Eleos Intel Scout Vessel

With the winter event well under way and some people buying out the event, I was wondering how does the ship stack up? Honestly I like the look, it has a Steamrunner vibe to it, but with raider flanking, cmdr sci/intel, lt/cmdr uni/mw. But the thing that has piqued my interest is the console.

Console Power - Custom Power Matrix

This console handles a series of custom wiring and system overhauls meant to improve the overall management of power across the entire starship. It comes with 3 preprogrammed specialized routines meant to divert power from one of three subsystems into other parts of the energy matrix. Activating any of these routines will increase the performance of Bridge Officers. Diverting power from Shields will boost your weapons’ Firing Cycle, diverting power from Auxiliary will increase your weapons’ Critical Chance, and diverting power from the Engine will increase your weapons’ Critical Severity. All 3 routines can be online at the same time.

This console additionally provides a passive bonus to your Shields/Engine/Auxiliary
Subsystems power or Power Transfer Rate depending on if it's equipped into a Science/Tactical/Engineering/Universal console slot.

Now until we have the numbers on this it just seems 'cool' but could it be the new 'meta' console?

After some research on the Console - Universal - Custom Power Matrix The numbers look really good. Especially because that this is weapon haste, not directed energy weapon haste. Which means it applies to experimental weapons, including the absurdly strong hexa cannons. So in my opinion we are looking at the new energy weapon build meta console. Get it while you can.

So how does one activate these various preprogrammed specialized routines in order to get all the bonuses? Would a player simply activate the console as often as possible? A recharge time of 10 seconds seems pretty quick.

Having so many bonuses in one console sounds very generous but also seems kinda scary at the same time.

You just activate them and leave them on, that's it; you have to manually turn them off and on. Whilst it's generous, you are losing 15 power EACH on each subsystem you divert from, so it is costly to run without having a source of extra power to offset it. The Temporal Disentanglement Suite is less costly for +5.3 Aux, 0-2.5 Crit, 0-10% CritH compared to 5% Crit, 15% CritH and 20% Haste for 45 (less 20 if not equipped in Uni seat) power.

I don't really care about the console, I'm just looking forward to commissioning SS Minnow, NAR-92664 (or NAR-26964, if you prefer European date formats).

    Nice reference.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

I haven't thought much on the name of mine. Might go with something like Diligent (Wing Commander) or Serenity (Firefly). Maybe Ebon Hawk.

As in actually something naughty or just "Something Naughty" and call it a day since I probably would do the second option, saves me from figuring out something that doesn't make me look like 12 year old who just discovered swearing is a thing and works still as joke (and as bonus you should be forced to changed that as it's not against the rules).

If it has a Dark skin option i may call mine Raven. Maybe combined with a classic borg look or (if the cost isn't excessive) a Borg vanity shield. Section 31 vanity shield might work as well.

Would have to agree that the second option is probably a lot easier

I still have one captain whose every ship is the USS InvalidEntityName, so USS/IKV/DV/whatever Something Naughty sounds okay. (I also put a Jem'Hadar in command of a Nagus-class Marauder, DV Ostentatious Display, so of course I lean in favor of mildly silly names.)

I have a question to this particular ship, since it is for both factions. Does with this ship goes one of Federation ship interiors? Having federation looking ship with interior of B'rel might look kind of weird and immersion breaking, especially during RP.

You should have access to ALL bridges you've unlocked. So you can put any bridge on it that comes with any ship on a particular character. So... for example if you picked up the Nagus Marauder, you can put the Ferengi bridge on the Eleos.

Question is, if KDF character or Romulan character has access to federation bridge, so they can be used with this ship. Or if this ship comes with some federation ship which is restricted to use only on this ship. It would be nice to have complete ship, since starfleet bridges are already in game.

On Fed character this is not an issue, since as you say they can use any unlocked bridge. On other factions this might be big problem, since it is "Any" faction ship.

No restrictions based on faction. All bridges, even special ones from any lockbox/lobi ship you have, are options.
I could put the Mirror Crossfield bridge on the Eleos on my KDF if I wanted.

I have the Klingon carrier bridge (I forget the name at the moment) on one of my Fed ships, the new Miranda bridge on a couple of KDF ships, and the Walker bridge on one of my Romulan ships, so I don't think bridges will be a problem. Also, if a KDF player has a Fed or Romulan ship with a bridge (or even any character on their account with one), then they have a Fed or Romulan bridge as well as the usual KDF bridges, even if it is just that hideous one that looks like a parking garage.

What phoenix said. If a ship comes with a unique bridge, you can use that bridge on any ship that character has. If it doesn't come with a unique bridge, it has access to any bridges available, stock, C-Store, or off ships with unique bridges.

Aye, that is why I asked. Some ships come with bridge, some don't. In this case I would assume it is packed with bridge, since Starfleet bridges are in game already, unline Orion ones. But I got my answer. Most likely, this ship goes without one and to complete it, it needs bridge from other ships.
