Granted, nothing in this tweet references STO directly. But I'm hoping the fact that Kate Mulgrew and Thomas suddenly know each other means something good for STO soon

There are at least 3 options: time travel, hologram(like the new show), or older/STO-era Janeway. I would actually prefer the last option, but any would be better than none

She didn't say that about Picard because they're both from basically the same school of Captain. She was speaking more of Kirk and Sulu. The 23rd Century was a bit more wild west than the 24th.
I liked the STO blog where Admiral Janeway asked Seven of Nine to meet with her at the Jupiter Shipyards for a special project. It would be ironic if this project had to do with the U.S.S. Protostar.
On the other hand, I think it'd be cool if they had Janeway replace that racist tribble T'nae in the Romulan Mystery arc.

They most probably have got to lnow each other from STLV
Since they've admitted that their choice for Emperor isn't firmly locked down yet they could easily edit the new mission to change "him" to "her", and if their first pick declined but they then found out Mulgrew was open to it I'm sure they would jump at the opportunity.
True, however the banner work is stuff he would've done in his spare time, not official work for Cryptic, so it would make sense for her to tweet thanks to his personal Twitter. The question is what got them in contact with each other in the first place, that's where the speculation comes from but it could just as easily have been related to the Janeway class being added to the game rather than her having any official involvement with STO. As with all things only time will tell.
It's been years, but I vaguely remember her doing a good job along with the rest of the cast in the STV Elite Force game that's now available again from gog.com. I might buy it, but I know the 20 year old graphics (!) will look a bit rough.

She also did VO for Star Trek Legacy (Scott Bakula, William Shatner, Patrick Stewart, and Avery Brooks all did VO for that game as well).
I remember when the first was released, it was right around the time Jeri joined the show and they had someone else voicing Seven, but then rereleased it not long after, with her in it instead.
I used to love those games and yeah, the animations are ROUGH today, but the cheats were always such fun.
With the right thing and approached the right way...Kate would do it. I think Pads would too, but STO just has to step-up with the offer and especially the story.
