So we have the Jellyfish, Kwejian Frigate, Emerald Chain Intel Dread... What else?
Are there any more animated ships, it would be great to have more animated ships what do you guys think?
The original Risian Cruiser can deploy it's sails as well, although that might be only in sector space.

The Orion Intruder/Scout has that animated spinning ring though the ship is not in the game so far. It is one that a lot of people ask for but has so far been ignored by the devs.

From what I know, some of the 32c ships do have some minor "floating" on their disconnected parts.
Also the Crossfield variants do the full saucer rotation before jumping, both via Transwarp and by using the Spore Drive console in missions.
The Veteran Destroyers, and the Dysons, both have a visible transformation mechanic. Some of the later hybrid destroyers (Titan class) do as well, but mostly just a light changing to display status rather than parts moving. Hell... one ship just does a 180 so the back becomes the front.
The Klingon BoPs wings move depending on if they're in combat or not (Although I think the Mirror Ki'tang is forever in combat mode.) I think the D4x also moves a lot more because Pilot maneuvers.
The Scimitars can actually deploy their wings when they use the Thaleron Blast console.
The Tholian Tarantula has a rotating section, and it speeds up when using the Web Cannon.

So to summarize the list of ships in STO with animations so far and to add some of my own:
Jellyfish
Kwejian Frigate
Emerald Chain Intel Dread
Intrepid
Risan Weather Control Frigate
Risian Cruiser
Orion Intruder/Scout
32 c ships with floating parts
Crossfield variants
Veteran Destroyers
Dyson ships
Titan Class (lights)
Klingon BOPs
D4x
Scimitars
Tholian Tarantula
S31 Science Destroyer
S31 Battlecruiser
S31 Dread
Nausicaan Dread (this is the ship that flips on its back)
Kelvin Intel Battlecuiser (warp nacelle animation when goes into or out of warp. Fins extend)
Kelvin Command Heavy Cruiser (warp nacelle animation when goes into or out of warp. Fins extends.)
Separation abilities
Prometheus
Odyssey
Galaxies
D'Kyr
Kara class Warbird
Elachi dreads
Intrepid
Bortasqu' battlecruisers.
Jem'hadar Vangard Carrier
Just to make two tiny corrections, the Nausicaan ship is a destroyer not a dreadnought and the Orion scout isn't playable, only playable Orion ships are flight deck cruisers

I'd count both variants of the Kelvin Connie as one ship honestly. And they also have animated ramscoops if that matters, which would also include TOS Fed ships, and maybe a few of the DSC era ships (although not as noticable)

The Einstein-class (Kelvin Heavy Destroyer) has animated point defence turrets. When you enter combat, they extend and are the hard points of the experimental weapon. But unlike the Emerald Chain dread, those turrets don't actually track the target. They just extend and retract depending on whether you are in or out of combat.

To a lesser extent the arbiter/avenger battlecruiser has armour sort of thing that goes over the nacelles when in combat and the cardassian intel ships have a little orb thingy that pops out when using "gather intel" and then goes back in when it has no target

That reminds me, the Kelvin D7 also is animated, but not as noticable. The cannons actually extend a bit.
I can't wait for other ships with turrets to get that tech from the Emerald Chain Dread. I would dust off my Blackguard so fast...

I think that's true of all the intel ships actually.

This isn't animation in the usual sense, but the Romulan Reconnaissance Explorer Warbirds all have that exposed singularity field that causes a nice-looking lensing effect in the drive ring.

Technically I'd call that animated as I think the singularity is spinning. Would probably fall under the same animation category IMO as animated ramscoops.

Every time I see that gif in your sig it makes me feel bad for the last girl
I recognize that as being from RWBY Chibi. Its supposed to be comedy since Weiss can use her abilities to carve an ice statue, and Blake can just make an ice shadow clone, while Ruby has to do it the old fashioned way.

Sweet, true. We can also add the Risian Weather Control Frigate as well

The entire Intrepid line does, so I think she's technically covered.

Maybe it's just me or maybe they fixed it since I last tried that console, but the nacelles always be retracted after I launched the pet

Does the D'kyr's ring rotate so it is stored in the hole in the body like is sometimes seen in ENT?
I think so when it uses its Tal'Kyr support craft.
You know... I never actually thought about all the animated ships.
Speaking of...
The Fed Pilot Escorts also have moving bits when they go into combat.

Something like that. I picked it up when we got those t5 ship coupons awhile back.
