I think I was too tired to notice that the actual claimable item is in the "top" tab, which is a line in the purchase window of the store that I missed the first time. My problem is resolved. Disregard.
They gave me an answer that lacked all of your condescending "Um..." nonsense and everything that came after that. Again, nothing in your recent reply is useful or helpful and you're only further confirming everything I had presumed about your attitude since you posted on this thread. Do you need to win a last word game?…
That's interesting, and yeah I see it now. It may just be misleading that "Romulan Mystery" says "All Factions" instead of "Fed/KDF" or even "all but Romulan." Maybe that's the error, a textual one, that the GM said they would forward. If that's the case that makes sense, even if the text was misleading. Ah well, it's just…
Sure, buddy. Your response, which seems like some last-word game attempt, isn't helpful, even if your toxicity is under pretense of offering help. You didn't help previously, or in your most recent post. Frankly, why are you still here? There's another poster in this thread that's been a lot more helpful and isn't toxic…
I'll try Steam images. Hope that works. https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/1773832368398813051/787DFC25EA2B48971CF7F23B3AEBAAAF4DF58D2C/ https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/1773832368398813276/E52060297FB26BED6D40D11DDE14C2774E905408/ As you can see from these screenshots, I have evidently, on my KDF-allied…
I didn't have the problem. In fact I was the one that helped my friend solve it because it wasn't immediately apparent to him why act 2 wasn't visible to him. That said, if he didn't want help and instead wanted toxic condescension, I would have instead suggested he make a Reddit account.
That's the thing: "Romulan Mystery" says "All Factions" and doesn't say it excludes Romulan Delta Recruits, KDF or Fed. The reward is the 100 marks one. That's the one that isn't available to me after otherwise completing all arcs and getting all other rewards. No need for the "um... yeah..." delivery. I don't think I…
I'm getting the "Unable to complete transaction: that item cannot currently be purchased" problem too. Spread the word; maybe the squeaky wheel will get some grease.
That's why they're totally doing all of that in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ecH-Npklj8s It may be hard to notice because what you see is them doing none of that and instead spamming fire at will. Even when Branflakes did his (in)famous playthrough of the old elite content some months back he and his friends…
Wrong. Look at Positron/Decker's recent thread about the new content and the new queue system: its a discussion of what level of DPS is demanded and not much else. That sounds nonviable to me: why bring anything but damage in this state of things, unless you mean to be someone's caddie and give them additional damage at…
They're nowhere to be found outside of your novelty mention, and probably for good reason: they are not the absolute-super-dps-energy-spam-at-all-costs that is being showcased here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ecH-Npklj8s
An abomination, huh? Is it that great for there to be all these captain classes, ship classes, consoles, and powers, but none of them meaning a lick of difference if they're not DPS focused? Your "plethora of roles" is vapor, pushed away by the breeze which is watching a playthrough of the upcoming endgame content, and see…
That's hardly a replacement by any means. No such thing is even suggested in the basic presentation of the game. There's "threat control" powers and skill point sinks that are basically worthless, among other things. So, no, it's not a substitute, and even if it were, seems the only thing being brought to the table by the…
Its a worse kind of gear check, in a way, here. WoW has gear checks to see if a tank can handle the boss, if the healer can keep enough healing going. Here, the "gear check" is a stupid damage meter chase and nothing else matters.
It may be too late to do it this late in game development, but it seems like it was a bad idea to have a "bring anything" approach to queueing to begin with, instead of traditional MMO roles such as tank/heal/dps. Over time, it's clear that only dps matters and that's getting even further focused on now. No…
So you got yours. Congratulations. You had to do it with a very narrow over-emphasis on damage. Is that really what's best for the game? Bring nothing else, do nothing else?
Yet here you are congratulating yourself, quite possibly on borrowed "flaws" someone else found for you. And the rest of us can enjoy fiction without insecurity.
The only thing that seems to offend edgy internet people is to call them out on it. Then it turns into "can't you take a joke" or "it's just a game" or other backpedaling.
I take it you're posting this from the backseat of your stretched limo sportscar after an invigorating kickboxing sparring match with your contortionist flight stewardess girlfriend, going between a hostile takeover of one corporation to another with a giant pool of money cushioning your desktop-power laptop?
Hoo boy. This has gone on forever, well before STO. Star Trek "fans" seem to have a habit of congratulating themselves for finding inconsistencies. Or much more often, finding other people's list of inconsistencies, relaying them, and feeling really smart.
