That Crossfield is particularly impressive, which unfortunately means the Exchange price is likely going to stay ridiculous for a long time. Need to open a couple of dozen boxes to make up the Lobi for the Walker, so I guess Rngesus is getting a blood sacrifice or two first lol.
Can you use BoP frigates on the ship of the dead carrier?
wild guess no. they can only be used of the voquv, and I see nothing saying the new ship is any different. also we really didn't need yet another fight unlock. we have enough of those.
if I stop posting it doesn't make you right it. just means I don't have enough rum to continue interacting with you.
So, is there no set bonus for having all three consoles this time? Seems odd because even with the Kevlin lockbox, there was a set bonus for getting all four consoles.
Science Vanguard seems to mean Science Vessel with extra weapon slot and extra hull? Any drawbacks?
Other than lack of a commander tac station and only four tac consoles? No drawbacks that I can see. This is really the first time since the game launched that I've ever really been mad (not disappointed or frustrated, but really genuinely angry) about something the devs have done. So congrats to the design team on this one, I guess.
Whether you like or dislike Discovery these ships' designs & appearances imo are well done. To me stat-wise it all seems decent & the biggest surprise are the Sarcophacus' Mo'Kais. I like the little unique touch Cryptic gave to them. Not enough for me to indulge anymore in the gambling/losing nonsense since I've learned my lesson there, but still nice different touch. This gambling lock box offers the same ol' same ol' but with a different paint job besides the space weapons which were impressive. I might've missed it being confirmed, can Romulans use these ships pending their alignment?

Stats look quite similar to the Paradox.
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.

Basically makes Science ships obsolete...Science ship with a 7th weapon slot and 4 tac consoles. So makes basic Science ships unless...
Can't have a honest conversation because of a white knight with power
Not till everyone and their dog has the trait, then they'll nerf it!
Good point...nerf coming in 1,000,000,000...999,999,999...999,999,998....
Yeah I'm sure there's some arbitrary number that has to be met first in sales/use before Cryptic "nerfs" it, but such things are never considered beforehand.

Well I applaud Cryptic's, so far, reach-around attempts in having T7 but not official T7 ships. Miracle Worker ships & this Discovery Science Vanguard are creative attempts at such smoke & mirrors. It makes me more appreciative & surprised Cryptic had the decency of going-back to give those previous Escorts the Experimental Weapon Slot.

Yeah releasing and having the cajones to call a ship T7 is just bad marketing and PR, considering how toxic the idea of T6 ships became to the whiners. Cryptic is smart enough to not to brand any ship a T7 ship.
When you see "TRIBBLE" in my posts, it's because I manually typed "TRIBBLE" and censored myself.

1.25 shield mod, no built-in mechanic like reconstruction on the Eternal, and no hangar like the 4/3 sci dreads. It's basically a sci ship that wants to be a cruiser, and doesn't particularly strike me as t7 in the way miracle ships do.
Edit: Also, no cloak like the Daemosh. Sci ship that trades shields for hull.
So, the "most massive and powerful Intelligence vessel ever offered" aka Walker class appearently comes with.... 1 Ensign Intelligence slot. That seems to me like some over the top advertisement right there.

My question is the base 4 turn rate of the Sarcophagus Dreadnaught Carrier correct?
wild guess no. they can only be used of the voquv, and I see nothing saying the new ship is any different. also we really didn't need yet another fight unlock. we have enough of those.

Well the turn rate could be better I suppose...especially since it can use cannons, not that anyone would use them.
Don't be silly, they'd never do that!

It's a true sci-scort!
Hate to burst your bubble.. but Discovery is Canon, nothing you can say or do will change that.
You mean The Last Jedi equivalent of the Highlander series?
