Yeah, I finally saw that on Facebook. Great. The events are still happening - like that even matters if we have no idea WHEN THEY START. "This is a visual glitch." NO, this is a game breaking problem. Effectively, we can't do any of the event (except the daily, which isn't scheduled).

This is/was by no means a game-breaking problem. There was a workaround where you opened the Mission Journal and then closed it that caused the event tracker to show itself. If that did not work then press Esc and the summer event tracker would show.
Well it worked when I first logged on at Risa today, yet within 5-10m it again disappeared, at least on my Feresan KDF Sci Officer it has. Hopefully this hasn't bugged it again for my other characters.
Issue #2, I as below Hit ESC and my Feresan was able to get the Event schedule back, yet Dance off announced the first Dance Move, then silence he stopped speaking for no reason. Though I saw a few people reported this previously, seems he's not consistent, and I didn't change any OPTIONS either. Spoke first Dance move then hasn't said a thing while it ongoing. I also forced verified after the Event Schedule first disappeared below seeing the note below.

Star Trek Online:
On PC: Opening the Mission Journal will sometimes cause the timer to disappear. However, if it disapears, keep opening the Esc menu until it reappears. Hopefully a more permanent patch is resolved soon.
Thought I notice the time has returned to the correct time on the website, yesterday it was posting to a different time zone.
Arc Defender what a joke. Don't login for so long you have to put a pin in... security more like great way of keeping people from posting here.
Anyway, not sure if it was just another blip but I just switched instances after completing a mission and it returned.
Also, logging out of the game and coming back days later would most likely work but I guess they wouldn't suggest that.... Escape works? Surprised they didn't say Alt+F4

I did that repeatedly yesterday, it never worked. I opened/closed the journal for 5+ minutes and the event schedule NEVER came back. Did it perhaps work for others? I hope it did.
So for *ME* personally, this was game breaking.

And it would seem this same issue is back after being patched. I thought that having limited time to play would make me cherish my time in-game more. But really, with the issues the game has had for a while now, I can't say I actually miss it at all.

If this is what they call a fix. We will be lucky if the game still runs on their servers by the end of the year. :P
Doubt the game will collapse too many still give money for not fixing the game when they claim it is fixed they will still throw money at em for it. So i doubt the game will die that quick or ever.
I wonder if Tencent has any stake in Perfect World.
The most I've had to hit ESC was often 1-3x, though once I had to hit it like 7x or so times, still it comes back.
Not ideal, but it saves a lot of time.
I wound up with some extra time this morning and decided to spend it on Risa. The event schedule was MIA, so I tried this method to get it back. Perhaps I am doing it wrong, but after 5 minutes of hitting ESC, I simply gave up and logged out. I initially was pressing it rather quickly but after a couple minutes I became more slow and methodical until I just stopped altogether.
So while I could gripe that Cryptic can't seem to fix this issue, I'll simply say I'm glad at least some are having success with this workaround. As for me, I'll just find something else to do.

Thank you for the link! Since they didn't stop on this thread to mention it...

FED seems ok so far, but just tested 3 FED toons.
KDF side for me, it takes a roll over of what is happening to the next for it to actually populate, which is hit or miss for that happening.
