My money says the drones are Iconian and that everything they have is robotic so they can be all mysterious and manipulative and not get their hands dirty.
I would add this: We Foundry authors can't help it if you don't read the descriptions, dialogue, and instructions we write for you. That's your responsibility as a player. Also, waypoints/reach markers in space maps are basically 2D planes. We can adjust their vertical height and diameter but don't have any way to…
I think making Dilithium an account-wide currency and putting a small (say 300-500) amount as an optional reward on all the story missions would go a long, long way in making the grind more palatable.
Thanks so much for the praise, everyone! I had a rock-and-roll time making that mission so I'm glad people had fun playing it. For those of you that have had problems with a bug where you fall through or get stuck in the floor I think it's been fixed. Sorry about the inconvenience. Please let me know if you have any other…
I agree with the OP. I immediately recognized Worf when I saw that post, which is a credit to the quality of the likeness. Very nice to see another established character in the game.
I'm curious as to what difficulty you're playing on. I've never been able to beat a D'deridex on anything but Normal. I'm sure there are some of you out there that can chew them up on Elite, but they're some of the tougher critters I've found.
I'm pretty sure I've seen piranhas do that at a public aquarium. The whole school just floated there still as a corpse facing the same direction. Waitng. It's not exactly beach party vacation to have piranhas, but it might be fun to have a human NPC notice the stillness of your fish and comment on piranhas.
I've tried to do a little of all the options in the OP. I think it all comes down to how important I want that particular NPC to be to my players. Additionally, I enjoy descriptive names that go beyond title. For instance, I have a mission where a klingon medic is giving a crewman a verbal beating, saying something like,…
I was going to give a line along the lines of, "the only real thing people should rate a mission with is to answer the question 'did I like it?'" but then I got to thinking that people come to missions with expectations all over the spectrum of possibilities, some of them bizarre and unreasonable. As much as part of me…
I understand things are in crazy transition mode right now, but after the complete Zen switch happens, am I going to have to keep manually distributing my Zen between CO and STO (or other PWE games for that matter)? I'd like to be able to just spend from my entire Zen balance it at my discretion from inside the game.
