Did STO just announced a Luna T6 maybe?

    After the Lower Decks season finale, a T6 Luna is all but a guarantee.

    Cryptic has mentioned that CBS sends them big folders full of stuff from the upcoming shows. Though they don't always provide the context for what the stuff is.

    Kael mentioned a week or two ago that CBS sent them a big folder full of stuff from Discovery S3, including a lot of ships. and Al Rivera has mentioned that CBS has given him and Andre Emmerson some level of spoilers(saying that CBS had told them who the Red angel was beforehand)

    Its very likely they know about the Titan appearance for several weeks now.

    That isn't what surprises me. Have we seen a Cerritos model yet? Or the other Miranda-esque one? There is some Klingon ship too, but we haven't seen game models for any of those yet, as far as I'm aware. But a Luna model? That's already done.

    Maybe it was easier given there is already a Luna in game, but still, I didn't expect it as the first STLD show ship.

    If it is, it's been a long time coming and very welcome to many people. Including me, even if I have to wait for it to drop onto the list that I can use my free coupon with.
    Now a LTS and loving it.
    Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
    I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything. :D

    The Luna was one of my favorite T5 sci ships. And she is in desperate need of a quality pass. A T6 wouldn't hurt either, although I admit it is a bit of a slap in the face for the Nova.

    Mandatory "what's a Nova?" and "what's a Rhode Island?"

    So will this nice new Luna be in a Promo pack, Mudd's market, or a lockbox?

    Also wonder how many federation ships they can release in rapid succession.

    I'm amazed and happy to see this, but absolutely dreading finding out what method they plan to implement it after the Inquiry. I miss the days of just looking forward to new 25th skin T6 ships that were regularly available, or the Akira and Nebula packs before recently.

    How fast does it take them to turn something like that around? They probably just learned of it on the show this week like everyone else. Also, I'd be on board for a jazz themed warp jump.

    So if there is gonna be a T6 Luna, any guesses what its spec would be??? I know the usual "go to's" are Command and Intel but ugh, I think those are kinda saturated as specs to begin with.
    Seeing as how the basic Luna is a, what, Recon Science Vessel, maybe.... Pilot????

    Hm, for that matter, has any discussion popped up on the Parliament class yet? "Large scale engineering operations" screams Miracle Worker spec to me, so I imagine an Engine version of an Intrepid class, they are both kinda smaller ships.


    I can't imagine a California class would be a T6 ship and get a spec, they're just not..... Like That, but hm. Could be a T5 light cruiser with a Commander Universal slot? So it can kinda be anything? California classes seem multi-role to begin with.

    Why would any new ship be anything other than T6? T6 is the default ship level, usable from tutorial to end game. The other tiers simply aren't a thing any more, save for 'freighters' maybe.

    It'd really be a slap to make a new hero ship virtually unusable in the game except for making a few screenshots...

    Well given the show's premise I think that applying the "hero" label to the Cerritos may be overstating it. :p

    That said, they could always pull a Miranda/Reliant: Make the California a new T1 ship and have an updated Cerritos-class at T6, maybe as a Miracle Worker ship or something.

    I get it, but gameplay wise T1 ships are really superflous. Yes, a Cali could be T1 and Parli the T6 version, but really just make both T6 which you can use after the tutorial.

    If we begin to apply perceived ship strength logic to STOs tiers you can throw everything out. If T6 is strongest/most advanced, why are there effectively museum pieces at T6 and brand new ships at T4? 😂

    Word is that is being marketed as "T6 Lunar Nova"
    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
