Dang, Covid has messed up my sense of time, I could swear it was only a fortnight ago we got one
Its really kind of sad we can tell time in sto via regularly scheduled whalebait ships rather than actual c-store ships and not bundles designed to ensure real money is spent rather than saving dilithium to convert (as only long time players could possibly buy the bundle via dilex) or an overpriced dump site for ships that used to go in the phoenix box
Needless to say, its a neutronium hard pass for me too
Im pretty sure the devs at this point just enjoy furiously beating off to lockboxes, while other games are making changes to them or outright removing them, you got the dev team here actively trying to cram them down our throat
all while killing off features in the game slowly.
I kinda just want an actual respectable company to pick up Star Trek Online 2 now.
one that doesnt focus on lootcrates and maybe actually fixes bugs and server lag and you know, important things.

They are not actively trying to cram them down our throats, you decide if you want to open them or not. This is not like the Star Wars Battlefront debacle. Also, I do not want another company to pick this up or create a STO 2 (which is a FCT by the way). They do fix bugs as seen in the patch notes as well as they do stealth fixes, server lag is on Akamai Technologies, and they also focus on important things, just not what you consider important. Also, why did you have to make the first sentence sexual? There was no need for that. Finally, still do not understand the furor over lockboxes. I have heard the arguments before and they still do not convince me to change my mind. If you want the La Sirena, go for it. If you don't, don't go for it.
Wow. Talk about tone-deaf. Look at what's going on in the world. You thought now was a good time to release yet another gamblebox?
It is not tone-deaf, it is part of their plans. They know what is going on in the world. If they didn't they would not have blog posts about it or the Medical Workers Salute Bundle in STO. They have jobs and it is expensive to live in Silicon Valley. Between server costs, employee pay, benefits, rent, food, etc, it is hard. It is especially hard right now with this novel coronavirus around wreaking havoc.
Another ship in RnD box wont be getting with the terrible drop rate. just like the locked boxes went thru 200 keys just to get 1 t6 ship. dont even bother save your money
You do not need to open lockboxes. Instead you can buy the ship you want on the exchange if it is available.
What no magic device that instantly fixes all damage to your ship with the power of your imagination? God picard was a trash show.
Your post has nothing to do with this ship coming to STO and all about your hatred of Star Trek: Picard. Please respond to what the post is about. Thanks.

OK, so next year for the 11th Anniversary, are we going to get 11 Ships. The 10 we got this year with the La Sirena added as the newest Legendary?

Two thoughts.
Lockbox ships would be more attractive if they were account unlocks.
Will this have the bridge interior from its show like the section 31 ship does?
Because then i hope the romlan and starfleet ships gonna see the ZEN store
You forgot /sarcasm. Pretty sure whenever a new romulan ship is released, it'll be thrown in a promo or lockbox. I mean, surely there's a rule of acquisition that states after starving out certain content for months the demand must be capitalized on.
Does it come with a magic repair wand from the '80s Supergirl movie?
Oh Helen Slater the perfect casting choice for the maid of might you deserved soo much better than what that movie was

Hello rubber banding my old friend, time to bounce around the battlezone again, where are all my bug reports going?, out of love with this game I am falling, As Cryptic fail to acknowledge a problem exists, Shakes an angry fist, And from Support all I'm hearing are the sounds of silence.

True, but that defeats the object of gamble boxes and thats precisely the point mentioned here - they're a tired old cash cow idea and heavily unfavourable.

.....for over a billion EC's.....I seen even lock box ships going for that, now......
While it is a nice enough ship, the trait and console seem mediocre, and it is a "hero" ship and one of the only recognizable ships from the Picard series, so it has "will be available for ZEN at some point" written all over it.
Cryptic doesn't seem to understand what ships should, or need to be, to make tail-chasing them worthwhile, even for moderate "whales".
I honestly don't really want that ship. Looks like something that would be put out for the Summer Event really which would be the only way I'd grab it to be honest.

Get the Forums Enhancement Extension!
And it can smack up against a wall at Cryptic Studios too!
Sorry but my money is not going to "soar" out of my wallet for a "chance" to get it.

If you have zero interest in anything Picard, why would you need free keys to open packs?
2xCommander boff seats? -2xheavy breathing-
Pilot ship? Okay now you are just trying to kill me. Thumbs up!
Spock to Kirk, as Kirk is about to hug him.

Same. I was never interested in the La Siera. I am hoping for a 3 pack of romulan ships (an eng carrier, a little zippy escort, and a sci ship).

Yea...well, least she looked cute in the costume.
Anyhow, never cared for this ship. The TOS-like Romulan on the otherhand....
