It's nice. While I was hoping someday there'll be a T6 Pioneer, I wasn't going to bet the farm on it.
I remember a ship-of-the-line book decades ago that showed what a Miranda-Class starship would look if it was designed in the TOS era, so it's nice that STO finally caught up. 😉

What is the Miranda class legendary for, aside from Khan using one to shoot the TRIBBLE out of the Enterrpise?
"Was a major named ship in a show or movie" seems to be the primary definition used for most of the Legendary ships, so. . . yeah, Khan driving the Reliant all over Star Trek II is enough. /shrug
I use the miranda (T6 reliant and the fleet malachowski), but for me, it is too expensive just for a skin (nice one btw), because I don't need the other stuff.
I would like to be able to buy the skins and only the skins unlockable in the ship tailor, as I don't want and need more ships, that would be interesting for me.
btw, these upgrades are worthless: 5x Enhanced Universal Tech Upgrades (no Dilithium cost to apply), they should be replaced by the ultimate upgrades, for a bundle at 12000 zen, that would be more logical.

Yeah I feel its the most blown up Star Trek Ship there is...
Also the price is a joke 6000 after 50% off, hard pass here. I already own 2 T6 Miranda ships and the 5/3 makes this one a bit better but the Ensign Pilot is a joke. Also I guess if you are as LAZY as Cryptic this was the best way to put out the next Legendary Ship because all they had to do is change a few stats and make 1 new skin. It's not even 2 months that they brought out a Miranda and yet there is people asking for other ships which never come. Good thing New World comes out end of this months...
C-Store Inc. is still looking for active members on the fed side. If you don't have a fleet feel free to contact me in game @stegi.

While this is true, I would say the only appearance that would actually warrant a Legendary designation is Khan using the Reliant as his villain ship. I guess you could say it was briefly a hero ship in the DS9 pilot, but the Borg took it out so fast that would be a difficult argument to make.

A TOS boost bundle released alongside the Temporal Recruit rerun was an OBVIOUS thing to do, and what other ship would they use? The Connie, Excelsior, NX and Walker all already have Legendary variants, there's no other Legendary worthy ship that would make sense to be TOSified.
The Saratoga was a Miranda-class starship and was featured in the pilot of Deep Space Nine, quite a celebrity episode (with the meet of two big captains). And of course the Reliant, Khan's highjacked ship. That is legendary enough to me. ^^

They had this planned out from the start. Plus, technically speaking, the Clarke class is more of a T6 Malachowski as it is another variant of a Miranda. It's clear that they decided to connect the two ship lineages together since they more or less looked similar to each other (The Malachowski being a pre-cursor).

While I have seen versions of a TOS Miranda before, they either didn't have the rollbar at all or had the phaser emitters on the joints. They also had a few more TMP era details. This one is pure TOS without the phaser emitters on the joints. Not bad at all IMO.
I was expecting if the Miranda was gonna get a legendary boost edition, it would be for standard 25th-century Starfleet, not AoY. I was thinking AoY would end up being the Pioneer - or at the very least, the Pioneer would get SOME kind of 25th (or, like the other TOS C-Store ships, 26th?) century upgrade. (Though given how they handled the Malachowski, I would not be surprised if it will end up also becoming a Miranda skin with a 25th-century variant.)
Still... when they said they were bringing the AoY recruit thing back for Trek Day, I suppose I should've seen something like this coming.
Am I the only one getting tired of ships being locked behind huge pay walls? We get almost nothing as regular C-store releases anymore. Anything that does get in the C-store is either Mudd's Extortion or the gigantic Legendary bundles.
Though I'd likely be giving this one a pass anyway. I was very interested when I saw the 5-3 weapon loadout, but only three tac consoles? Fleet Soyuz gives you four. Bit odd for the "Legendary" to be inferior in that respect.

Yeah the 3 tac consoles is a bit of a downer, imo since we already have 2 engineering focused Mirandas this should've been a science destroyer to give us both science and tactical options in one ship. The Miranda is one of the few ships shown to do pretty much everything, so it would've made sense.
The TOS Skin looks fantastic. But a dumb bundle for 12k Zen is a no-deal, sorry.
Give me the ship for a reasonable price, but not those bloatware bundles.

I'm guessing at this point, the difference between "people who will buy a 3k c-store ship" and "people who will buy a 6k+ bundle" isn't 2x. (i.e, they know that they won't sell twice as many 'cheap' ships, so why not cater to the whales?)
Speculation, of course. But they definitely know the actual numbers. And their behavior suggests that this makes them more money.

There is unfortunately very little left to release in the zen store at this point.
We have pretty much every canonical Fed, KDF, ROM, DOM, and Cardassian ship as is(except those very background Wolf 359 ships, and like the Yeager), and Cryptic has made original designs, often multiple, for most ship classes as well.
We know a T6 Steamrunner, and likely a T6 Saber, are being made, but beyond that theres like 20 or so Fed/KDF/ROM ships lacking a T6 version, and like 9 of those are the Dysons.

An argument that might have some weight had Cryptic not released a fair few completely original T6 ships already. Claiming there "isn't much left" based solely on what sub-T6 ships haven't yet gotten upgraded versions doesn't hold water.
The Lego Miranda's stats seem nice, the visual is nice, trait & consoles are meh.
I just find it hilarious how much someone at Cryptic must dislike Romulans to give this "multi-mission cruiser" a 5/3 weapon layout but to keep the Lego D'D' MW Warbird Battlecruiser at 4/4.
It's just sad, but I'm sure this will sell like a hot tamale.

Completely agree that these bundles should trade out the Enhanced for Ultimate. As is, makes no sense!
Yeah I'll pass on this the T6 Miranda already in game is good enough for me. I'll save and wait for the Steamrunner/Saber and the ship Cryptic forgot the Nova.
It looks good, but ultimately, for my own hero ship, I strongly suspect I would not use any TOS parts, especially since I already have so many options with the Clarke. This might be genuinely a ship I'd skip.
I probably wouldn't skip on a Tier 6 Pioneer...

The TOS version looks nice. I'd have to put a lot of weight on the ship because the 65 token isn't something that interests me. A Miranda isn't a D7 or T'Liss, and I enjoy leveling my captains; Especially during an event focused on doing that. Not a hard pass on sight, but not a YEESSSSsss!
