Disconnections or timeout connecting to game server on map transitions is really getting frustrating

I'm wondering if it's the broadband I'm now using Virgin Media or the games servers, but it's getting to the point where it's feels like a 50/50 chance of being disconnected when transferring maps, be it transwarping to a fleet holding or sector space, going to a bridge or entering a TFO.

Is anyone else experiencing a high number of disconnections on map transfers?

    Yes, I am. I'm on Virgin Media too. It seems to me to mostly happen when transferring into instanced maps where I'm the only person on it. (solo missions, bridges, fleet holdings). I rarely get it when going to Sector Space, or ESD, or a TFO.

    It's mostly the servers or rather the routing to the servers. Been a bounce fest since Embracer bought Cryptic.

    I don't get map transfer issues but I do get regular "time slips" in TFOs, especially busy ones. It's a multi-platform issue too, console and PC suffer with it.

    I'm having the same propnlem on Champions online and Verizon DSL my friend Has verizon and the same issue with both STO and Champions. Started 2 weeks ago on Aug 4 for me

    All three of Cryptic's main games seem to have the map transfer disconnect problem, and it is rare on ESO, Secret World Legends or any of the other games I play, so it is not the ISP alone causing it. I am on Comcast btw.
