Steam login issues?

Hello everyone, I wanted to play a bit of STO this evening but... keep getting a very strange error I've never had before;

"Unable to authenticate: Exceed timeout while waiting for steam login ticket"

I have never had this issue before, weird thing is that Neverwinter works PERFECTLY fine. No issues on the launcher, can login fine there. STO? Nope. I tried a few tricks with admin mode, offline mode, reboot etc. etc. but nothing helps. Note I have this very same issue with Elder Scrolls Online as well right now but... Lost Ark and ANY other online game I tried work perfectly fine.

Is this something with STO and ESO? I really can't imagine I can do anything to fix this since my other games work perfectly fine, anyone else ever had this?

    I've had the same error for the last 2 hours, and also having a little trouble with Elder Scrolls Online, have been able to get into ESO though.

    I just circumvented Steam's login bs for ESO but simply launching the client directly from the folder. I think STO can do the same thing so will try in a moment. I tried contacting Steam support about it but can't find anywhere to make a ticket for it.

    I'm having the same problem logging in from the Steam launcher. When I log in from the Epic launcher I can get in game.

    EDIT: Bypassing Steam and opening Star Trek Online.exe works. Something is wrong with the Steam Launcher.

    I used to have one account via ARC (which I was having troubles getting recovered when I returned to STO) and one via Steam so I could play along with my old Steam group while the first account was being worked on, but when AoD came out a similar error happened so much that I ended up having to switch so they both are via ARC.

    I hope my ESO account does not start having the problem since I have one of the old ".net" emails and ESO cannot understand a .net suffix for some reason so launching the client directly is not an option for me.
