    Yes, it says so
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.

Nah, that's scheduled for December in the roadmap.

The Altamid drones scheduled for October will probably be in the box, though I couldn't guess if it will be the main ship.

Probably the U.S.S. Kelvin will be the grand prize, and some other ship, as everyone knows, the Vengeance is lobi

So in that article, they say you can add a registry number to your Dreadnought Class (Vengeance) starship but I am not seeing any options in the game UI. I'd expect the option to be in the same place that you name your ship, your ship's tab in the Character Status window. I also checked the starship customization officer, and there is nothing there, but there never has been a registry number aspect to the customizer before so... any thoughts?

It's not live yet, coming Sept. 10th to PC. Tribble Test server has the update if you've got a character there and want to see it early.

To be fair, I can see why it's confusing (I was confused myself at not being able to see the new model) when the blog says:

"We hope you enjoy the upgrade we’ve made to the Kelvin-Timeline Intel Dreadnought Cruiser. If you already own one and wish to see these updates on your ship, simply set it as your active starship, go to the Starship Customization screen and select the "Dreadnought" option from the list on the left. Thanks for playing, and live long and prosper!"

I read that and assumed, as it seems others did, that this meant it was live now.

My ECs are on Kelvin for Fed, Klingon "Warbird" for KDF, and Franklin for Lobi.

Give me my kelvin I’d also like the uniforms they had at the beginning of that Star Trek the crew wore on the Kelvin

I am confused, i know what the article says, but we have already had a Kelvin Timeline Lockbox? the one with the T'laru?

Would be nice if cryptic finally added the blue Uniforms the Admiral and Crew were wearing on the Vengeance. This more than anything else is what I have been awaiting on. That being said if anyone has read the 5 part Kahn comic book series the Vengeance was developed by Kahn but made by Section 31, thus I am wondering if the blue uniforms were Section 31 uniforms from the Kelvin Timeline. . . .

That was the Kelvin Timeline Lockbox, this is the USS Kelvin Lockbox. :)

We had two Xindi, Aquatic and Terrestrial with the Aquatic being added to Xindi when the Terrestrial released.

Now I understand Geko's Troll about the Storyline Changing Everything. We will be starting over in 2409 in the KELVIN Timeline. So the Path to 2409 Academy stuff will be rewritten for that. Path to 2409 (Kelvin). No need for Tier 7 Ships. They'll just release Tier 6 again Kelvinized. ;)

    Presumed ships:

    Kelvin: https://shop.eaglemoss.com/usa/star-trek-starships/uss-kelvin-special-edition

    D7: https://shop.eaglemoss.com/usa/star-trek-starships/klingon-battle-cruiser-special-edition

    Franklin: https://shop.eaglemoss.com/usa/star-trek-starships/uss-franklin-special-edition

I'm not sure how they could make the jellyfish a normal playable ship, as it is essentially a shuttle. Would they make a "T6" shuttle that is actually on par with capital ships? I guess we will see.

The drones from are gonna be in the box, but I think theyll be the lobi ship. I'm personally hoping for another Romulan ship from it, because the T'laru is my favorite ship in the game.

Well the Vulcan Scout is "practically a shuttle" already and it's a full ship, that said they could make it a small craft.

yeah i read that article and came here.. i gotta ask have they announced lock boxes ahead of time before( i mean before the article specifically about the lock box)?

Anyways, I'd be happy to get a Franklin, maybe as a Lobi ship. I'm really not into the one nacel design, so i could take or leave the kelvin.

I am not sure if the drones will be in the lockbox as we dont know in what form they will be

they can be pretty much a beacon like the hurq beacon or the dsc klingons beacon as rewards from a mission or an event

    I just had a thought.

The Kelvin ship is technically part of the prime universe. Remember the timeline got diverged the day Kirk was being born, but obviously the Kelvin ship existed some time before then... in the prime universe, so there would still be actual Kelvin-class ships in the prime timeline, though obviously probably all of them decommissioned, maybe some as living museums, etc. Thinking about it... so would the Franklin since it's far older.
  • iamjmphiamjmph Member Posts: 211 Arc User
very true miirik, but they aren't mentioned in any cannon but Kelvin-timeline i don't think, Franklin might have been mentioned in ENT, but i dont think. So i'm pretty sure they count as Kelvin-Timeline ships... Technically Spock's ship and the drones exist in both as well, since one came from the prime universe and the other would have been before the split, but no one that i have seen considers them Prime-timeline ships....

I'd imagine the drones will be a 14-day TFO reward. In fact, I was fairly certain they stated as much at the Las Vegas event.

Honestly I'd suspect the drones to be either a summon or a hangar pet item.

I find it really off putting that we now get prime timeline faction ships only via lockboxes. But maybe we get some other Kelvin inspired ships for the peasantry and maybe even a uniform... but who am I kidding. It's all per character lockbox now, it's the only thing that keeps the game alive...
