As its free I might go for the andorian chimichanga escort for the grav well trait on my LTS, mainly because I dislike the idea of a sci trait being lumped into an escort and don't spend zen on ship I'd never otherwise fly just for a trait.
For f2p more likely to be the vanguard carrier as its faction agnostic and easily the best store carrier.
Think I hit 1300 today but with both weekends being a bonus one its got me wondering if that will be the norm going forward.

Let me warn you, the andorian escort is addictive. It's an awesome ship. Still fly both the Tier 5 and 6 versions.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
Hit 2000 today. Might as well resume the talk about which ship to grab.
Has anything changed in your opinion?

^The problem with most of these is that they are part of larger sets...so in the long run you end up spending more to get each individual ship vs. the entire set together.
I purchased the Orion FDC separately since i really did not like the visuals of the Federation and Romulans ships. To gain access to the trait the Tellerite ship could be useful.
Still mostly leaning towards the klingon https://sto.gamepedia.com/Negh'Tev_Heavy_Battlecruiser but i haven't really looked over the various options lately.

I actually have the baby t1 escort on one of my PC accounts but my main issue is that escorts have never really grabbed me as being fun to play on PC. Maybe if we had proper controller support it'd be different as I've found that to be a more enjoyable experience even despite the awful clunk of the ui and rather slapdash execution of the console port.
I know, I'll just hang on hoard it until one of those is made, so that Cryptic can hop into my personal bank account and delete it like they did with event vouchers.
In which case, probably a Tactical Scimitar for alt account, and main account Gagarin for its starship trait although useless protonic console that would even harm my Harpia's protonic/exotic hybrid build. So the Support Cruiser > Gagarin for my purposes since it has a useful console, looks really cool, and has a good starship trait although less useful for science since feedback pulse was nerfed even with starship trait boost along with embassy sci consoles.
Hathos looks cool but it's a poor version of the faeht with a ship-bound console along with a heavy experimental weapon that requires more upgrading on my 3 main romulans that probably performs worse than other experimental weapons anyways, and with a starship trait that benefits ambush bonus flanking for only 8 sec in a game filled with swarms of low HP cannon fodder or bosses that resist it all anyways.
I was going with the Shran, but I picked that up during the last ship sale using excess Dilithium.
I am not sure what I will go with now, either the Thozyn for Promise of Ferocity (though I don't really need more traits) or maybe the Klothos MW Cruiser for one of my KDF characters. The Europa is also a possibility.
I pretty much have everything from the C-Store that I want.. I'l likely end up using the coupon for an admiralty ship or a ship I want for cosmetic unlocks on another ship.
I think the Shran for me now. I was going to get one of the Pilot Escorts but I'm keaning towards getting the pack now. So the Shran it will be. I'm going to try a dual beam bank set up on it
The Eclipse and Chronos are great ships. I have both. A friend has a Phantom and she seems to like it, though says it a bit squishy, which is natural for the type ship it is.
Now a LTS and loving it.
Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything.

Thanks.
I'm currently leaning towards the Eclipse - it looks to have pretty good base turn rate for a cruiser, and I've never really played around with the Intel powers so those would be fun to explore as well.
For most of the time since I started playing, I've favoured the cruisers (Galaxy, Sovvy, Oddy, Gal-X et al), but more recently I've found myself going in more of an escort/destroyer direction (Klein, Theseus, Denorios, Ouroboros et al), hence I think if I went for the Phantom it would just be more of the same and I kind of feel like flying something a bit bigger again. The main point against the Chronos for me is the aesthetic - I'm a bit of a Space Barbie obsessive, so looks are a factor in my decision and something about the Chronos just doesn't do it for me, although I don't doubt it's a very capable ship.
All of that being said, the Eclipse is feeling like the natural choice at the moment but that will probably change back and forth multiple times before I get the token!
Just grabbed the Arbiter with my coupons, was mainly for the trait but surprised by how much fun im having flying her. Nice turn rate always makes the pew pew more enjoyable
Just want to say thanks to Cryptic & the staff for the ship as well, its muchly appreciated.
The Chronos is a very capable ship once you help the turn rate some. I fly it on a couple of my toons. Intend to fly the Ouroborous on one of my tac toons.
Still, the Chimesh is heading the pack cause I do like to use gravwell sometimes.
Now a LTS and loving it.

The next ship released after another release that takes the next one off the Blacklist.

Eclipse is a pretty nice ship. Makes a good beam boat if that's what you're after. It has a good turn rate for a cruiser and excellent inertia rating. Also, access to Intel and a cloak is nice to have. The trait is ok if you need something defensive just nothing all that fantastic. I don't see many of them around anymore, so that's actually another thing that makes it kinda cool. It's really best used as an Aux2Bat style Beam Boat.. but it does do that very well. If that's what you're looking for, I doubt you'll be disappointed.
I do like battlecruiser/destroyer-type ships over escorts. Perhaps the Arbiter would be a better fit.
Arbiter is a great ship. I know a lot of people just get it for the trait, but on the fed side it's one of the most versatile ships you can get. It does all types of energy weapon builds and does them amazingly well. Rather it's front facing, broad siding.. whatever, the Arbiter is fantastic. I think it's an absolutely stellar ship and tough as nails.
I can only underline what @seaofsorrows recomended. If you dont have the arbiter yet it would be the one to pick. Good ship and you get the best trait in game for all your fed side chars.

I might get the Arbiter. I did enjoy my tier 5 Avenger for a LONG time.

If most of your toons are Fed or Fed-aligned, the Arbiter provides some nice toys that can carry over to your other ships. In addition to one of the best traits in the C-Store, the Arbiter's console can be mounted on any starship as of a couple months ago. I've found Ablative Hazard Shielding to be a great panic button for when my heals are cooling down and the hits keep coming. It also gives a nice bump of healing once it expires. I never leave dock without it.
For myself, I'm still heavily leaning towards the Cardassian Intel Flight-deck Cruiser since it's a cross-faction ship in a bundle whose other components I'm not terribly interested in. The Jem'Hadar Vanguard ships can also (eventually) be claimed by my non-Jem toons, but I'm not all that enthusiastic about any of them and the Gunboats are locked to Vanguard carriers, while Yukawa frigates can be used by anything, even if I hear they're not the greatest.

Got a rather stupid question... missed the first event for the marks of the coupon, but this one I plan on playing entirely. So, with another event following this one I assume, can I still reach the requested mark count??? I so want a Cardassian ship, only bought the smaller ViL pack...

Gaining access to the wide angle torpedo and trait from this ship is also tempting:

one question though... Entwined Tactical Matrices... Does Withering Barrage affect the scatter volley duration?

A new T6 Warbird. Nope, try again.

You should be able to. Though new ships would be on the black list at first, they should fall off it after some time.
Thanks.
