I've spent very little time playing any other character/ship since I won that ship and have, as a side-effect, improved my DPS in the process. In fact, as things stand, I think I like it more than the Nova - but that is due, in part, to the poor quality of the Nova model.

Whilst I fully realise that his is an entirely personal perspective, I don't know anyone who was clamoring for a T6 Franklin or a T6 Kelvin, and I certainly couldn't care less about either ship.

Then again, they check only Reddit, not their own forums. As I see it there arent ships most-wanted for Federation Captains, KDF captains(t6 vo'quv, t6 kar'fi, t6 kamarag and many others), Romulan captains or JH captain. They CAN of course make these new ships so good quality that people will love them but the statement of "you waited for..." is weird and stretched out of proportion. On minor things they also mispelled Feh'kiri and J'ula on the roadmap, lol

It sure sounds like a new Expansion , but one without a new faction , like Delta.

I still want a Cardassian, Borg Cooperative, Ferengi, Voth, Iconian/Herald Factions.

What I was speculating about with the upcoming Engle. By 'Crowd Control' I meant Forum uprisings.

You don't care about anything but your Nova.

    This was uncalled for.

I've seen far more people ask in-game for a T6 Franklin and Kelvin then I have seen anyone ask for the Nova. The only person I generally see ask for a Nova is you, and all other Nova discussion stems from that mountain you have made of it.

This is not true, as one need only skim the T6 Nova thread to see several other respondents in agreement. @reyan01 may be the most vocal requester, but not the only voice calling for it.

Some people will inevitably want X while others want Y. The common thing is everyone thinks their own preference is the most important one, if not the only one. But in reality different people will always want different things and Cryptic has to decide what takes priority (because it's impossible to do everything at once).

I agree with reyan. DR was the perfect opportunity to introduce the T6 Nova, as Kim was commanding one.

They also did the one-off Dauntless for DR as well, so.

I would settle for having a real Dominion demi-faction instead of just the fancy single race unlock they are now.

More KT stuff is always welcome especially if it means we get the Kelvin uniforms and hand phasers as well as the Newton type with the Kelvin beams and micro torpedos.

The Klingon Warbird is nice too, if only the boxy Klingon disruptor rifle and pistol from 09 become available too.

Though we could really do with some TAS stuff now. I can't think of a single thing from that show that's ingame. Even the Caitians are from their only other appearance in TVH not the TAS style ones.

JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

I'd have personally rather had a T6 Nova from Delta Rising than the T6 Dauntless.

That's the point, they did a one-off instead of the T6 Nova/Rhode Island that was already in-game at lesser levels. Probably thought the somewhat Tactical Science Ship with Fancy Hyperdrive would be more welcome.

Oh, how dare they make a new ship instead of one that was already in the game. It's as if they wanted to, like, introduce T6 without being immediately accused of cashing in by "forcing" people to re-buy the same ships they already have or something. :p

Cryptic has said in the past that, while they have the rights to most TAS stuff, they avoid some of it due to legal reasons(hence Ferasans instead of Kzinti) and because TAS is generally considered "way out there" even for Trek, and much of it doesn't fit with the rest of Trek.

The Ferasans are a Cryptic original not the Kzinti.

For some reason I thought about this game when I read this headline:

    The Ferasans are
    • Cat people
    • Whose government is a Patriarchy
    • From the planet Ferasa
    • Said planet is located in the same place the Kzinti Patriarchy space is on the Star Charts
    • Are related to the Caitians
    • Fought humanity in the past and signed the Treaty of Sirius
All of which is the same as the Kzinti

Their females talk, they're proportioned like the Catians not like apes, they don't have bat ears, they aren't purple.

They are not even slightly like Kzinti other than being cats.

Might have thought you were referring to the Kzinti itself and not the outfit said Kzinti is wearing.
