Fantastic, I just did this "mostly" on one Toon, and after 40 mins of:
Going through every Zen Ship Tab Tier to Claim a Box of each ship
Going through the Dill Reclaim Ship Tab to Claim a Box of each ship
Going through the Event Reclaim Store Tab to Claim a Box of each ship
Then having to open each box, up to my Ship Capacity
Then select each ship in Mange to dismiss them & have to type the unique ship name, in stead of just a double confirm
Then continue to open remaining ships... rinse & repeat for 30 mins...
Yea I did not even bother to open more ships on any of my other alts for this reason.
Notices some ships just Claim with no box, some give 1 box, some are in bundles..
Please sort them out, such as the Multi-Mission, among others
Yes, we know how it worked. That's why it was changed.
I do not see any 'various reasons' why the rest of those ships dont make the cut - it seems nonsensical to exclude them.
Otherwise this is a very welcome improvement.
You wouldn't see them since "various reasons" are on the back end, so it's not nonsensical.

While convenient, what if I don't want my admiralty ships list cluttered up by Romulan veQ?
The Scorpion fighter claimed for me on my KDF, so apparently it sometimes works (near the middle of the list).
Also, as you can see, event ships are claimed too.
Wait, alts automatically get admiralty ships? Or is that a function of the fact that they can also claim account-wide real ships that grant admiralty ships?

Yes, alts get ships that are normally available to them. You just need to log-in and bring up the admiralty menu.
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.

But it's only the ones that are purchased account-wide, right? An alt doesn't get *every* admiralty ship you've ever unlocked?

Why would you even think that?
All this is, is an auto-clicker for admiralty collection. It's not in any way different from manually claiming each ship from the C-store/event store to get the card, it's just one click instead of thousands.
Only difference is a few ships don't work, so you still have to claim them from the store manually.
Got the Scorpion Fighter as well. You don't even have to go to the Ship Selector. Just open up your Admiralty Tab and they flow like manna from Heaven. A few times it was so quick I couldn't get the before Admiralty numbers, but most of the times I was fast enough.
On my Discovery Character that I had gone through all the claiming months ago, I picked up the Suliban Silik Flight Deck Assault Carrier, which must have been one I missed. All in all, very nice.

Thank you for your hard works devs. I can understand just how much work this would have been to program, internally test and everything else. Keep up the awersome work.

Parts of the way the announcement were worded made it seem like this was something new, rather than a one-click version of something old.

Well its just because you get other ship triad releases in similar if not the same format as the flagships for example. Why the difference? I believe the backend might have some interesting code entanglements that may count as a reason not to sort out. Activate 'emergency power to software engineer III'
I once claimed all my ships on ONE character...after recovering from the carpal tunnel like effects, I vowed...NEVER AGAIN...
So, on behalf of the rest of my Alt characters...THANK YOU to the Cryptic Dev team.

Now if there were to eliminate the need to ask for fed or kdf for grouping and remove the dilithium refinement cap from characters that have been immensely upgraded as far as how much they have put into their gear and amount of specialization points. I know when it was first launched it was completely justified about the cap per day but now of days its like okay yeah I've played my main character here a lot but I gotta wait a year for what I have played to actually become available to refine and spend it. Just a couple of suggestions here for some major QoL love that needs to happen

Refine limit will never change. People have been asking for years, trying to justify it in every imaginable way.
If they even raised the cap a little, the exchange market would crash again. Basically, it would remain at 500 dil per Zen forever, assuming there were even any zen sellers. Plus, the whales have hundreds of millions of ore on top of you, probably billions.
So pretty much the second after the cap is removed, zen will forever be at 500:1, hurting the entire game economy more than it could ever help.
Better people than I have explained it in more detail, it's all over reddit, and probably here.
Any explanation of the Bortasqu', Odyssey, and Vesta lines not being claimable? T5 Jem and Galor makes sense, as they're not claimable via the shipyard directly. The Steamrunner T1 and T5 seems to be a weird hack to get in the shipyard, with it saying it requires a token. Other than Bortasqu', Odyssey, and Vesta being older three-packs, not sure why'd they'd be an issue.
I'm assuming those ships coming in boxes into your inventory, rather than right into your shipyard. Hopefully that gets sorted at some point.
all of the initial wave of romulan ships released come in boxes too, as do all of the derpa rising ops pack ships, yet they all auto-claim fine, so i don't think that's it
A normie goes "Oh, what's this?"
An otaku goes "UwU, what's this?"
A furry goes "OwO, what's this?"
A werewolf goes "Awoo, what's this?"
"It's nothing personal, I just don't feel like I've gotten to know a person until I've sniffed their crotch." "We said 'no' to Mr. Curiosity. We're not home. Curiosity is not welcome, it is not to be invited in. Curiosity...is bad. It gets you in trouble, it gets you killed, and more importantly...it makes you poor!"
Passion and Serenity are one.
I gain power by understanding both.
In the chaos of their battle, I bring order.
I am a shadow, darkness born from light.
The Force is united within me.
Well I sent all my Characters through this. I know there will be a few missing ships here and there.
What it does graphically show is the discrepancy in ship numbers between the KDF and Federation. All my Romulan Characters and my Jem'Hader Character are Federation aligned. I have all the Event Ships Account Unlocked. I own every ship in the C-Store except one Klingon Ship that I have been waiting to escape from the New Tab. i have all the Epic Admiralty Cards on all Characters.
Now, given the above, all Federation and Federation-aligned Characters have around 240 Admiralty Cards give or take. KDF Characters have around 185 Admiralty Cards.

OK dumb question from senile old man, ship selector? is that the manage ship or the person you buy ships from or is there someone special hiding in a dark corner? Do I need to click on something? If it is the regular dudes then I've gone there and I did not get anything,
Actually, it is the person who you pick which one of your ships you want to equip. But, this auto claiming will happen even if you open up your Admiralty menu or just about any menu.

there are a few not listed that do not auto give there cards. the type f shuttle also the support craft from the vulcan ship.
If this is do to them being unlocked for having the ships and not a direct purchase or that they are listed as ec yet the cost is 0 i have no ideal.
I do like the ideal of this and its great to make sure to snag the extra event ships and new purchases for the alts. How ever with out it also having a way to also get the consoles from these ships i still need to go thru the same as before with get ship pull console toss ship.
so this for all intents saves me no time if i cant get the consoles by them self.

I think pretty much *everything* ship-related will trigger it (which is more than one may think).

Sounds like you want to be playing a UI clicky game and not an MMO.

Claiming admiralty was one of the more un-fun things about leveling a new character.

Then live with it.
Sorry, but your nonsensical desire shouldn't trump the convenience of the entire player base.
This addition is fantastic!
