Server Timeouts Transitioning to... everywhere. POST Here If you have the Same Problem

It seemed like the problem was fixed right up until last Monday then bang! I was getting into two different TFOs and I timed out on both, one right after the other. It seems like it always happens when joining the Assault on Terok Nor. But the coup-de-gras was joining the Winter Event. Joined, timed out, rejoined after login, tried to complete the TFO and there was nothing or no one I could find, though it sounded like it was progressing. I never saw anyone, couldn't pick up the present, left the map using the TFO is over window, tried to get into another Winter TFO and to my surprise I was blocked for early leaving!!!! (which is another bane of mine!) You have got to be kidding! I was so peeved I quit playing. I have been playing regularly for 7 years and this is making me seriously consider stop playing and, take note DEVS, stop spending money.

I know that this problem has been on multiple threads, yet I could not find one with many posts. I also remember taking a survey for ARC/Cryptic giving them all of the info they asked for to help resolve this issue, yet here we are... same problem. This problem is severe enough to erode the player base due to shear frustration. After all, who wants to spend half of their precious gaming time re-logging onto the game! I am spending half of my gaming time now just posting this!

I am hoping that everyone posts to this thread who has this problem and maybe, just maybe it will get some attention. After all what is the point of having this forum Category if NO ONE from STO will even acknowledge the problem, let alone fix it.

So can I here from a DEV on this issue? Or will it remain quiet like so many other posts asking for bug fix threads.

    I get kicked to the log-in screen fairly regularly when changing characters, and sometimes while loading new zones. Not sure if it's the same issue, but I have a hunch that it is.

    I have the same problem like you, keep getting kicked out, i am frustrate playing this game, over the years, i keep losing items from their so call "update".

    I wished another company buy over their star trek's IP, this game don't even feel like an open world mmo rpg. The only good thing is their storyline, but wherever i play finished a part of the plot session storyline, when there is an "update" to the database, i will lost item i earned and the story plot had never completed.

    Keep getting kicked out when transferring maps, (server not responding, couldn't find corresponding entity) or words to that effect. Been slowly leveling up a new KDF character through storyline and haven't even bothered attempting any tfo's at the moment.
    I wish the devs would do something to try and fix this, or at least acknowledge that it's an issue they are currently looking in to, STO when it works right is an absolutely incredible game, when it doesn't, well.........

    Finally a quick friendly note for the bean counters over at Cryptic. If it's a server farm or validation issue, the general rule is that you get what you pay for. Please don't cheap out on us in regards to the servers.

    sorry to hear that bonzai, although the rest of the comments arent specifically same problem , i have their issue too, this year been disconnect after disconnect on loading screens/login to game barely on launcher/ or generally map changings. bothersome but i got a long nerve for now. :) i even tried all their proposed things from clearing dns and rebooting things and whatsoever, still same occurs. i fairly start to believe it is not my end if i see these kind of messages^

    Same here... after many attempts I was able to log, I tried a TFO and it got stuck at loading...

    @ambassadorkael#6946 do you read us? This is extremely frustrating.

    Did you turn off On Demand Patching, turn on Force Verify in the Options part of the STO launcher, and then patch? Also, if you want to tag the CM please describe the problem and don't just say what you just said.

    I have been getting map transfer fails all week. Whether it be STF's or episodes. This is on a clean install on a new nvme ssd drive.
