First off. I'm on ps4. But why isnt there more Na'kuhl stuff? They've got some of the coolest ships in the game imo, like I'd kill for one of the dreanaughts as seen in the temporal front mission. Some actual ground weapons sets and the like. I grabbed the Acheros out of the lockbox and its probly one of my favourite ships.
On PC, they had a Na'kuhl Red Alert ('Temporal Maurauders), which ushered in the All Marks Choice Box for Red Alerts. Alas, it disappeared at about the same that Red Alerts became PVE Queues. It's disappearance as well as the conversion of Red Alerts to PVE Queues was completely unannounced.
Since then, PVE Queues became Task Force Operations (TFO) and Red Alerts became once in a Blue Moon Red Alerts.

See. Now I feel that way about tholians. Cant tell you how much I hate tholians. They've been in like 4 different story arcs and I've had enough of them. The Na'kuhl though, have only been in one. But I mean everyone has they're own opinion. I'd honestly be happy if they just threw in the Na'kuhl dreadnaught.
We DO have a mission reward Na'kuhl ground gear set. I forget the name but it's that mission where you have a conference on New Romulus. AND you could in theory play it 15 times and get the full set for each member of your away team I'm not saying I recommend that course of action, but it exists.

It's "the temporal front" mission. And I have the set lol. I didn't say it right, I meant like a full range of weapons. Pistols, and rifles aswell. Not just the assault.
> @captainbmoney said: > they just need to put out the dreadnought. that thing looks beast.
And that's what I'm saying! You see them once in the story mission and once during the days of doom TFO. And it's a beastly looking ship imo. Like I said before. I'd be happy just get one of those

Yes, and the shield at least is actually very good.
The na'kuhl storyline is over and done with so there's unlikely to be anymore of their stuff in the mainstream sources, but I suppose they could end up putting the dreadnought in the R&D promos sometime just for laughs, like the did with the vaad dread. At the rate they've been running promos this year, they'll need more ships sooner or later.

They do have a few weapons from the lockbox. I have a Romulan that has a Chronoplasma Sniper Rifle and Compression Pistol. Its not the FULL range, but its more than just the one weapon from that mission.
I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!

For ground there are Chronoplasma Compression Bolt Pistols, Chronoplasma Dual Bolt Pistols, Chronoplasma Full Auto Rifles and a Chronoplasma Sniper Rifle. Plus a full set of Chronoplasma space weapons of all types from beam arrays to turrets.

I had completely forgot about the weapons packs in the infinity boxes. I used a bunch of them for my beam arrays but didnt even consider ground weapons.
I'll personally take a pass on the Na'kuhl, only because it's a timey-wimey theme. The race, ships, weaponry are are incredibly well done. It's just I'd rather a few story arcs without time jumps for a while.
Yeah, would be nice if we just would go forward again instead of spiraling backwards but as long as disco is on the plate I don't see that happening. Honestly I'm also dreading the new Picard series because it will also be in STO's "past" again and that heralds another bunch of wibbly wobbly, timey wimey stuff to integrate that.

They did give notice that red alerts were being changed.
Not the initial conversion to PVE Queues. They did give notice that they would become Events but not that they would be Queues. This I know because I have been posting about it since it first happened.

It's not too far back though. Picard's show is set in 2399 apparently, so I have hope that most things raised in the show can be implemented in STO's 2410 without issue (unless it conflicts, which is totally possible).

All canon Trek, except for some time travel episodes, is in STO's past.

Well... other than a couple things from Voyager, which were from the 29th Century, the closest we see to STO's timeline is anything with the "All Good Things" uniform that I believe is set in 2404. Although it should be interesting to note that technically part of the Anti-Time future we saw in All Good Things did come to pass, such as the Fed-Klingon War.

yeah, uh...endgame was ALSO set in 2404, and with the exception of the SC-4 shuttle, we got everything featured in those episodes in STO in one form or another - even korath

Which is why the "except for some time travel episodes."
My logic on the khearops dreadnaught is simple. We got a temporal dreadnaught. And we got a dreadnaught for nearly everyother species in the game. Why not one for the Na'kuhl. I'm not asking for a new event or nonsense like that. Just be like "hey, we added the khearops yo R&D events/infinity T6 lockboxes" something simple yaknow?
Plus, just throwing this out there. For how good the na'kuhl ships are, they kinda got treated weird as far as they're categorization went. Must be cause they're plasma ships, and someone at cryptic hates plasma lol

My character Tsin'xing
Ships not having a good design, but the na'kuhl concept as evil ones was very interesting.
Sadly the story used and forgot them very very quickly.
Too few epidodes...it was a wasted opportunity, sadly

That's presumably because none of the na'kuhl NPCs have beams, either.
They also have a sword in the lobi store.
