TOSlings don't have anything unique in that regard, neither Boarding Party shuttles nor fleet support or command power ships. Do Romulans? Because Jems will probably be more like Roms

They should. Any ship the three Major powers have the Dominion should also have an equivalent.

I'm pretty sure they would do that for Jem'Hadar. TOS Feds kinda make sense that they don't as they are still Fed. HOWEVER... many of the standard BOff powers have TOS versions available as well through K-13 fleet holding. I don't know if Boarding Party is part of it, but Tac, Engie, and Sci Teams are and have different visuals. Same with Tractor Beam.

TOS fleet support, photonic fleet and security escort would have greatly improved visual and audible diversity. I do think it was a mistake to not grant this.

The downside to Fleet Support/Photo Fleet is that there is no TOS equivelent to the Command Cruisers that get summoned unless they somehow make an NPC version of the Prototype Dreadnought.
The Security Escort... yea I can see that being a nice flavor change. But they had BETTER make them Redshirts rather than just Tactical, which technically would be gold in TOS uniforms.
I think it's "just" (I know nothing is as easy in programming) a model switch. The photonic CBCs aren't "real" CBC mobs as they don't use any abilities. They are still Typhoon mobs that got a skin swap. Fleet support is the same as they don't use pets. The proto dread would indeed be the equivalent to that.

By the time you get fleet support your already in the current timeline.

I'm looking forward to a Polaron Orbital Strike.
It is a very pretty purple indeed.
Sry to bother you with this, but I have a question, speaking of purple and polaron, and regarding the new vanguard gunboats hangar pets, why they use standard polaron flavor? In the show the jem'hadar ships used phased polarons flavor actually. Can we have the pets updated with these, or at least with dominion polaron flavor instaid of vanilla? Many hangar pets use their faction specific flavor like iconian herald hangar pets, elachi hangar pets and so on...

Which is a nonsense argument (always has been, from the beginning) since your character still uses TOS transporter effects, tricorders and phasers. The whole AoY "expansion" wasn't thought through at all. Besides, TOS ships are T6 and completely en-par with "modern" ones, thanks to "temporal shenenigans".

I have no objection, just guessing at Cryptics possible reasons.

The more interesting option would be to let players create their own Photonic/Fleet Support ships and Security Escorts.

Yes - this should already be the case on Tribble.
It is a very pretty purple indeed.

Awesome thank you.
Yeah I completely forgot about that. Yeah a Jem'Hadar 1000 day ship would be a great addition. Haven't heard anything about an upcoming one though.
They said there won't be one at launch, so you might be waiting a while.
