There's been a clear and bee-eee-aay-yootiful remaster there, but I still want to have the old version as seen in thay8472's signature.
(I think my luck there would be the same kind of luck a bald man has when winning a hairdryer!)
A pack? Surely not just one? Maybe a stack of 4 or 8 packs like we've had in previous Events?
I remember back in 2014 we had a thread pathetically begging for it and the Jupiter to be playable.

6. I believe the blog says you'll get a total of 6 weapons. So enough for a full loadout, unless you're wanting a full 8 beam build or something.

Obviously I'm not disappointed at this, but it is unusual.

It is probably the usual poorly edited copypaste job since other than that odd bit it appears to be the standard 20 days at two points a day event setup.
I like what they did with the ship design overall, though the purple glows that thay8472 mentions would have been better than the boring default pale blue and teal the single picture of the playable ship has. The purple would even make sense and add depth to the lore if the playable Typhoons were improved ones built in the Dyson automated factories using some of the Dyson technologies (hence the purple glows) like the science destroyers do.
If they continue this trend next fall, a ship I would really like would be the Excalibur class cruiser that afaik is only seen for a few seconds in a cutscene in the second Dyson sphere, the ship class that was nicknamed "the sitting dog". It is an odd design for Starfleet ships, more vertical than usual, and is a nice change of pace look while still retaining all the expected Fed features.

It is probably because the weapons are from a lockbox, they normally do this when they give weapons and the like away, at least 3 times they have given lockbox/Lobi store stuff away and they have always been non reclaimable, plus also you will probably claim the weapons at the same time as the dlithium.
The confusion about the number of packs is annoying, someone said it says 6 but that refers to the number of weapon variants and not the number of packs, plus previously they gave some ultimate upgrade things with the packs, but not this time if the post is accurate.

If I choose from the 6 options, I'm getting just one weapon. This is why I'm hoping for a stack of packs, similar to what we received form Equal and Opposite, Mycelial Crisis, and Reflections of Empire.
same, one pack here = one weapon, which to me is a bit odd/underwhelming. dont get me wrong the ship is GREAT looking....but one weapon is kinda ho hum lol
But the overall design I like.
