Lexington Class Dreadnought

I will probably be getting this one. Only question I have is whether or not we can use Oddy consoles on it, such as aquarius escort and saucer separation, and cosmetic options such as Sojourner and Yorktown parts.

Anyone have any inside knowledge?

    I'm more curious about the last part of your post. I'm more interested to find out if the other Odyssey parts can be used with it (namely the T5 Odyssey parts).

    The ships are released this Thursday. I plan to wait until Thursday and start looking for YouTube info or other posts here on what folks find out. We are bound to get our questions answered. But I'll wait until Thursday... More info will be available then...

    If they are in the same family as older ships, there is no reason to believe that they won't have access to the customization options of the newer ones. We already have a precident for it. Take the Crossfield for example. Even after the Legendary came out, we got the 32c Refit. And again lets look at the Miranda class. How many options were added to that class?

    Verity is a Legendary ship, which by definition includes the consoles of it's previous variations, so that's not a perfect example as these aren't legendary ships.

    That said, I do think they ought to be able to use the consoles from their other variants. Also, the new consoles have no ship restrictions, so you can use them on the existing ship variants or any other ship. :)
    As far as variants, aside from the unlocks mentioned in the blog I imagine other part unlocks will follow the standard rules, so which parts you'll have access to would depend on which ships you own.

    Honestly unless there's change to the model skeleton and it's a variant of a pre-existing class not allowing it to use consoles and skins from the previous variants would just be needlessly malicious as there's nothing preventing the use of those consoles and skins, oh and before some brings up the Constitution, the Kelvin Connie and the DSC Connie do have different model skeletons and thus they don't mix with the classic Connie.

    I'm just hoping the verity gets the lance from the new one now. Legendary ships are supposed to be the top end versions of the ships. Now I have to decide which one I want to take if one has a lance and one doesn't

    Honestly, Lore wise, it shouldn't be able to because the Spinal Lance goes through the spine of the ship, which includes the saucer separation plane.
    But STO found a work around where it turns the lance into a shotgun because shorter barrel I guess. *shrug*

    I got the ship just today and it seems its bugged inside ship tailor. I can't change leveriy from mirror lexington to Fed lexington. :( Anyone else with same issue?.

    I don't know if this is a bug or not, but you can't equip the odyssey bridge to the ship which doesn't make sense to me. It's by far the best bridge in the game. Awesome ship though!

    I'm using the Endeavor saucer and nacelles on mine, but I wish we could use the Oddy bridge since it looks like we can kit-bash the external components from the other Oddy variants.

    It could have been a simple oversight, or the devs didn't want to add it since the floor has a big Starfleet logo and they didn't want to replace it with the Teran Logo.

    Shouldn't be hard to do that, but I'm not a Dev. I also cannot find the advanced or elite mirror universe shuttlecraft in the dilithium or fleet starbase stores either!?

    Every version of the Odyssey variants I currently own were available to kitbash with this new Lexington… I own the Legendary as well as the other T6 versions… Also, the T5 skin was also available, even though I hadn’t ever purchased it… Seems I’m one of the suckers who have gone and purchased every version of the same damn ship over and over… Just in case anyone was wondering about the kit-bash-ability of this particular ship.

    Any update on when liverly ship tailor bug be sorted? I still can't change mirror lexington to normal fed lexington one. Keeps telling me I need to own normal Yorktown Class. But on post with mirror lexington it said clearly you can swap to fed lexington liverly. :(

    That logo needs to be redone - it looks like they took a far smaller version and scaled it up for the bridge floor - it's very badly pixelated around the outer edges, unlike the red stripes flanking it which are clean and smooth.​​

    Considering that all they did was slap the decal on the floor of the normal Ody bridge, as all other details look to be the standard Ody bridge... It was probably just a stopgap for a cutscene that only lasts a few seconds and seen from only one angle.

    No, because the Odyssey doesn't have a lance itself. You'll have the appearance, but if you want the functionality you'll have to actually fly a Lexington.
