It's a little early, but let's start our speculation for the Winter event ship.
What direction do you folks think it'll go this year?
Last year it was the Tamarian Cruiser, the year before that the Interceptor.
Which direction do you folks think it will go?
Orion based with Lower Deck season 5 influence?
Paklet from Lower Decks
Gorn design from SNW?
Confederation ship (there were other ships beside the World Razer and La Sirena) from Picard?
The designs usually do not blend in with the story line event ships.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
I don't know where it will go, but personally I think the most appealing option on the list there would be the ancient Orion designs like the D'var if they should choose to go that route this year. Their elegant, lithe, pre-fall aesthetics are lightyears better than the klunky, ugly, barge-based garbage the Syndicate tends to run.

That one would be a nice change of pace to fly. And either fun or a torment to the ship designer depending on how far out on the edge of the game engine the features required to make it are.

If I never see anything from the cursed Confederation timeline again it'll be too soon.
Considering the only actual Confederation ship we saw besides the La Sirena was a seemingly normal looking Steamrunner and Nova, if maybe more aggressive colorations, I think we're not likely to see anything unless STO's ship designers decide to try and do their own take on some designs, but that's a... rather risky move as some fan designs have already been seen, especially from the YouTuber TriAngulum Audio Studios and his kitbashes that were made to flesh out a narrative on Confederation ship designs, compared to their Federation counterparts. All Fanfic work of course and drawing from both Alpha and Beta Canon sources, but still... there are fan designs of Confederation ships that exist.

Honestly... it could be ANYTHING. Since we had a Gorn design in a lockbox, I'm kinda iffy on Gorn. But then again we had the Eisenberg class as a Winter Event ship.
Hell... we could even get the TNG Freedom Class from Wolf 359!
I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!

Heck, let's go really old-school and get the original version of the Orion ship from before TOS had its graphics upgrade. A ship that's just a spinning diamond of light!
Last year it was the Tamarian Cruiser, the year before that the Interceptor.
The Fek'Ihri Interceptor is likely the final Fek'Ihri ship we'll see, but I always found it disappointing that the consoles from the four ships didn't gain set-bonuses similar to how the Breen ships did. (Same could be said for the Alliance designs?)
It's difficult to predict too, because when the devs make an exception to the established pattern, they really do become unpredictable.
In 2021, we got a Starfleet ship - the Eisenberg class, which was very nice to have.
Last year, the Tamarian Cruiser appeared at Winter, yet I'd always thought that might have been better as a Summer Event ship.
So, I think the only thing we can predict is that the ship will be unpredictable.
However, given we even got the Farpoint Cnidarian a couple of years ago, although it was Summer, I wouldn't be surprised if we got one of the following:
"The meaning of victory is not to merely defeat your enemy but to destroy him, to completely eradicate him from living memory, to leave no remnant of his endeavours, to crush utterly his achievement and remove from all record his every trace of existence. From that defeat no enemy can ever recover. That is the meaning of victory."

if i had to flip a dime it'd be the Farragut from SNW, An Orion design or the Paklet.
These simply because they tie in with current running shows, aren't cash grab material for lockboxes and do NOT tie in with the development for the current story in STO.

Forgot that was ingame.
Don't think i have ever seen this ship in a TFO.
Guess we can cross that off the list, unless the devs make it a neutered version.

I'm sorry, but Picard blew it up (rather than simply lay our warning buoys and call in some archaeologists from the Federation).
Interesting though it would be, it is unlikely.

I'd quite like this too. It could be a good theme. We've had a Breen theme for a few years, and a Fek'iri theme for a few years. Minor race ships from the shows would be a cool theme too - although there've also been plenty of them in lockboxes etc, so maybe it's not that likely.

We also got the Tamarian ship for a winter event. We got the Jellyfish for a Summer event. We even had a Ferengi ship for an event.

It's unlikely, but i think it'd be funny to get a waste disposal based Malon Vessel.

If I'm not mistaken, we still don't have a playable version of the oft-seen, diagonally-winged ship that appeared as various minor races' warships, system patrollers, freighters and such, and I believe has already been modeled and used for NPCs in the game a few times. This little guy:
first seen in TNG's "Suddenly Human" as the Talarian warship Q'Maire.
T6 Kazon ship, the Raider is in need of a T6 replacement and there's also the cruiser and carrier

The model of that ship is what later became the Tamarian Cruiser. Maybe the devs would let us kitbash them?

Funny thing is... I'm not against the idea of putting the Millennium Falcon in the game, though we probably wouldn't be able to call it that. Probably something more like "Alien Freighter" or something similar. After all, they put in the hoverboards from Back to the Future to honor the series, and made a Doctor Who homage with Kal Dano's ship, so why not a Star Wars homage, too?
Problem is... good luck getting permission from Disney.
Point of order: the boards on Risa are almost the opposite of the hoverboards from BTTF. For one thing, they work best over water, an environment that didn't serve Marty McFly well at all. For another, they're full-size surfboards, not the size of skateboards. The reason our hoverboards hover is because (per Tacofangs' discussion of such matters in CO) vehicles that touch a surface wind up looking really weird the first time the surface isn't flat and level. That's also why the vehicles in CO all fly - the only one they could make that wouldn't point at weird angles on every hill in Millennium City would be a unicycle, and even I only have one toon that would ride a unicycle (although Captain Americlown would very much like one).
Therefore, no, the Falcon wouldn't be a good addition. Besides, do you really want a ship that can only follow established hyperlanes, and can never go to a star that isn't well-charted? (That's the big drawback to SW hyperdrive - only specially-designed ships can go where no man has gone before.)
The Borg refused to assimilate the Kazon, as they would have actually diminished the Collective. Are we sure they can make a T6 ship?
T5 Raider was a fun ship to fly

Considering its smaller than the Tamarian ship... I don't see kitbashing, but could make for an interesting ship.

Was aiming for the Tier 6 variant of the Malon Battlecruiser.
It'd be nice if it had a trait to uplift old, little used boff powers such as Eject Warp Plama or the Theta Radiation console.

The Falcon is perfect capable of making its own lane if needed (I mean if it was stuck to pre-existing lanes what would it need to calculate to jump into Hyperspace, it would be like taking a highway yes you might have to think of the optimal route in those high ways but you wouldn't have to try to figure out where the highway was) and SW ships can turn while in hyperspace.
EDIT:That said Star Wars ships prefer to stay on the pre-existing lanes especially the larger ones as that makes travelling much faster.

I think the Wookie pilot is the main selling point.

So help me, if the Kazon Raider (which came out as a T-5 intentionally during the first wave of T-6s) gets a retrofit before the Hegh'ta...
