Personally, I would have preferred the Admiral's uniform from the prelude comics. Free is free though. Thank you, PWE! It's just too bad the series isn't worth watching but hopefully the game content will be better than the Picard production.
I've a funny feeling about this.... Sorry wrong franchise
At least it has some gold trim in the admiral uniform
The Uniform is fine, especially since it's free. But honestly, it's just a top with a badge. there is no customization at all, aside from main and shoulder colours. You can't put a fleet emblem on it, belts clip through it (All of them) and you can't match the colour of the top with the TNG bottoms which is probably what they are meant for. Again, as a free gimmick it's a neat idea, but as a full uniform it lacks
with all the reported problems I assume they rushed this out
hopefully they will fix the problems

I do hope those uniforms will be in the zen market or another freebie down the road
the regular versions of that uniform somewhat resemble the odyssey one
OK, I did not play STO at all last year due to health reasons, I lost my leg last year, I do not remember where I have to go or what I have to open to claim this. Can I get some help please?

First of all, I'm very sorry to hear about your leg. I hope you're doing better now and that you can relax and have fun - even just a little - by playing STO.
Now, to reclaim the uniform simply log into the game and then open the Zen Store.
In the Promotions Tab you should see a "Starfleet 2399 Uniform" that's ready to be claimed. Just click on "purchase" and you'll be good to go!
Not agreeing with someone doesn't give you the right to be an TRIBBLE.
Ci sono tre tipi di giocatori:
- quelli a cui non va mai bene niente... e vanno sul forum a trollare;
- quelli che sono talmente imbesuiti da credere a qualunque cosa i dev dicano, perfino che la luna è fatta di formaggio... e vanno sul forum a trollare;
- quelli che credono a quello a cui è giusto credere, sono d'accordo con quello con cui è giusto essere d'accordo e sono critici con quello che non va;

Thank you very much for both your kind words and your answer. I do have a prosthetic leg that I am trying to get used to using. It is a slow process however. I will be starting my first PT late next week for this. I got my prosthetic back in Oct of 2019. Getting back into STO is going slow for me being as I am trying to be a little more active. Again, thanks for your kind words and your answer.

First off..WELCOME BACK!! You need help..You shall have it..Just ask..
There's really no need for them to model a specific bottom to go with this top, as pre-existing ones already work well with it. I'm using the Odyssey pants and shoes, and they work just fine. The biggest disappointment to me is the color palette they chose for this item. I thought we had finally moved away from that rather bland palette. Sure, it has dozens of shades, but they're all rather dull, and none of them pop like the colors used in the show.

No need to thank me at all! If we can help you even just a fraction, I think you will find many of us ready to lend a hand whenever it's needed!
I wish you good luck for your first PT: I hope it all goes well and that you can adapt, and overcome this terrible thing, as quickly and as safely as possible!
In the mean time, welcome back to the game and to the community!

The clipping issues with the belts is a pain in the neck
"The meaning of victory is not to merely defeat your enemy but to destroy him, to completely eradicate him from living memory, to leave no remnant of his endeavours, to crush utterly his achievement and remove from all record his every trace of existence. From that defeat no enemy can ever recover. That is the meaning of victory."

I may see it wrong, but I'm seeing 5 Master Keys once per account, character bound in my Promotion Tab,
and I'm almost sure it was not there yesterday….

I'm fine with using pants that already exist, but for God's sake... Make the color palettes MATCH! Someone suggested All Good Things, or Odyssey, which can be made to look fairly similar (despite different palettes). But it would be better to have the same palettes available for both Upper and Bottom.
By the way, Picard seems to be the only one wearing this Uniform. Everyone else in Starfleet seems to be running around in the more classic Gold, etc. topped Tunics we were used to, with a bit of the Discovery/Enterprise type material styling.
Oh yeah, the Commodore Rank is back.

I really hope STO swaps out Rear Admiral for Commodore. Commodore sounds more commanding, far better than being the rear of an admiral
Also, by using Spock's dialogue from TOS, STO could use some VO tweaking to have him say 'Congratulations, Commodore.' when we level up

Do you have to clam this on every character or claim it once and it is good forever?
Thanks in advance for the answer ....
It is an account-wide unlock so just claim once, you log-in & claim it by any character then from then on in the future any Fed character can wear it.

Already posted above, you missed it: https://www.arcgames.com/en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/11355063-anniversary-giveaways-five-free-master-keys!

The "All Good Things" pants seem to match the material of the Picard top quite nicely.
So did I & mentioning details about the anniversary event 2 days after it started lol.
Apparently the pallet has been swapped to standard uniform.
I've also found that the Odyssey pants and the TOS miniskirt seem to match pretty well too.
