Considering that the Anniversary Legendary Ship Bundle is based on the Hero Ships of Star Trek, which are, by the nature of the TV shows and movies are Starfleet (human) focused, what about another Anniversary Legendary Ship Bundle that dealt with the corresponding KDF/Romulan/Dominion ships that the Hero Ships had battled (which would fit in with the non-Starfleet factions)?
It's easier to fill out a KDF bundle by itself, considering that there have been far more ships designed for the Klingons than any other opposing faction to Starfleet. The majority of ships the Romulans in game was designed by Cryptic, and the Dominion only had one show that they were featured in. Between the (currently) three playable factions, the Klingons have enough ships for a large bundle, with the Romulans and Dominion grouped together maybe in another bundle.
Of course there are other factions, such as the Borg, Son'a, Terran Empire, Gorn, etc.
The enemy ships in the second part of the Featured Anniversary Episode could be part of the bundle, but it lacks Klingon and Dominion ships. So we'd have to fill in the blanks.
Anyways, it would be nice if there was an Anniversary Legendary Adversary Ship Bundle.
Annorax vs. Voyager (Intrepid-Class) Promo
I would've said Borg Sphere, but let's save that for Borg Collective Bundle since it's currently not a playable ship, so we can swap it for Scimitar vs. Enterprise-E (Sovereign-Class) C-Store
Bortasqu' vs. Enterprise-F (Odyssey-Class) C-Store
Styx Dreadnaught vs. Discovery (Crossfield-Class) T6 Lockbox
Section 31Control Vessel or (Disco) vs. Enterprise (Constitution-Class; Disco) T6 Lockbox
D-7 Battlecruiser (Klingon)/Bird of Prey (aka T'Liss Warbird) (Romulan) (TOS) vs. Enterprise (Constitution-Class; TOS) Promo
vs. Enterprise (Constitution-Class; Kelvin) T6 Lockbox
Jem'Hadar Strike/Recon (the 'bug ship') Ship vs. Defiant (Defiant-Class) Promo
Raptor (Klingon)/T'Varo (Rom) vs. Enterprise (NX-01) C-Store
D'Deridex Warbird/ vs. Enterprise (Galaxy-Class) C-Store
Just a suggestion, and trying to match (could use some tweaking) the number of C-Store, Lockbox and Promo Box items.
"D-7 Battlecruiser (Klingon)/Bird of Prey (aka T'Liss Warbird) (Romulan) (TOS) vs. Enterprise (Constitution-Class; TOS) Promo"
These. They need to free these ships up or I will spend no Zen before that time. They are such an unjust, pain the TRIBBLE to get, but fun to play.
I like how you did a good deal of "This for that" matching. It looks pretty good though, like you said, it could use some tweaking. It would probably take a 3 faction spreadsheet to really nail it, lol. Nice ideas!
There are a lot of good options(some are fed counterparts like the rest of the iconic ship pack that contained galaxy, negh'var t6 and d'deridex t6) but I dont want to get my hopes up - it will only increase the feeling of disappointment and if they let us without a ship like that in a 10th anniversary we are probably head to a "winter" for KDF/JH ship making. I think(and hope) Romulans will do get some ships at least due to Picard show.
I know its not going to happen, because we simply dont matter and cryptic finds its a better investment making Fed ships. As far as I understand they could care less even if we quit altogether, even if many of us had spent a lot on this game
I mean if talking hero ships as in.. prominent ships we have them in ships like the Scimitar and Donatra's Valdore. There's a host of D'deridex warbirds like Tomalaks when we first encounter TNG Romulans or one of the many from DS9 that could be more tactical than engineering based. even an updated T6 T'liss with some cloaky shenanigans for balance of terror.
as for Klingons the movies have a few BoPs as well as the Rotarran to draw inspiration from, we had vor'chas as well like K'mpecs.
Sure they didnt get a ton of screen time.. but there was some prominent ships in the universe
thing is, all those ships you lsited, you don't even know their names
if they did a romulan or klingon legends packs it'd just be varients of ships, with some fake history, I doubt it'd be really worth it.

What I could see for KDF and Romulan Legendaries...
TOS D7 (maybe based on the ones commanded by Kor, Kang, or Koloth) with a special Qo'nos 1 skin?
DSC D7 Qo'nos 1 (L'Rell's ship)
TMP BoP (Chang's BoP)
K'mpek's Vor'cha
IKS Rotarran
Gowron's Negh'Var
TOS BoP (Balance of Terror)
TNG D'Deridex (Lets make it Tomalok's ship)
IRW Valdore (Donatra's ship)
Scimitar
Really can't do anything for the Jem'Hadar except maybe make a third T6 Bugship Variant.
As far as "legendary" klingon or romulan ships, I'd say we got the T'liss, D-7, B'rel, Vor'cha and the D'Deridex. Rest really don't IMHO count as legendary even if they're prominent/popular.
The Negh'var is borderline but I'd say it just missed the mark for me and the K'tinga is so close to the D-7 in design that it's not really that iconic/legendary by itself so much as it's an update for the D-7 (kind of like the refit connie is to the TOS connie).
Vor'cha gets the spot due to being the "klingon Cruiser" for most of TNG (essentially in TNG when you saw a klingon warship that wasn't a bird of prey it was a Vor'cha) or the rest I don't feel I need to explain why I'd consider them legendary.

Sadly yes ships like Changs and the Duros sisters BoPs didn't get names but theres over 10 BoPs that are named besides the Rotarran and Bounty. Tomlak's DD and the original T'liss from balance of terror where not named either
They'd be as worth it as any other random starfleet vessel that appeared on screen for maybe 5 minutes and had a name slapped on it.
Doesn't matter...we ain't gonna get one. The big 10 year event is for feddie bears only.
Well yes as unfortunate as that is, but at the same time I'd still be upset if they tossed in 1 Rom and 1 KDF ship into the bundle because I don't wanna pay that price tag for a single ship I want.. would much rather see something like this where theres some KDF ships and another pack with some Rom ships and another pack with some Dom ships so I don't need to buy a bunch of starfleet vessels.
Doesn't have to be many.. 2 or 3 would be awesome.. even just 1 at this point :S
10 ships? Are there even 10 recurring KDF/RSE ships in the shows?

D7 (DSC). No canon variants (not really a recurring ship but added because the 2250s Conni is in the hero pack).
KT Warbird. No canon variants (not really a recurring ship but added because the KT Conni is in the hero pack).
I wouldn't have thought any of the ENT or DSC Klingon ships appeared on their own enough due to more variety other than both eras BoP.
D7 (TOS/TAS). Romulan paint patterns.
T'Liss. No canon variants unless the PIC version is different.
D'Deradex. No canon variants.
Mogi. Already have the brown version.
Scimitar. No canon variants.
I've counted 11(or 13) but I really don't think the Negh'Var, Mogi, Scimitar, and probably the 2250s D7 and KT Warbird count. hell, the T'liss has appeared once to date and I only added it because the T'Varo appears more than once and they share a skin.
Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though. JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

Why the need for canon variants?
Ross is a ship from a Star Trek RPG on Twitch
Sovereign is based on a what if the Enterprise E had survived Nemesis
Defiant just has some nose art slapped on that and that warrants pilot spec
NX variants were just cooked up by Cryptic
Odyssey is entirely made up by Cryptic
Kelvin Connie - based on an actual on screen appearance
So so far only 1 of the 6 revealed ships is based on something canon, but I don't recall the movie stating it's any kind of actual upgrade and was most likely done just to fix the proportions of the ship. So why the need to hold the Roms/Klings to actual variants to make them? I don't get Federation players obsession with holding Rom/KDF to a higher standard than Starfleet ships, you can get a vessel like the USS Odyssey who's only contribution was getting Worf'ed by the Jem'Hadar but they'll come up with a T6 variant of the Galaxy for it but when it's Rom/KDF nerp it has to be a real variant to make it
Why not look at the D'deridexs from DS9 with their stronger cloaks modified for fighting the Obsidian Order and go intel/more tac seating. Or look at the Rotarran which came through a lot of combat it should of died at and slap MW on it.
There's things these ships did in their appearances that someone with a bit of creativity could go ok and design a new version of them just like they are doing for the Federation in this bundle
Doesn't matter...we ain't gonna get one. The big 10 year event is for feddie bears only.
I tend to, sadly, agree. Great for Fed centralized players, but a big fat zilch for other factions looks like Cryptic is just being dismissive.
Which also bring to mind what Al Rivera had said about wanting to make a portion of the playerbase that was very unhappy, happier.
For me the best part of this 10th anniversary though, was easiest the 2 episodes, followed by the TFO. Everything else was either insignificant or a slight/major miss.
As I understand we get an indirect message from cryptic, either play as it is, move to federation faction side or quit as we dont want to dedicate time and resources on you
A practical problem is that there simply aren't enough players in the KDF faction to support development of such a product. The Anniversary Infographics from back in the day show the breakdown is something like 68% Fed, 20% Klingon, 12% Romulan.
Despite the fact that Klingons and Romulans have quite good missions, story and ship selections (not as good as Feds, but pretty good), players have just never flocked to them they way they do to Federation.
Personally I would love to see a bundle of non-Fed Hero ships, but to reach saleable numbers it would likely have to be designed as an 'Any faction/cross-faction' bundle.

Back in the day I don't believe warbirds were yet accessible to Feds and KDF, now they are, meaning that figure encompasses 100% of the player base.
The low count also did not stop them from making Jem'Hadar as a fraction.
Many lockbox, lobi, promo box ships aren't federation ships, but they sell enough that they keep making them. Starship traits, console packs sell enough and even have their own dedicated lobi store bundles.
It'd be a safe guess the artwork cost of designing a ship, adding some tweaked stats, console special effects and attributes is way less than inviting a big star to do voice overs, or even the amount of effort and time to create new missions.

Why would they? They dont even bother to correct bugs reported multiple times from "ancient" times and mind you on things that work perfectly on my single Fed toon.
Also they see the bias on content, ships...even recruiting events got one(that could had easily have story arcs for KDF and Roms so that isnt an excuse in first place) that KDF alligned cant take part and oh...surprise...its also the one with best rewards. I also wont forget that previous executive produce(who is now in magic legends) didnt remember and said that people can make a TOS Klingon and play while talking in cryptics livestream....wasnt funny.
So to put it simple everyone who decides to make a KDF alligned toon and main it is at a disadvantage? So why would they increase in population?
To be fair it happened in a (few) other games too. I remember in GW2 one of the devs saying they dont bother to fix Charr race costume visuals because their stats show they arent among the most played races. No they didnt take into account people may not play them due to the disadvantage - so yes other companies too created downwards death spirals like cryptic does
Cryptic does it on other things too, example "we wont make bridges cause our stats show not many use them". They dont take into account they arent used because they havent been graphically updated, bug corrected(many got buried npcs in the floor like TOS bridge other floors, and havent released a new one in ages so you buy bridges only once. If they had done same for ships and wouldnt release more ships, what would they expect? us to rebuy ships?
Their logic has many flaws - and I dont think they try to read the forums as much. CMs in specific are the bridge between community and dev team and has a duty to have presence here and inform of feedback, both positive and negative and to their defence I dont think our CM has been very informative or active. Of course its possible they overloaded him with other things but the result isnt great nevertheless

Exactly it's a vicious cycle, few people are going to play something the dev's don't care about even if it interests them while one faction gets all the toys love and attention.

Why the need for canon variants?
Because that's what I felt like listing. I have no idea what goes on inside Cryptic's heads in terms of new versions.
I also don't much care any more. Not now they expect over 100 quid for the Nemesis (not even the Post-Nemesis) parts to add to the base Sovereign when buying the base ship in all other instances gets you the on-screen versions for free.
Buy the T6 or T3 Conni and you get the pilot, series, and film era parts all for free. Also lit and unlit nacelles.
Buy the Miranda and you get the Centaur, Saratoga, Reliant, and DS9 CGI version free. Add the free rep fleet modules and you get a free Soyuz. Also lit and unlit nacelles.
Buy the Steamrunner and you get the rear hull with impulse engines and the one without free.
Buy the Galaxy and you get the DS9 Venture nacelles free.
Buy the Galaxy X and you get both the Gal-X and Devron parts for free.
Buy the Nebula and get the Phoenix and Sutherland parts from TNG for free.
Buy the Excelsior and you get the refit and main version free. Add the free rep fleet modules and you get a free prototype. Also lit and unlit nacelles.
Buy the Ambassador and you get the Enterprise C, Yamaguchi, short pylons, and prototype version all for free.
Buy the Rhode Island, get the Nova free.
Buy the NX, get the refit free.
Buy the Sovereign, pay through the nose so the leaches can give you repositioned pylons and walls around the shuttlebay despite every other on-screen variant above being included as free with whatever purchase you made.
Oh, and the Konni, with the parts from BEY.
They clearly couldn't be arsed taking some time out to make two extra models for their worst value pack yet that they decided to charge for what has always been free. You'd be lucky to get a remodel of the KDF or RSE ships for this hypothetical pack, never mind refits of any sort.
None of this I hold against the artists modelling the ships. The base Sovereign looks like it's just swooped off the screen into the game now. It's just a shame it's the far less sleek version from FC/INS and not the one from NEM that I'll be looking at.

Fesarius is too big. Not only that, it would suffer from the same problem as the Borg Sphere. No defined front.
It is no bigger than the Universe Class. I never saw the issue with the Defined Front argument. It is not like Mech Warrior when the throttle might make you go sideways. You push the throttle up and your ship always goes forward.
On a related note, the Locutus Cube is a legendary Hero Ship, too.
you know, just throwing an arrow widget in front of ships that have no defined front would solve that issue - unless you can't actually see it through the ship because STO's camera system is absolute garbage

When discussing if a ship is "legendary" I say we should ask "if person is only casually familiar with Star Trek series would they recognize the ship", in case you wonder with possible exception of the Defiant the answer is "yes" to all of the chosen ships as they're the main ships of their respective series and yes even the Discovery would be instantly recognized by anyone who has seen the series it's featured in.
I got this friend who dispite being more of a Star Wars fan (not mention young enough that she wouldn't have seen the series when it first aired) who still could recognize the Galaxy-class at glance, butI doubt she'd recognize the Mogai-class let alone any of the 1 episode alien ships.
If a person who isn't a fan of the franchise can recognize the ship then I'd call it "legendary", but if you need to be a fan to recognize the ship then it's not really a "legendary" in the sense the ships that were selected are.
On that I'd say the Klingon's legendary ship is proably the Bird of prey and romulans is... maybe the D'deridex.
But there's no particular ship name. likewise in addition to reckongizing it, people should know the ships name.
That said I'd love to see them add a K'vort class Battlecruiser.

The previous, steelseries I believe was also a Federation starter pack - I know cause I got it on my single Fed. it gave him the reliant and some slots.
I dont know for certain, but it could be their longterm goal to make it one faction. Lower the other factions population enough and you will have little complaints if you make them all into one.

BoP. No canon variants, perhaps with nose art.
Vor'Cha. No canon variants.
Negh'Var. No canon variants.

Romulans it has to be the D'Deridex Legendary I'm not sure about but iconic definitely
Klingons B'rel Bird of Prey but scaled up to be the K'Vort Battle Cruiser Legends tell of its expliots in the Yesterdays Enterprise War
Klingons K'Tinga or Vor'cha as well
Hello rubber banding my old friend, time to bounce around the battlezone again, where are all my bug reports going?, out of love with this game I am falling, As Cryptic fail to acknowledge a problem exists, Shakes an angry fist, And from Support all I'm hearing are the sounds of silence.
I tend to, sadly, agree. Great for Fed centralized players, but a big fat zilch for other factions looks like Cryptic is just being dismissive.
Which also bring to mind what Al Rivera had said about wanting to make a portion of the playerbase that was very unhappy, happier.
For me the best part of this 10th anniversary though, was easiest the 2 episodes, followed by the TFO. Everything else was either insignificant or a slight/major miss.
As I understand we get an indirect message from cryptic, either play as it is, move to federation faction side or quit as we dont want to dedicate time and resources on you
Despite the fact that Klingons and Romulans have quite good missions, story and ship selections (not as good as Feds, but pretty good), players have just never flocked to them they way they do to Federation.

Straight up from fleet today : "I'm abandoning my KDF toons since it looks like the direction and focus of the game is fed only, so yay for free stuff"
When a fleetmate pointed out the free Discovery pack from the Alienware promotion.
1) Romulan T'liss
2) Romulan Scimitar
3) Romulan Narada
4) Klingon BoP
5) Klingon Bortasqu (to complete the flagship trio)
6) Klingon D7
7) Jem'Hadar Attack Ship
8) Jem'Hadar Dreadnought Carrier
9) Federation Miranda
10) Federation Vengeance
Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though.

A normie goes "Oh, what's this?"
An otaku goes "UwU, what's this?"
A furry goes "OwO, what's this?"
A werewolf goes "Awoo, what's this?"
"It's nothing personal, I just don't feel like I've gotten to know a person until I've sniffed their crotch."
"We said 'no' to Mr. Curiosity. We're not home. Curiosity is not welcome, it is not to be invited in. Curiosity...is bad. It gets you in trouble, it gets you killed, and more importantly...it makes you poor!"
