to give those diplomatic BOFFs access to proper Starfleet uniforms to start with.
I agree, canon aliens need more love. Nowadays we can create aliengen Remans and Hierarchy characters, but there are still canon species that cannot quite be reproduced via the tailor. - Vaadwaur - Na'Kuhl - Voth - Malon ... to name but a few.
Ditto. This bug is getting rather ridiculous at that point, and certainly not a first good impression for a new player that would log into the game for the first time.
Yeah, YET another Kit Module, while this could have been made into an item instead, so BOFFs could use it *sighs* Don't get me wrong, having a Voth Exo-suit is awesome, but come on... We're drowning under Kit Modules already and there's only so many our Captain can use at a given time ! Now I'm no programmer, so I may not…
I too miss the Exploration Clusters, and even after almost four years, I still miss the Foundry deeply. I don't care that it was clunky, limited and tedious to use. Some of my best STO memories are of playing original player-created Foundry content, made by Star Trek fans who knew their stuff, and graced us with thoughtful…
Damn, these things don't despawn anymore? I mean, let's be fair, we tend to get used to oversights in STO after a while, but this kind of graphical pollution could become a real problem on low-tier comps...
I actually looted the Sarcophagus from my first Discovery Lockbox, and mind you, I was actually very happy to get that "Ugly as F" ship, as you placed it. Tastes and colors, my good man...
The same applies to Nausicaans and Letheans. Just because we never saw female individuals of these species in the canon so far doesn't mean they don't exist. After all, Reman females weren't a thing either before Cryptic decided to make them a real thing.
I just noticed this myself, and all i can say is that it is inconsistent with how event rewards are normally treated. As far as I can remember, they were always account-wide unlocks, and using the Buyout option would make them available for every character on your account. I honestly don't care, either way, considering the…
Try and run the Feast event once again, either Bug Hunt or Swarm, even though it says it is now handing only Dilithium rewards. I got the 49 missing progress points handed to me after running it, and could claim the campaign final prize.
Addendum to my last post : after running the Feast event once more today, the missing 49 progress points for the campaign were correctly added to my progress bar, and I was able to claim the final prize. So, thank you for fixing this. You can rest assured, I will always let it known when i'm not okay with something, but I…
I do apologize if this was forbidden, my bad for not remembering it. I won't do it again. Thank you for addressing our concern. At the same time, however, I do hope a solution will be found to give us those missing progress points and give us access to the campaign's final reward. Please, understand that going through a…
(Quoted text with private correspondence removed. - BMR) I have replied to the ticket to ask for some clarification, and I do hope that i misunderstood, and that I'm still going to get some daily progress towards campaign completion by running the TFO tomorrow after the fix... But I can't be sure.
(Private correspondence removed. - BMR) This is the answer I got a moment ago... It would appear those of us who used the Buyout option are not going to get any more progress... Feel free to correct me if I'm understanding it wrong, but it seems this year's campaign is screwed for us.
