Well after a good run in the Khitomer I've finaly got the kit I need to make the Kor work and I'm back in the I.K.S Thunder Child (Khitomer will be my fed's main ship as I actualy can't stand fed designs).
Have to say I love darting around in my little bird, squishy as hell but fun.
You know I was one that liked really big ships up until I started getting them and realized, I'm more medium to small sized ship kind of guy. My Scott class MW is about the only really big ship I'll use moderately otherwise my Narenda for a medium size ship and crazy enough, my Daedalus class T6.
For small ships, I like either the Bajoran Interceptor or the Sommerville. USS Panther Modern does a great job of sneaking up on a target, then decloaking and unloading.

I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!

I've been using the Crit % consoles from the discovery stuff with fleet anti-proton on my Kor. In TFO's it's a thing of beauty, a bit over squishy in patrols. I was planning to get the Advanced light battlecruiser with the event T6 token as a cannon ship and when I get a fleet B'rell refit her as a torpedo sub.
I do think we need more Klingon BoP at T6, the more bug like varants are cool but only found at low tiers
Small, tough, manoeuvres well and hits hard - basically fun to fly all round, and it looks good too.
Any chance you know what the current smallest T6 is? I am guessing the Enterprise from the golden days of ST. But the Defiant is quite small, I might have to take a look and see what's Available for Rom. Not sure on the warbird I used my upgrade on the Blockade Runner. hmm
I haven't lined them all up, but I think the smallest is the Maquis Raider, it's really small. The TOS Enterprise is pretty small too, considerably smaller then the Discovery Enterprise.
My personal favorite small ship is the Earhart Strike Wing Escort.. I just really like the ship and have a lot of fun flying it using a DBB Phaser layout. My other favorites are the Andorian Kuthar and the T5U Fleet Patrol Escort.
My god, the Earhart is great!, sooo nimble, love it... i kind of love it when i got the Engle by chance, wanted to sell it, but i said, oh, well, let's give it a spin... and fell in love with it.
How small is the Aquarius Light Escort in comparison?

I like the Caitian escort, especially its dark hull material.
The Shran is another of my favourites.
I was also able to claim a T6 Miranda thanks to a promo a couple of weeks ago. That is a nice ship too, and I have been considering buying the Hernandez (I'm only holding off because I already have many science ships - but it looks definitely great).
I wish we could get a T6 version of the Goldfish Bowl, (formally known as https://sto.gamepedia.com/Olympic_Research_Science_Vessel )
I still think it's the best looking Science Vessel of all time, especially the Horizon variant
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

I don't know how big the new Defiant is, but it feels pretty small ("Size doesn't matter" anyway -- or so we're supposed to say). It's a frakkin' awesome ship, though. Due to some innovative thinking on my end (ahem), I was able to slot CSV3, FAW2, and TS3, and all down to global for perma-uptime, sans having to resort to A2B. I can tell you, that wee ship kicks some major TRIBBLE!
I'd love to see the build. Defiant is one of my favorite ships, though I like the valiant more than legendary Defiant

Depends on character. My main's favorite light is an fleet aquarius, the U.S.S. Prototype, where I typically test things, but it's fun to fly. my newer character that would be a kelvin more often, or a steamrunner if I'm feeling cannon-y.

Mark, I do thank you for that suggestion, but it's not the same. It doesn't have the transparent sphere, the "goldfish bowl", and it's all straight lines with no curves, like something built with one of those children's construction sets.
While I've migrated to the Khitomer I do love the Kor. Mine was mostly B'rel with the Kor hull and naceles. She's small, iconic and fun but too squishy for allot of the content with my lack of decent gear.
I can understand with how many terrible bop builds I've seen floating around especially from that one site. Anyways here are the traits that will help out Maquis Tactics, Evasion Specialist, Press the Advantage, Strike from the Shadows, Concealed repairs also one to choose instead of is pedal to the medal but those 5 listed first are my main bop traits I use. The only doff that is super important with this is that Emergency Conn Hologram officer. So when doing an ambush from cloak you'll want to use Reroute Reserves to Weapons, Omega pattern, and emr to engines this will have your weapons power at 125 the whole time and the drain coming from engine power. When Reroute Reserves to Weapons and emr to engines end you'll then use your evasive and then recloak to begin another attack. So all these traits pretty much keep your damage up but also make you extremely hard to hit so you won't need to worry about any squishy problems as long as you keep moving it will take incredibly high accuracy for anything to actually hit you. Also if you are getting hit by stuff that trait from the anniversary hybrid ship that trait is really handy to replace one of those with being that you are getting shield heals on kills of enemies and also increases damage based on how much shielding you are depleted by if I remember right. Also the today is a good day to die space trait that lets you use go down fighting at any health amount and fly her apart mixed in with all of this just adds more insane damage to it plus more speed. So if you practice with all of this even with really crappy gear you'll do fine.
Last thing with that discovery death glider bop is insane with all the above mentioned and the best stuff I found to use was colony space gear with coalition disruptors or crafted snare ones off the exchange so it can be incredibly cheap to get it working just depends on the level of insanity you want to put into it. Also its great to pass by your target before your cannon animation gets to it. Which I have sometimes been absent minded not realizing I've vaporized something and looking all around for where it went too because it didn't get hit before I was 10km away from the target. The last lastly thing though been wanting Cryptic to create the first ever heavy bop since there was never a tier 5 one the one we did have is only a tier 4. So its like the only kind of ship missing from our ship line now to be completely on par with every thing else in the game and then hope its not put behind a paywall.
I just looked over the fidget spinner stats again, If I could ever afford said jellyfish, it would probably be my absolute fave Science vessel.
Have to admit, I'm kinda tempted by it myself although if am honest, more for the Console than the ship itself; that console must be amazing on high-EPG/Control builds!
Tested that DSP console and found it somewhat lacking.

Maquis Raider is my favorite. A tiny fast and maneuverable miracle worker ship
Second is the section 31 not-a-scout-ship. I have it loaded out for super intel (either mode I'm in I have 7 intel powers slotted) and minimum threat generation.

Aquarius Type: Light Cruiser (The only Aquarius from the shows/movies)
Length: 424m
Width: 164m
Height: 87m
Crew Compliment: 320
Max warp: 9.975

Speed:
cruising speed: Warp 6
maximum speed: Warp 9.2
emergency speed: Warp 9.85 (for 8 hours)
Dimensions:
height: 20 meters
width: 64 meters (docked), 74.5 (in flight)

Maquis Raider(as far as I can find such things on it)

I mean these are roughly half the size of the Aquarius or Maquis. They're going to range in size something like
Length: 15-30m
Width: Shuttle 10-15m. Fighters, 20-30m(wing span)
Height: 15-20m.
This is just a rough estimate. Give they're varied sizes for whatever they're used for.
In loose order:
Shuk-din
Bajoran Interceptor
Breen Plesh Tral
Shran / Earhart

Leveled the legendary defiant, but to be honest i prefer the science pilot escort

The Romulan variant will probably perform better, but i haven't gotten my hands on that one yet.

Isn't that console https://sto.gamepedia.com/Console_-_Universal_-_Eject_Red_Matter more of a rehash of this console?
