What is the Arc Client?

"You may not log in from this IP address" - say what?

The launcher doesn't let me log into the game giving the above error message. I have never gotten that before and logged into the game just fine yesterday. Help!

It might help to ping @ambassadorkael#6946 as I'm not sure which gentlebeing would handle launcher issues at Cryptic/PWE pig-3.gif

Huh, it seems to have resolved itself. That's odd. In any case, some googling revealed that a few years ago this happened to a lot of users so I thought maybe that's what happened again since there's no reason on my end for this to happen. But maybe it was just a little glitch.

I'm getting this error as part of a new signup. How do I resolve it? I'm just on a standard residential IP block.

reset router / modem - acquire new IP address - on residential ISP :) if still blocked (after checking for the new IP) - then continue reporting/requesting - as that is an account issue.

I just reset my connection to acquire a new address and I'm getting the same error. I think the whole range must be blocked for some reason. Who do I report this to?

Are you perhaps in a region that is not allowed?

If not, you can try calling your ISP. Explain to them that your netblock appears to be banned and perhaps they can move you to a new one. Otherwise a VPN can probably get you around it, there are a number of free ones and even the paid ones are really inexpensive.

After about 11 disconnects on Monday, I'm having the same issue and it has yet to "sort itself out" :/
