he answered to someone they will be new ships with new stats, traits etc

but it is still an expensive pack and unless almost all your toons are Federation I see little value for it

I do have however to comment and congratulate them on the quality they try to have on them

    but yes, disappointed overall
I'm not going to post them but several of the ships have been leaked, including screenshots of some of them. I saw them a few hours ago.
Most of the "leaks" come from the old Star Trek Legacy trailer shown off at one of the conventions, which simply had all the hero ships lined up next to each other, these ships were the normal hero ships, and not these new variants, and we know CBS has forbid a C store T6 Connie, so there goes like 3 of the ships right there

How do we get they forbid them? if they forbid something its totally to not use it. If you recall when Kael tried to explain the connie/d7 in R&D promo instead lockbox/c-store he starting saying their data shown it was to their best interest, and that means financially

Yeah from what I've seen over the years CBS only ever said no to the Connie being available at all, once that restriction went away I haven't seen anything official from a Cryptic employee that said CBS doesn't want them in the store but is ok with them being in Promoboxes.

Well, looks like all the ships are fed by the sillhouettes...looks like my zen is safe for another time

I think its confirmed 10th anniversary is fed only :p
My guess is, we're gonna have maybe 1KDF and 1ROM - doubt anything for Jems.
So yeah, it does feel like it's a fed only kinda thing.

silhouettes are all fed ships... also it's said on reddit to be the 10 ships shown in the legacy legends trailer. they all come with account-wide starship traits unlocks... so even if Fed only, KDF aligned caps still get the traits.

The silhouettes are all placeholders, all Oddies in fact, so that's not gonna say anything.
And I'm sorry, but "KDF aligned caps still get the traits" is NOT a good enough reason to spend that kind of Zen for them.

Not agreeing with someone doesn't give you the right to be an TRIBBLE.

Ci sono tre tipi di giocatori:
    - quelli a cui non va mai bene niente... e vanno sul forum a trollare;
    - quelli che sono talmente imbesuiti da credere a qualunque cosa i dev dicano, perfino che la luna è fatta di formaggio... e vanno sul forum a trollare;
    - quelli che credono a quello a cui è giusto credere, sono d'accordo con quello con cui è giusto essere d'accordo e sono critici con quello che non va;

Ai giocatori dei primi due tipi, gratis in omaggio un bello specchio lucente su cui arrampicarsi. E una mazzata in testa per la loro poca intelligenza e compassione verso gli altri giocatori che non la pensano come loro.

things change... when this game was made, License was with CBS... then it split and now back together. Other ST games since STO has been released can use the Connie in one form or another... so why not this one now? Also the T6 connie is not the same connie from TOS. It is from the future and just looks like the same ship... it's a temporal ship. Disc version comes from Discovery and Kelvin version is from the movies... none of the Connie T6 are from TOS. Besides if they are limiting it to the mega pack for $200 to $300... it will keep some folks out and not be as common as if it was sold for $30 for a regular T6 ship from the zen store.

Time will tell what the other 8 ships are... but as things stand, if it includes several lock box ships including a T6 connie, I will buy either the bundle or as a single ship from the store. otherwise I will pass since I already own all "hero" ships available in the zen store.

I'll say this, of the ones I found leaked screenshots of two were formerly lockbox ships (one of which I couldn't identify anything new on so I'm taking that one with a grain of salt), and one is currently in the Lobi store. I know companies don't like leaks but what I saw has me more intrigued than the initial announcement because it potentially puts things on the table that I didn't think would ever happen. However the leak also included the Borg lockbox ship as well so since we know that's lockbox we can't be sure that the rest are all from this bundle.

Are these packs worth it ?? for older players that have been playing the game since the start ?? NO.
For Newer players coming in that dont have these ships , I can see value in them buying them , my issue is the stat change with the bundle , and new traits with them , this irks me , seeing there is no mention on if the older versions get this refit option or not , IMO all T6 and FLEET T6 should get these upgrades seeing we already paid for these ships this is just quality life improvement to assets in game already , i feel i dumped enough cash in game for new toons for the new expansions , where for 10 year anniversary to have to rebuy ships i own AGAIN is not good player dev relations IMO

Like I linked earlier in this forum topic, Thomas Marrone has tweeted these will be new ships with their own stats and apparently their own traits. While I guess some will look like the lockbox variant seems they wont be same in sitting layout, trait, stats, trait pack(warship, escort, scout, cruiser etc)

Putting some kind of Connie in this pack and only this pack would be kinda dirty but it would give incentive for people to buy it,

Seems a bit more expensive than the regular 9-ship pack on a Zen/Ship basis. But then, the 9-packs are 3 times 3 very similar ships, these are all different. But similar to other 10 ships, of course. They are priced closer to regular single ships than packs.

The Defiant costume option is kinda boring compared to a fully fledged new model, but some might feel different, because there aren't any ships with decal options like that. It remains to be seen what the other ships will add. The Galaxy Class has a fully fledged new variant at least.

The pack come with a few extras. But I'd rather have 1 extra ship slot for each character (though I have more than 10, so it's not t he same number of extra slots) than one character with 10 extra slots, for example. I guess this variant makes it simpler for single-character players to claim these ships.

I'll probably buy it, full spec variants of hero ships is something I like. Particularly the Defiant appeals to me, because this version finally has 5 forward facing weapons.

thats just the Company line Thomas is towing , they arent NEW SHIPS , there the same ASSETS Geometry with a Different skins and quality of life stats to make them in line with the newer ships that came out in the T6 line of ships ( miracle worker , pilot ETC) this are not NEW SHIPS its just rebuy the old ships cuz its cheaper in dev time and cost if they offered a discount if you own a T6 version already then i might be happier with this , and if its only in the pack then thats even worse , making my older purchase obsolete kinda irks me , in a game where DPS is the sole goal , one additional weapon de- values what was purchased before at the same tier class

The last time I bought Zen, it was the last time there was a bonus Zen special. I made a few purchases in the meantime, so seeing the costs for the 'regular' and 'premium' bundles made me balk. I'm glad that there's going to be time for me to recharge my wallet before this becomes available.

For the 30000 version: With only 2 ships known, who knows? Some people will say "no" without having enough information of course.

    All we know now is:
    - Ships include the costume unlocks, consoles and special gear like quad cannons from the T1 - T5 versions of the ships
    - There are some unique new costumes like the Defiant nose art
    - There are some new mastery traits

    For the 45000 version:

Not really. Getting that Epic token requires opening on average somewhere between 500 -1,000 Phoenix boxes (2,000,000+ dil or 5000+ zen). But with opening boxes you'd get a mountain of upgrade tokens and other goodies like the shotgun, special duty officers, epic admiralty ships. If it was an account unlock Phoenix token it would possibly be worth it.

The goodies in the Premium Box really don't seem that exciting. I mean, maybe mathematically they work out in Zen value, but they feel like an afterthought.

Maybe if it included another 10 account bank slots, or 1 extra ship slot for every character on your account it would be more interesting.

The Pheonix Token is actually kinda boring, I have 2 or 3 of them, and I already own all the ships included in the Epic Token. So I am just holding them in reserve for when something comes along that I haven't had yet. Or I am desperate for Phoenix Upgrades.

9 Ship Bundle is 12k zen. With the extras it should be 20k and the premium about 28k. For 30k it should include the corresponding bundles (Galaxy, Defiant ...).
If you mean a bundle of all the variants of the ship - it actually seems like that is the case. The Defiant and Galaxy stats say that they have all the consoles (or special weapon), and the costume options list all the available costume for these ships.

I guess the only thing missing would be the Admiralty cards. Which isn't insignificant, I suppose. I guess that's a consolation prize for people that already own all the variants (except that of course you can have owned them for a few years and flown and used them for a while), but it would be kinda lame for players that just get the pack - they aren't going to rebuy the lower tier ships for an Admiralty Card... Or maybe they do.

    ---

The Defiant Warship stats look interesting. I mostly wanted those 5 front-facing weapons.

The Exploration Cruiser is however a bit disappointing. The ship has Exploration in its name, but its Science slot is only Lt. Can't they exchange the Lt. Science and the Lt.Cmdr Engineering slot? No one really needs 7 engineering slots on any ship. Lt.Cmdr Science however can always be useful for a Gravity Well or something like that.

Some of the "goodies" are outright ridiculous. 10'000 dilithium ore once per account?

No new species unlocks, uniforms, bridge and duty officers... just a bunch of casino chips and an epic phoenix token.. meh.

Gambleboxes are overly padded with trash so getting the zen value from them is unlikely, especially for the R&D ones thanks to the endeavour system giving a steady deluge of materials into the game.

Far too many of the things are once per account for a game that encourages alts. 10k dilithium ore (is it unrefined?) is a joke, the daily bonus dil for an event goes way higher.

I can't see me going for either bundle and if its there's going to be one or two ships buried under a pile then I'm happy enough to pass. Already have more than enough of them on both PC accounts with a distinct lack of fresh content to use them with thanks to the pushing of events over episodes. Yes there's been new patrols but the general theme of dump waves onto the player for 3-5 minutes is just mindnumbingly lazy.

I'm not going to be forking out for the bundle, but (based on the rumours at least) I might very well be tempted by one or two if they were available individually.

I don't like how they do things even if there should be new ships in the bundle. I m suppose to pay for the same ships I already paid twice for. Remember they used to be T5 then T6 and now modified T6 WTF? How many times do you want to be paid for the same ship. Then the price on top of that is a joke even at 20.000 zen. Good luck finding people who are willing to spend so much money on virtual goods with uncertain time of ownership.

So far this whole 10 year anniversary is a big disappointment. I hope they sell this ships individual cause I'm not buying the same ship for the 3rd or even 4th time if we talk about the T4 Versions.

I don't think i waited for a ship which is already been out since years. So where are the ships we are waiting for? Vo'Quv T6, Nova T6, Luna T6, Oberth T6, Steamrunner T6, Constellation T6 ect....

They need to clarify that the 10 extra ship slots only apply to those that haven't maxed their ship slots long ago. I don't know why they can't give us more since new ships have been a major portion of all new content. Maybe work on that since it would immediately sell.

The big question is what ships are in the bundle .

If you get all the related consoles it is DSC Connie, TOS Connie, Kelvin Connie, Odyssey, Galaxy, Intrepid, Defiant, Sovereign, NX-01 and Crossfield as some believe then this should be what you get in it.

Legacy Odyssey would have 6 consoles, and possibly 4 traits. My guess is it will a miracle worker ship because with all those consoles you'll want an extra console slot. Probably comes with the Odyessy bridge.

We've seen the Legacy Galaxy and Defiants, Legacy Intrepid will like follow suit, all three consoles and the T6 Pathfinder trait + a new account unlocked trait.

Legacy DSC Connie FD Carrier has only 1 previous version a lockbox ship, but it will not only come with the console, but the pets too. 1 old trait + 1 new trait. Unless DSC and TOS Connie are seen as the variants of the same ship like the Andromeda, Ross, and Galaxy classes are, I mean technically they are supposed to be the same exact Enterprise (even with different stats and ship class).

Kelvin Connie Cruiser is already a Specialty ship, so to avoid dupilcation the Legacy Connie Cruiser will be a different Specialization entirely. It would only have 1.

TOS Connie is really suppose to be the same ship as the DSC Connie, just a variant, the way the San Paolo is a variant of the Defiant and Valiant, but it might be seperate. If so the Legacy TOS Connie will get all the TOS Connie goodies.

Legacy NX Class would get the starter console, the T6 version console, and the old NX trait + an new one.

Legacy Sovereign has previous two T6 versions of itself already so both those consoles and traits + a new one. I think it will be different from the specialization of the other two, perhaps Temporal, just a guess.

Legacy Crossfields Class will have just the console and trait of the previous lockbox ship + a new one.

And if I'm right and the TOS Connie is just a skin for the new Legacy DSC Connie (or vis versa), then my guess is the 10th ship is a Universe Class based on one of the Sillouttes, but if the Sillouttes turn out to be misleading I could be wrong. If not, then 1 old console, but Frigate Hangar bays, and a different Specialization, but the console interacts with the innate special ability of the Universe class so it will have to retain that. Oh and old ship mastery trait and a new account unlock one.

Plus 10 new ship slots for one character and a 20+ Customes including new ones (Space Barbie for the win).

Is it worth it, perhaps, you decide.

Also note if you are very patient you can over time trade enough dilithium for zen to buy this for free.

I don't know. The ships in the image look nothing like the Intrepid. You can clearly see the Odyssey though.

Yes. They are ALL Odysseys. Even the placeholders for the Defiant and Galaxy used to be Odysseys:

You are only "supposed" to do what you want to do. So if you want to buy the new versions of these ships, go for it. If you don't, that's fine too. Neither option is "right" or "wrong".

If you just bought the Picard bundle too... that's 3+ times for that Galaxy (T5 galaxy, Galaxy Bundle, Picard Bundle, this).

For the record, I did not buy the Picard bundle because I wanted to wait to see this... I'm glad I waited. No reason to get Picard bundle now.

There was no point for me to buy the Picard bundle. I don't buy bridges for ships since I'm never on the bridge or costumes and all the ships involved i already owned anyway. You can argue for the Miradorn ship but its not that good of ship with useless trait compared to others and a console you can only use in 2 ships. I got this ship 2 times for set bonus purpose only.

Surprise mechanics in general are under threat right now. The game will not survive the loss of that revenue stream if the EU decides to restrict lootboxes. It's an expensive pack, the most expensive so far I think. The price doesn't bother me though, Cryptic needs to make a profit and some players WILL open their wallets for this pack. Especially if the rumour of Connie classes is correct. The question remains, will enough players buy this?

I very probably will. I cashed in my Dil a few weeks ago and ended up with 29k Zen. I don't think it will strain me to cash in some more for the extra 300 required.

Very good question, but luckily for me, I have literally none of the T6 versions of the classes likely to have been in the Legacy Bundle, so zero redunacy for me. See until the Jupiter Carrier I only dabbled in the fed side, mostly I played an Orion KDF side with a pile of Orion FDCs and a Flight Deck Raptor (and Fleet version) mostly for the trait. Then the Jupiter came out and I both fleet and none fleet versions and that mainly what I fly Fed side with occasional breaks for my Intel Cardassian Ships, Event Ships, and my 31st Century Chronos Temporal Dreadnaught Cruiser.

So I have spent ZERO on any of these ships. And I could use the extra ship slots on my primary Fed side character (actual my primary KDF character could use it too, but that will have to be dealt with seperately).
