Since I'm not a Neverwinter player, those items are of no value to me, it's the STO items that I am seeking in exchange for my donation.
That's why I'm holding off donating until I'm sure I get the items relevant to my game.
Can anyone explain why the donation page on the Extra Life website has no references or acknowledgement of the STO donation reward items?

I mean, this thing is for charity, so there's not really any reason to ask for money back, but it does seem messed up there are "limited" supplies of digital items that are infinitely producible, especially in the name of a good cause such as this. There's a list of people who donated and how much, there's at least 11 people, i think, who donated 50 or over, so I'd say all the big items are already gone, but yeah, they could have made this whole thing more clear.
I use PayPal as a means to secure my Credit Card all the time and what it means is that PayPal is charging your credit card directly, but they are not releasing that information to the company directly, PayPal is the only one who sees your credit card or banking details for the porpoises of issuing the charge.
All the company sees is your email address, as this counts as your PayPal id name.
I intend to make the $10 payment, since I'm uncertain if it'll actually get me the reward I am interested in and don't want to risk a large donation at this time for that reason.
Should I be contacting you (ambassadorkael) if they deliver the wrong codes to me or I don't get them at all?
I play on PC, not console.

What I want to do is pay with my paypal balance.
It might have to do with the floating skull in the Gelatinous Cube Companion for why it is PC only. The Gelatinous Cube Mount is the best and smoothest ride in Neverwinter. Even if it is slowly digesting its rider. If the other items are not listed as PC only, then it is safe to assume that the other items are available for all systems.
so i'm not really sure, but do you get codes for both NW and STO based on how much you donate, or do you have to pick one of the games?
Also, the text says:
"For Star Trek Online, there are 5 donation tiers where players will receive in-game codes for the tier they donate in and any tier below."
but then the rewards list for $100 is missing the ships from the $50 tier?
It says that there is only 10 of the $50 and $100 tiers available. So it is possible that it is first come first serve during the livestream. It is also possible that only donations made through the livestream would be valid for the prizes.
I agree it's unclear. I didn't have to do that 3(?) years ago when I got one of the mega-ship bundles as the $100 reward but now maybe you do?
At that time I think the link sent you to a donation page saying what you'd get, and there were no limits on how many people could get each reward. Maybe too many people donated and Cryptic decided donating 50-100 x $120 ship packs was too many?

Sure, if you don't care about the limited-quantity rewards.

"During the livestream, players can donate in support of Extra Life. For Neverwinter, there are 7 donation tiers where players will receive in-game codes for the tier they donate in and any tier below."

That can be read as saying the game codes are only given away to those who donate "during the livestream."
$2,800 has already been donated, which is nice work people. ... but that means the $50 -$200 rewards are probably gone by now if the rewards are available to early donors.
It's still a good cause, but I think I'll stick with my usual charities instead. I need the shinies as an excuse to donate to this one.
It says under the Prizes & Donations section, "During the livestream, players can donate in support of Extra Life" not "During the livestream and by clicking on this link, players can donate in support of Extra Life." So it might be possible to donate to Extra Life at any time, but the rewards are only active during the livestream. The highest tiers have 10 bundles available so either they will not be available for anyone that is waiting for the livestream to start or the players that currently spent $50 to $100 to get the highest tier bundles will not get them. Then there is the issue of someone might play Neverwinter and Star Trek Online and spent $100 to get the $50 Neverwinter bundle and $50 Star Trek Online bundle, but gets the $100 Neverwinter or Star Trek Online bundle by mistake. There are a lot of things unclear about this announcement.
Grammatically, "players can donate" is what the qualifier "During the livestream" is referring to. The phrase "players can donate during the livestream" is also not synonymous with "players can donate ONLY during the livestream." Stating what someone can do is not mutually exclusive to all other actions said person can do (without appropriate qualification or context.) That interpretation was also already contradicted by the linked statement "you don't have to wait for the event to donate!"
Prizes are never so contextualized. There is no reason to suspect that donations prior to the stream will not receive any prizes. Those are tracked on a person-by-person level through extra life (not twitch) and there's no practical reason why Cryptic would want to disincentive donations outside their stream through an intensive hassle of manually filtering prizes for donations during select times. Timing couldn't even be used for prize category attribution as that would also be prone to substantial error if, for example, an STO player makes a donation during a D&D session or NW folks jumped in during the great dinosaur debate that's slated to consume the first part of the show (both far from implausible.)
The money's going to children's hospitals. Whether that's raised during this part of the drive or that doesn't make a difference to the ultimate impact of this event. They want to maximize that impact. Ergo, encourage donations at any time.
You guys can also estimate the number of $100 prize packs remaining by counting the number of donations in the "donations" tab (follow the link) at that level and dividing by two (NW and STO populations with there no strong biasing factor between them. Ergo: over an average it'll be roughly 50/50 though the number generated could well be an overestimate as these charity drives will also see donations from folks who don't care about in-game prize offerings.) If you're worried, then just wait for the stream. I'm sure Kael will announce the status of STO prizes at the top of the show. Per:
"Please note that prizes are subject to change and can be replaced by an item of equal or greater value."
Cryptic has some flexibility in how they manage prizes if, for example, they've blown past their initial funding goal before the livestream and need more to advertise during the stream (currently 3,099 of 3,000, NICE Y'ALL!) Last year they were quite creative with alternatives.
