Is that a T6 Kar'Fi for winter wonderland?

The new Winter wonderland ship looks a lot like the Kar'Fi

I am legit shocked that one of the last Klingons ships lacking a T6 version is finally getting one... Now if only we could get the T6 Dyson Destroyers.

    now all I need is for the Fek'Ihri race to be released in the KDF, to be able to use all these Fek'Ihris ships in total lore lol

    I was honestly hoping for a Fek'lhri science vessel, Bunsen Burner, but this will do :wink:

    I hope they make Dominion versions to throw into the bundle if they T6 the Dyson Destroyers.

    As someone who plays a lot the T5U, yes it does look a lot like a modernized version of Kar'fi. Since a winter reward it will be for all, and that is a good thing I guess. Still I find it funny Sol to be full of Kar'fi ships and Qo'nos of the new Fed Science Destroyer

    Looking forward to playing with that Carrier. Just hope it doesn't have the common Hangar Pet bugs. You would think with the focus on carriers at the moment the devs would have done something about the mass amount of bugs and broken Hangar Pets.

    Bar the expected bugs its great to see so much Carrier focus.

    The really big question is what sort of console does it have? If it's the same as the old Kar'Fi console but with some small enhancements to make it 'T6', will it at least be usable on other Fek'Ihri ships? Ideally, it would synergize with the consoles from the other Fek'Ihri ships and give SET BONUSES.

    Hope it's as interesting and capable as the Kar'fi was back in the day. 4 fore 3 aft weapons carrier with Science Commander, along with a Lt. Comm Tac backing it up was rather nice back in the day. 4/3 is still fairly unique for a Science Commander carrier (closest lately has been the Jem'Hadar Vanguard Carrier with 4/2,) but something extra interesting to give it a bit more pop now that Lt. Comm Tac is not that out of place on Sci Carriers anymore would be highly welcome.

    It is rather unprecedented, but in the case of the Kar'Fi the relatively nimble ship handling is so incredibly different from the ponderous D'Deridex-like movement of the Fe'Rang that they are not at all alike despite both being two-bay carriers. And Kar'Fi has a more science-oriented seating arrangement so it is kind of like getting a science ship (or as close as the Klingons (and Romulans) used to get without going to the c-store anyway).

    Hopefully this "Gok'tad" carries on the Kar'Fi orientation and handling.

    Tough little ship.
    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    I am ready, Kar'Fi flyer 99% of the time nothing has gotten me out of it except for the odd trait or two from the other ships. Then right back to my ole girl :D

    While Fekhiri designs aren't my thing, I have to complement Cryptic again for their awesome artwork with this. The color patterns, lighting, shapes, fine detail, and the way it all comes together at least from that one picture, really nice stuff!

    That Gok'tad does look good.

    I just hope it is distinct enough from last year's Fe'rang, if not it might seem like a simple filler ship with a ncie paint-job.

    Did I missread it stating new kit modules & new training manuals but it only described the modules it seemed?

    I'm usually not for non-combat pets but dang that St. Bernard looks good, what a wasted opportunity to make it a combat-pet that only heals though!

    The training manuals are probably the same abilities as the kit modules. They've done that before.

    It is surprising that a playable version of the K'Norr - or, for that matter, the Fer'Jai - hasn't shown up already. That aside, one does wonder if introduced alongside this new ship will be S'Kul squadrons and/or a K'Norr hangar... which, in turn, makes me wonder when the rest of the squadrons will show up.

    Yea an escort would be nice. I suppose this is the last Fek'lhri ship we are getting since they usually do 2 of the same T6 ships, like Breen

    That K'Norr would've been a mean little escort I'm sure. I like the almost simpler look of that Fer'Jai Frigate too. I like the Fe'rang but the Drek'Hi definitely looks more dreadnought-ish if Cryptic is going to toss-out another carrier with this new Kar'Fi. If not brand new ships perhaps complimenting ship-skins in the future.

    Call me a heretic if you must, but I think this version 2.0 of the Fek'Ihri design asthetic is major improvement over the original sure it kind of worked ehen it was made but compared to these new ships it seems bland and generic.

    Shame that this wasn't kept as KDF only but no surprise that it became cross faction during the year of the klingon, presumably this will allow feds to unlock the fer'jai pets. If that was the reasoning why not release a fer'jai sci/scout/escort and have that unlock the pet instead of doubling down on carriers.

    Maybe we'll finally be seeing a nova come along next year as it's one of the other long overdue for a t6 variant.

    Ever since the Breen and Vaadwaur and Bajoran event ships, all event ships have been rather meh in my opinion. I feel like they should implement a console or a better trait that would be meta for these EVENT reward
