I dare you to release a Klingon only ship, thats actually good, that is not available in any way to star fleet aligned players. The first thing you did after announcing the year of Klingon was release some star fleet only ships lol.
Wrong, it was a star fleet ship, cant remember the exact one but remember thinking it must be a joke. And even if it was a cross faction ship from a box, thats not kling only is it.
The first ship we got was the cross faction Ba'ul ship
The op clearly said "I dare you to release a Klingon only ship".... so you talking about a CROSS FACTION ship is irrelevant, way to miss the point.
They have not released a KLINGON ONLY ship. In fact they've just added the new federation only 'inquiry class' battlecruiser to the promotional boxes. Better yet, they're going to release another federation only bundle called nebula bundle (https://www.arcgames.com/en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/11478413-ships-of-the-line:-nebula-bundle!) .

Dude... calm down.
Just because it is the "Year of Klingon" doesn't mean an absolute dead stop to anything that isn't Klingon. It just means we've got a more Klingon focused year.
Several canon Klingon ships got remodeled and reskinned, we got the new Klingon tutorial, revamps to old Klingon only missions, the current Klingon centric story arc, more customization options for Klingon characters, including a canon TNG style outfit...
The guy who played GOWRON in TNG and DS9, crazy eyes and all...
And guess what? That carrier bundle with the Klingon carrier? A ship that KDF players have been asking/begging/demanding ever since the Fed Jupiter carrier. A T6 Vo'Quv.
And its not over.
Odds are that there will be a Klingon Legendary bundle in the pipe, more revamps, more additions...
Everything you're complaining about over a ship... is over something that you have to pay for. Meanwhile Klingons got quite a few thingsFOR FREE.
With all due respect... you're looking for a fight, and using the same copy/paste arguments some doomsayers have used to rant about how its not the Year of Klingon because something non Klingon only was brought in.
Im not looking for a fight, im just saying that it seems like lip service, I understand fed side is full of whales that dont want to miss out and Im not trying to deny cryptic their revenue, but just dont say its year of Klingon and then do nothing significant.

What Klingon Only ship should they add then?
I am the first in line to put Cryptic to the fire, but lets be honest here.. they have to work with the material given and Star Trek is told mostly from a Federation Perspective. Most of the ships shown on screen are Federation Ships with the other factions making little more then 'cameo appearances,' so obviously there is far more material to draw from for Feds.
Which KDF only ship do you think should be added to the game? Discovery is the most recent (non animated) series and all of the ships from that show have been added. So what's missing?
YOK = WIP. Until it's actually over (approximately 6/30/21) we can't really judge how much was or wasn't included. That said, here are my predictions of what's to come:
*At least 2 more episodes resolving the J'Ula story
*Part of the resolution of the story is that her crew is allowed to join the KDF and players are then allowed to create Disco Klingon characters.
*Klingon coats
*A Klingon Legendary Bundle
*Several more KDF-exclusive episodes get revamped
So hey; those are all good things to look forward to. And maybe there will be one or two additional items too.
I'm pretty sure they confirmed all the KDF specific missions will get revamped. P1 covered the tutorial and Empire arcs, so P2 will cover the Warzone and Fek'ihri arcs most likely.
They have previously talked about how the big attack on the Federation in the Warzone arc will be a much bigger battle.
Cool, I hope those plans work out. Look forward to replying them after they are updated
Yep you are right I think. Friend or Foe wasn’t substantialy updated. But that is the end of Empire Arc. I hope Warzone gets some killer cutscenes—Bringing down the House is still awesome as is, though!

It seems to me that some were expecting a 'Legacy of Romulus' for the Klingons. Which is by no means what they said we were going to get.
I have to agree with you. Either they were expecting that, or are deciding to riot because they knew it wasn't going to be and are acting outraged that it isn't. Which I honestly wouldn't be surprised by with some of the rage posters as the arguments never make sense. Its just pure rage for the sake of rage. At least from my perspective.
I just... I don't understand what their deal is when they do that either. It feels like all they want is to see the world burn. Doesn't matter over what, just... burn.

I should probably lock this thread since it comes off as a rant type of thread. However given your low post count I am giving you benefit of the doubt for now. Kael himself already told us what Year of Klingon meant. It means there will be a year long story focused on the Klingons and this year will be primarily focused on the Klingons. It does not mean there is going to be a dead stop to anything that isn't Klingon, nor does it mean other factions will cease to exist or get items. It simply means those factions are not the primary focus. As pointed out to you above, you are factually incorrect. somtaawkhr was kind enough to fetch the articles for you to show what they have done so far. We're also barely even 3 months into this so far with more content and ships on the way.
I guarantee you for one they're going to do a KDF Legendary Pack. They made far too much on the Fed variant not to do one for KDF. If they passed up a KDF Legendary, I will eat my hat. It takes time to get stuff together, which I know isn't what you want to hear but I'm not going to lie to you either. The Inquiry was added because it was a highly requested ship from Picard, and the Lower Decks doffs were done as a promo to the new series. You're really reading way too much into this.

The subject is extremely polarizing, and we see a lot of flamethrowers come out. Especially when their counter argument to actual evidence provided is to just double down on their statement as if that evidence is false or claims they were lied to by said evidence because X happened afterwords.

I agree. I mean they already updated several KDF ship models. There is no way in heck that they would do that and the not sell them.
The Inquiry was added because it was a highly requested ship from Picard,
It was? I guess I missed that, as most of the feedback I saw about that ship after the episode it appeared it was how bad it looked. That said, I don't think a ship has to be 'highly requested' for them to make it. Half of the Klingon discovery ships were not 'highly requested', but rather they were simply new designs and thus new marketable items. And there is nothing wrong with that!
Nobody is saying that they should ignore others factions and ONLY do KDF stuff during the YoK. Stop strawmaning. They did however release a fed only event or promo...whatever you want to call the LD thing. They released a fed only promo ship with an OP trait that the KDF has NO ACCESS to and finally a fed only bundle...all in the first 3 months of the YoK. That is an awful lot of feddie bear ONLY content we so far...including a must have for DPS chaser that is feddie bear only. That hardly sounds like a KDF focus either. If a KDF legendary pack is on it's way...why no announcement? Seriously you feddie bear can't see why some KDF fans are feeling a bit lied to here? REALLY? If all we are getting is some storyline as some claim, than their marketing has some explaining to do.
I would take you more seriously if you would stop calling the Federation side, feddie bears. Stop being so immature, coldnapalm. Star Trek is based on the Federation not the Klingons, Romulans, Jem'Hadar, or any other faction so of course a lot of the focus is on the Federation in-game and they get the majority of content. Yes, there are people who want them to ignore the Federation and only do KDF during YoK, they are present in this thread. No, you have not been lied to about the Year of Klingon which is not done yet. We have only had Part 1 so far and more to come. It is not just a storyline, there are revamps of the early Klingon missions, assets, and tailor options and even those are not all the way done. Finally, they are not going to announce a KDF Legendary Pack until it is ready to be announced and is finished.

The only hint to the original Legendary ship pack we got was them doing one of the roadmaps saying "ships you've been waiting for" and They didn't tease it until they were closer to the anniversary.
KDF Legendary ships, if they're being worked on now, wouldn't even be hinted at until they were ready to release them, and that would mean that they'd only start work on them after they got everything else squared away for the year and the upcoming anniversary that they plan to release. This would include any ships coming down the pipeline for the Fall lock box (you know its bound), The Winter event ship

Should have given the Qoj the BortaS BIr parts as an option, since they are pretty much the same model with some variation.

Just the tutorial. Empire looks better because of the new character models.

I guess you missed all the "they lied to us", "The Year of Klingon is over", and "how dare they do X during the Year of Klingon" rants.
