Basically what the title says. Is there any word when this will happen or will it?
"There is iron in your words of death for all Comanche to see, and so there is iron in your words of life. No signed paper can hold the iron. It must come from men. The words of Ten Bears carries the same iron of life and death. It is good that warriors such as we meet in the struggle of life... or death. It shall be life." - Ten Bears (Will Sampson)

Haven't heard one way or the other. But I wouldn't be surprised if something is in the works somewhere. It did take us quite a while to get the T6 DSC starter.
I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!

I hate to point out, but with that thread title, you can consider this request granted because we already have the Pioneer skin in the game.
Now, I know what you mean, and I hope we do get the T6 Pioneer sooner rather than later - perhaps with a Movie-era skin.
Some new Enterprise-era ships would be nice too. It's the one era of the show that isn't represented too well. (Ganges/Intrepid)
We have loads of movie era ship designs, especially since movie era design and TNG era design is pretty much the same thing since there is so much aesthetic overlap between them. TOS era with its roots in googie aesthetics is shockingly underrepresented, especially since the TOS era recruitment started. Of course, one reason is probably that googie aesthetics are harder to do with current 3D tools since Euler spirals and golden ratio tools are rather rare and doing it by eye is not easy.
A movie-era Pioneer would probably look like a mini Nebula class or a new ShiKahr class flying upsidedown more than it would anything new. And of course, it would be useless for Temporal recruits wanting to stick with TOS aesthetics.
We have the pioneer skin? What ship ship can you put that on? I have the perseus, ranger, and gemini that go on the theseus, paladin, and sagitarius t6 temporal ships. I really don't know where the t1 pioneer skin can be applied.

The only ship that can use the Pioneer skin... is the T1 Pioneer. People are wanting some way to use it at T6.

I don't know... a TMP Pioneer is interesting to me as an option. Connie Refit style saucer and "secondary hull", Maybe Connie Refit nacelles unless Oberth would work better for the scale, probably swept back pylons...
Ability to kitbash with the TOS model...

I should have quoted, a player had said likely because we already have a pioneer skin. We have a pioneer ship and that can be converted easy enough to a ship as a skin, is probably what they meant.

edit- I got excited there for minute.
Same here . I ended up checking the c-store ships to see if any t6 had a pioneer skin. Well just have to be patient.

It is supposed to be a utility light cruiser like the Miranda family line (or the California in a post-TNG era) so it would probably use the Refit nacelles easily enough, and it would probably need the extra power for external engineering tasks like cutting or towing things. Oberth nacelles would probably be too underpowered.
I still think it would be too same-old, same-old looks wise though. For instance, the Miranda already has a Connie Refit saucer though it is only visible in front of those bump-out sections that cover about a third of the rear of it, a number of its stablemates have swept back pylons (most pointing down instead of up though if the Clarke's pylons were longer they would work), the secondary hull is so short that about the only thing that could be done would be to change out the tritanium dish for a glowing plasma tube-array dish like the connie refit has or just use the large pod from the refit ShiKahr as its secondary hull. The T1 Pioneer already has the torpedo goiter so popular in the movie era.
A better way would be to keep in mind Jefferie's description of how a Starfleet ship should look: sleek and minimalist with organic curves and angles done in metal, uplifting and hopeful looking spiced with just a hint of alien feel to it (or words to that effect, it has been too long since I last read it to quote it from memory exactly) and let the designers run with it. The trick would be to stay away from copying too many movie-or-later features but at the same time suggest them as a precursor.

Well... if they wanted they could also go the OTHER way. Look back rather than forward.
