  • Cheers Ladies and Gents for a really good evening. Was a pleasure meeting you all and discussing various things re STO. Was interesting to hear other peoples take on F2P and LofR. All in an enjoyable evening with decent food and drinks. Again Cheers all. @arsenalrich
  • Bump. Surely a group as diverse as this should be able to arrange to meet up somewhere for a drink and a chin wag? Here's hoping. :)
  • Woo Hoo. Can do the London one as my free weekend and will have been paid! Covent Garden is usually a good place to meet (PorterHouse, Maple Leaf etc) with a number of large pubs able to accomodate crowds. On the Thames itself is Tattershall Castle (pub/boat) that is popular and spacious or on Holborn is a very large…
  • I find it strange that on Tribble, you cant buy ships with Zen you have over there. I wanted to try out both the Fleet Assault and normal Assault cruisers before buying either on Holodeck as pretty cheesed off with Cruisers atm but nope, no luck. Is there a reason for this?
  • Gotta agree with the chap above. I have saved enough Zen through trading in unused Dilithium and have been eagerly awaiting a sale on the ships. I have no desire to spend more money on a dumbed down version of what was once a really good game. I still enjoy playing but no longer feel the need to pay monthly for x amount of…
  • Gents, thank you all for your responses. Really appreciate you sharing your wisdom. And with that am off to purchase the 'Regent'. Happy gaming all. :)
  • Thank you for posting the link to the vid. My partner and I attended the Saturday and Sunday and had a really great time. Some fantastic costumes worn by some very brave people and we enjoyed the Shatner and Bakula talks.
  • Gents, great looking ship but any idea when/if Steam will put it on offer again. ?19 is rather a lot of money to splash out on for game content. Cheers
  • Was a pleasure gaming with you mate. Been good company over the years. Happy gaming. :(
  • Just back from the show and Wow! What a weekend. My partner and I had two day passes with Shatner and Bakula talks. Shatner was both funny and eloquant with many a tale to tell while Bakula was engaging, energetic and very forthcoming. This was our second ST convention, the last being 10 year ago when Mr Nimoy was over.…
  • Not set in space but quirky and very well acted is 'A Town Called Eureka'. Had two seasons on Sky then ventured over to sciyfy channel for a further three seasons. Very very good acting, storyline and overall plot makes it well worth watching. But again its not space based.
