So what would you like to unwrap this holiday season from under the Star Trek Online tree? What promotion did you miss, something you wish was universal across factions? What would you like to see? For me, I didn't know the Lower Decks hair was not an account wide unlock, so I unlocked it on a toon that couldn't use it. Also, I think it would be awesome if Remen goggles could be unlocked across factions. Ok, now what is your wish?

The Lower Decks hair and accessories are SUPPOSED to be Account Unlock. I'm not sure if that has been fixed yet. Might want to check your other characters. If not let me know and I'll pass it up the chain.

Well... they do have that Quwat Milat sword, which is about as close to a Katana as you can get in game. And you could probably do a mockup of a Gi with Vadek Robes.

I understand that many pieces only fit certain races, but unlock as much as possible then have the artists work on the unusable pieces and old limited palettes as a background task in between work for episodes, TFOs, and other new pieces.
Santa Q could call it Cross Faction Space Barbie and require leveling a KDF character to 65
Yes, that would be great. Maybe DECA will hire a few more 3D clothing/hair artists so there are more than just the three Cryptic had doing it so something like that would be possible
Hard no to mixing Off-duty with Uniforms. I want Star Trek Online, not another Perverts Online like PSO2
If I played PSO2 I'd be trying to make Tamamo-no-Mae or something. My Costume Fiend side would go nuts again. lol

For the game, I like the idea of opening the palette. I'm tired of dressing my Roms in pastels.
nope has not been fixed yet
Just the one event or the whole 6-event meta-campaign? If the meta-campaign too then remember buying out an event will get you matching meta progress, but only for the days you bought not 14 days.
(Buying out a non-meta event? For meta the effect is Willy Wonka. You get nothing! Good DAY sir!)
Passed it up the chain.

You can technically do that already with specific uniform(s) (note that pics might be considered NSFW even though it's something you can do in-game hence the spoiler and before you ask, beyond this demonstration it wouldn't be something I'd do personally).
And the uniform in question is "duty" uniform (the Iconian resistance set to be exact).
ok i hate acronyms I don't know. what is PSO 2?
Phantasy Star Online 2. Its a Sega run MMO.

It was originally a PEGI 12-rated game in Europe when the 'Worldwide' version released, but because of certain player 'attitudes' and the way you can build characters that are almost all 'skin' the rating went to '16+' and now it an '18+' as of July. TBH it was Sega's fault for building the game that way in Japan, so it was no surprise certain players started complaining about not having certain aspects of the Japanese version and no surprise when Microsoft and the ratings board stepped in on the Worldwide version. But still, players have still done their best to demonstrate they are perverts There's no way the game is 90% 'female' players.
But back to the point, let's keep the uniforms tasteful shall we.
1) Bring back Foundry (Yes, on FCT is reply from devs, but we are paying customers and we should be those who say what we want, not devs telling us what we want. STO player numbers drop down because of politics like this. They shouldn't be allowed to dismiss it with one post in dusty topic and should be reminded what we want)
2) More planets to explore in space oriented game (Could be accompanied with some new content rewarding actual exploration of planets)
3) More bridges to custom ships so we can invite friends to shiny ships, we bought in store or earned.
4) Stupid feature, but could be fun. Reference to Next Generation or Deep Space Nine. Ability to play games like Poker, Tongo with other captains for latinium. Such interface is not hard to make from game development side.
5) More brave approach to game from devs. Game is bit stalling, not changing, and it feels like on life support and some new spark could bring players back.
6) Community to voice out more their demands. Many MMOs proved us, that when paying customers start to leave, game will slowly die out without them. Before you leave, do not get discouraged by "Devs said no" "This is not for discussion" and bash your demands openly. Without paying customers telling devs what they want, they are headless chickens doing random stuff which nobody asks for, and they don't know why people are leaving their game.
Because my post reacting to alegations got deleted, I will have to put it here, since some reactions need more elaboration:
I understand that it was explained many times and I'm aware it is on FCT, but that is not solution. You see, this is not FOS project, where devs are making game for free as their small project which they do for fun. This is business project. And for such, there is marketing team, sales team and project managers involved in the process. This game works on model, where players play the game for free, and there are hopes, they open their wallets and pay for subscription or ships if they like the content.
For this model to work, Game Devs need to have feedback from players. Because only happy players, are willing to open their wallets more. This is usually work of sales and project managers, which see numbers and decide what is viable or not. By saying "Do not talk about this, it's there in topic.", you will end up players actually not talking about what would make them love game more and spend on game more. Which in numbers for sales and project managers will result in They do not talk about it anymore, therefor they do not want it anymore. It's not worth to put effort in this. So no, this will change a thing if enough player will "demand" certain feature in game, so it convinces company, that this project is moneywise viable.
You are absolutely correct. That is why I do not use any offensive way how to state what I want to say. My goal is to remind players, that they are customers of this game, without them and their "demands" this game will die out and there is synergy between devs and players. It's snowballing effect. There is certain critical borderline, when people disappear so much, that new players will come and see almost empty game and they will not put their time and money into playing it. And even diehard players will notice that and start to feel frustrated. If devs will read every day about one certain thing again and again, it might be uncomfortable, but also it shows that there is real market demand for it.
BRING BACK THE FOUNDRY!
This has already been explained on multiple occasions. That is why we have the FCT. Bottom line is FCT is set in stone unless otherwise stated by the Devs. No amount of "paying customer" arguments is going to change that.

BRING BACK THE FOUNDRY!
True, but one point of the FCT is to tell us that there are business and/or technical reasons why Santa is NOT going to bring us items on that list.
The game engine might not support it with a sane amount of effort. CBS/Viacom might say no. Cryptic/DECA is a business. There might be 100 paying customers who would pay $10 for a new bridge, but if it costs them $5,000 to make the bridge then they just lost $4,000. It cam also mean taking time away from work on something else that the business needs more. Sometimes they do these things anyway, but they have to make a good profit or the servers shut down and the game disappears forever.
When someone grumbles that "they always fix cash shop bugs first!" it helps to realize that the cash shop keeps the lights on.
Related to unlocking the tailor, more rank pip options for BOffs. If deca wanted to be picky, limit it to Elite BOffs, but I want to put Captain pips on a few of my officers.
Also, a T-6 Hegh'ta Bird of Prey retrofit.
Honestly I would love to have updated Mirror skins for a lot of the Klingon ships too. That bronze color is nice.

Yep, that is what I wrote in my second post (Somehow it sadly disappeared). Cashflow is important, especially since this is not Open Source Project, but business model. And for that reason I do not believe, it is healthy to lock discussion behind FCT, as it prevents of generating numbers.
If 500 people with wallets keep talking about certain topic, and numbers of players are dropping, sales and project management teams are more likely to review options and past statements, then if 0 people talk about what they want and just leave in silence. Business is made by numbers, and numbers must be generated.
AKA: Business is not democracy per say, but we still vote with our wallets. One of glorious examples was when in EVE online was strike of players and developers and project managers realized, that their audience is not happy with course of action and negotiations were held. It revived game for quite long time in long run (And generated more money for creators ofc, rather then if players would simply leave).
BRING BACK THE FOUNDRY!
This forum is not by any stretch on the imagination the sole source of information for the players and the thing with FCT is that pretty much every time it's same arguments put forth so rather then keep repeating the same explanation over and over the devs instead created a place where those explanations are housed so they don't have to repeat them.
Even when the Foundry was a thing I don't think enough players used it that its removal caused a major shift (sure some players left not the majority) and also wonder how many of those players wanting the Foundry back want it for the intended purpose instead of just having a quick way of doing kill accolades.
I liked most the idea of Holo Suite where you purchase ability to do that, and then assets packs which are containerized (not modified with patches) same as in Sims 4, which are sold for creators. Not only it would generate profit by itself, entertained people, but also took weight from shoulders of Devs for example in requests "Make us Ferenginar as zone", "Expand bridges", as players would be able to do this work for them and for free.
For this is discussion important and also reason why this still needed to show up on reddit, forums, talks with devs as it might expose true numbers of potential business opportunity. Times, technologies, ideas may over years change. What wasn't possible 4 years ago, might have solution now in different take. But key point is not to ask moderators for "Why is not Foundry brought back" but more letting devs know, that we still are interested in this kind of product, how many people is still interested, so they can calculate financial viability. If people are still buying lifetime subscriptions, I believe this would still find many happy buyers.
