No transfer to the new Token, but they stated they are working on a buyout for the old Token (3000 one).

So, I have 1600/3000 T6 coupon progress tokens just sitting there in the "Event" rep window. Are they just gonna collect dust or will I be able to transfer those to the new system? If not, that seems like a strong disincentive to continue playing an event once total success *during that specific event* becomes impossible since it will have no effect on the next event with the same goal/reward.
It has been mentioned that there is a buyout coming for the previous T6 ship event for those of us, myself included, that never finished it. Once it is available, it will hopefully be announced.
Rather than can you survive how about can you stay awake after hitting fire at will and launching subcraft.

I'm good going to level 7 and getting the credit for it. I don't think I would continue any where past that
It's not like the queue wouldn't throw an incredibly annoying faction to melt the Maru, anyway.
In most cases, you're lucky to keep the death-seeking *censored series of swear words here* in one piece at wave 5 because it's usually there where you meet one of THOSE factions and/or conditions.
Klingons? Piece of cake, just watch out for isometric charges scratching the paintjob.
Dominion? Meh, the battleships are a bit tougher, but nothing serious.
Tholians? Yay, more web traps to waste time to get rid of. But still manageable.
Fed/Terrans? Target that command cruiser.
Tzenkethi? See those cruisers? Ruin their *beep*!
Voth? Have a fat, slow turning ship? Sucks to be you.
Borg? Oh, just during the onslaught wave? TOO BAD!
Acceleration affix? Yeah, about that fat slow turning ship? Regret it already? Have a cannon-boat raider? Sucks to be you for once.
Any hazard? Fun shall now end for non-raiders and non-escorts and speed-boosting abilities shall be wasted.
And of course:
Undine? "Omae Wa Mou Shindeiru." Maru: "Nani?!"
Every time I see the Kobayashi Maru, I wonder, why aren't there more Star Fleet freighters travelling through Federation space, or even in some missions where Star Fleet is helping with setting up settlements (or even helping other members of the Alliance).

KDF captains keep sending their Doffs to raid them before blowing them up.

Capture the crew, sell them as slaves either to the dilithium mines or to Orions. Or worse, hand them over to Imperial security. You'd think Imperial security would just give them over to Alliance command. But that only applies if the Klingons decide they don't have a reason to send them to prison.

Because they aren't relevant to the plot or gameplay.
All those crewman (extras) walking through the corridors on any Enterprise were not relevant to the plot of the TV Episode but they were there, nonetheless. It's called atmosphere.

The first I did, it was actually not.
Then I accompanied a couple of fleet mates for their runs... and boy, it wasn't suicidal. It was SUPER suicidal! That thing was zooooming around the map like an headless chicken!
Wait till it headless chicken runs into a doomdays machine primary blast
Eh, I had that too... immediately following a panicked shout of "TRIBBLE! I should've brought an Hargh-peng!", though that particular emergency went away when the Doomsday disappeared XD
Unfortunately, I think this version of the DM is immune to this torpedo anyway.
Don't worry, I did take my harg'peng and found that the "doomsday machine" wasn't a unit at all, it is an "environmental hazard" in the scenario and immune to all fire.

I guess that's why other freighters go about their business, in sector space, being without relevance to the plot or gameplay after all
I wanna know why the Kobayashi Maru plows into the enemy fleet instead of running from it LOL.
In one of the Star Trek 'New Frontier' novels, Captain (then Cadet) Calhoun took the test and opted to destroy the Kobiyashi Maru; in doing so disabled the attacking ships and was thus able to escape.
Post-test he argued that it must've been a trap, that the Maru's crew were probably already dead and if they weren't already dead then he did them a favour as death would be preferable to the treatment they'd receive as prisoners.
With the way the Maru acts in-game in mind, I suspect he was right about it being a trap. The recording is a lie - the Maru is cearly FAR from powerless/damanged. Some TRIBBLE enemy obviously has the stupid thing on remote control and clearly takes great delight in trolling anyone trying to rescue it.
Well, i'd just wish that some waves wouldn't spawn that many enemies at once up to the point, were i can't do anything anymore except waiting for the lag festival to end... it would be nice if the Devs could come up with a solution for that.

that would be you upgrading to a better pc (cpu & gpu & memory) or getting a better connection from your isp.

It has nothing to do with upgrading to a better PC or getting a better connection from your isp. It is Akamai Technologies that is the problem, tracerts show this.
Spring/Summer 2019: PC Captains get a T6 ship token across 3 events, but the event doesn't run on consoles.
Autumn/Winter 2019: PC Captains again get a T6 ship token across 3 events, but console captains don't get it.
Instead, they get a ship from the Phoenix Box.
How is this fair play for those on consoles?
On PC, we're given some nice events to entice us to play with an extra goal that really worth playing for - twice now!
Those on consoles are treated as an after-thought both times.
