When you purchase the Elite Starter Pack, the following will unlock for your whole account:
One new Character Slot - on maxed out acc's too ?
20 Shared Bank Slots - on maxed out acc's too ?
5 Captain Retrain Tokens - nice
An Increase on your Energy Credit Cap to 2 billion Energy Credits - need
Once the initial product is purchased, a new product will appear called Elite Starter Pack Reclaim. This can be claimed once per character and unlocks:
30 Inventory Slots - on maxed out toons too ?
60 Bank Slots - on maxed out toons too ?
2 Bridge Officer Slots - ok
What about Bonus Zen?
You will continue to receive this bonus as long as you are a subscriber. - so as lifer + sub ,do we get 1k z per month ?
when will the potato man be editable again ?

seems they nuked it.
looks like you need to buy the LTS now... unless you were paid up for a year or so... did they offer year long subs?
Is there any way to get a sub refund so one can buy that pack or get those retrain tokens? Even 1 would suit my needs.
nope, i doubt it very much.
well now you can grind out the zen for it wil dill and buy it.
I may do that on my alt accounts... thou the thought of burning up all that dil for zen... 250 dil per zen would mean I need 3.75 million dil for 15,000 zen. 375k dill for 1,500 zen. (one too many zero's)
Lifer has always been the sub so it will remain at 500 zen a month stipend not an extra 500 on top.

Yeah, I am 14 day to go for 1000 days sub, does this mean I am loosing the 1000 day benefits or as I am already subscribed I will still get them, sub payment was taken about 5 days ago.
if payment was taken 5 days ago and you have 14 days to go... then you should be good. I wouldnt worry so long as your math on sub days is correct. you need to be paying the month fee for 34 months total.
Always amazed people actually do a monthly subscribe for 1000 days. That's about $500. You could have bought 2 LTS during a sale and still had $100 leftover.
What happens to monthly subscriptions now?
They will no longer be available on our website. If you have a monthly subscription currently, it will continue and you will receive all of the benefits of that subscription. You can still cancel that subscription at any time.
So you monthly subbies *who are currently subscribed* CAN continue to pay to reach the next veteran reward, then drop.
The only people who are out of luck are ones who cancelled their sub but were planning to re-sub someday.
somethings folks find it easier to pay in smaller installments cause they dont have a large lump sum to spend.
I have the LTS, is it worth getting this? Would I get in addition to what I have now

Could I use this to help max out the Inventory, Bank and Bridge Officer Slots for all my Alts? Or is it worthless for a LTS player?
Keep paying for as long as you need to, in the FAQ on the blog it's stated that current subscriptions are not canceled and you can continue them for as long as you'd like for the rewards. If you've just recently canceled (for some reason) and need to re-sub...I might reach out directly to Ambassador Kael. It would have been nice for folks in your position (maybe) to have received some warning that this change was incoming.

Worthless for LTS. You will not get extra bonus. Only way to increase slots either buy some more account bank slots, use your fleet banks or create another mule account.

Contact support to see if they could recommend something to help. They might be nice enough and just bump you up to 1000 days since you are close enough. They should give an exclusive title for any player that get the Chimera without buying a LTS or a costume shirt that says I monthly subscribed for 1000 days and all I got was this lousy T-shirt.
tried it out, and find that you did not get extra bonus (inventory slots, bank slots, shared account bank slots, BO slots)?
I'm a LTS, and also tickled to buy the Elite Starter Pack, but only if the bonuses work for someone who is already a LTS !

More likely they just want to streamline/unify their account and marketing. STO was the ONLY Cryptic game still allowing monthly subscriptions. With this move they now have STO operating like their other successful MMO - Neverwinter. Rumor is, they are working on yet another MMO to be released in the future, and this 'starter pack' paradigm is how they want to operate going forward.

No, you're fine. Current Subs continue.
In short, if you have already MAXED the slots, you WILL NOT get anymore! The System will or should not let you purchase this it if you have MAX SLOTS, as it usually does with the individual Slot increases. Nowhere does it even mention bonus Zen. That is a Sub and LTS perk that will continue unaffected.
This has nothing to do with subscribing at all, despite reference to it in the article. The Monthly subs are continuing as normal, but there will no longer be any NEW subs available. This pack is just a mini account wide slot booster that has a permanent benefit of a one-time Reclaimable pack on each toon.
The vast majority of my subscribed days are from when game first went live many years ago before game went F2P and was still subbed for a while after F2P came in before stopping payments, I stopped playing for about 5 years after that.
I too am curious if this new pack will give me more bank slots, I have only bought extra slots on my main but have 8 other alts that could benefit from the extra bank slots.
