Still no info on a Lobi-store-ship? Or will it be a super-secret surprise?

Very funny. It does NOT outright say there'll be no Lobi-ship. But thanks, I guess...

There is no Lobi Ship and there hasn't been one in a few Lockboxes, except for T6 Replacements for T5 Ships. It's non-Fleet grade ships for the C-Store, and Fleet grade ships for Events, and chance sources (R&D Infinity, named Lockboxes, and Infinity Lockboxes).

The Lobi Store, though a single Character unlock, is still a fixed price source. And before the usual suspects go bringing up that you can get one of chance source ships definately through the Exchange, the initial source to get those ships to the Exchange is a chance source.

Oh, by the way, the Announcement Blog does tell us the items going to the Lobi Store, and a Ship is not in that list. They do not keep Ship announcements secret when releasing them.

Ha! You want to discount the official blog, because it doesn't specifically say there is no Lobi ship. :D If the official blog for the Lockbox doesn't mention a Lobi ship, then there is no Lobi ship. Lobi ships don't get separate announcements.

I was kinda hoping they'd perhaps keep it as a surprise until release. It's just a huge bummer IMO, not that big of a deal, but disappointing.

Does make one wonder about the Franklin though; as already speculated elsewhere - possible R&D/DOFF promotion prize?

Mh. I think the Enterprise-A from Beyond would be more safe as a R'n'D-promo (:Krall: I am counting on it :/Krall:)… with the Jellyfish coming to the Christmas-Event, there might be other options for the Franklin down the road (anniversary or some big event). Perhaps there'll be yet another Kelvin LB later (though there isn't much left to put into that). We'll see, I'm sure the Franklin will inevitably arrive one way or another.

Also... Kelvin-Connie visual options for the refit-variants (the refit from the end of ID as well as the one from Beyond)… I'd like those.
