And yes I have tried running via "run as Administrator" The launcher updater did come up, downloaded/updated... brings up the "launcher" window and stuck on "logging in, please wait: and do not get the sign in part.

And I have already tried to uninstall and install a new copy but still unable to get to the "log in" part of the launcher window

I have checked my Email and no Ban notification was found or any email form arc/cryptic/steam... and since I cannot get to the login screen, they have no idea who is loggin in at this point.

I am a free to play player on both STO and Neverwinter (both are having the same issue).

Dxdiag says it's all good to go.. (running DirectX 12) the driver was last updated 8/23/19 and have been playing both games since then. So trying to change my Directx make no since since it was working until two days ago..

I have already checked my firewall exceptions and see both games listed

Have tried launching via Direct shortcut (w/adminrights), through steam, through Arc)

Tried dumming down the direct X to -d3d10 and -d3d11 (two seperate tries) in the shortcut properties offered no change to the issue

-console results

Since this is now a new install, there is no "patching" loges and while I can see the "options" option inbetween "account Guard" and "release Notes" in the launcher window, clicking on it does nothing.. however clicking on "news", "Forums", "support", Account
Guard", and Release Notes" will bring up the associated web pages.

Any Help ????

Have you turned off On-Demand Patching and checked off Force Verify in the Options of the launcher? Also, have you tried playing Star Trek Online through the launcher itself and not Arc or Steam? Or uninstalled and made sure to delete the .pref file that is saved or delete .pref file instead of uninstalling STO and seeing if that works to correct the corrupted files? Thanks. :)

As of now, all the files are gone. All I got is the exe file and some dll's and while I can see the "options" at the top of the launcher clicking on it does nothing so I cannot reach the area of "on-Demand patching" and "force verify" I have tried to run, direct .exe file, through steam launcher, and through the Arc launcher. Since the "cryptic launcher updater" is working, I know it's not a firewall issue

10 days of talking with cryptic "tech support" and they are blaming my ISP but I can take the laptop to a friends home with a 1gig fiber connection and get the same results.. my console reads out this

So we know it's not a firewall issue, this is from a fresh install/updated version of windows 10 with no other programs installed but steam/arc and when trying through steam/arc and directly from the .EXE file (ran as administrator) the result are always the same any help??
