    so i love free stuff and it is good they celebrate the creation of star trek, but i have noticed that compared to the last few give aways this one kind of sucks....
    5 boxes ok kool (a small small chance of a ship) 10k dil (i think we all have enough by now) 2 tech upgrades(can always be used) and now 200 marks (such a great amount) i remember the give aways were good when they gave away tier 1-4 ships uniforms emotes items ship slots etc etc etc. this one just seems to be lacking in grandure compared to the rest.

    Not everyone has enough refined Dil. Newer players and those that don't play as often don't. Also did you miss the first day when they gave away 4 uniforms? It seems like you're not fully informed and don't feel like these are good for you rather than are these good for the majority of the game.

    Okay, I'm not hating on freebies, but 200 marks for only one reputation is a bit lacking since anyone can get 200 marks for just 10 minutes of shooting things. It seems the give aways are going down hill very fast. First, 4 different outfits....GREAT. 5 Phoenix packs.....fair enough. Then 10k refined dil.....meh, now only 200 marks......almost a pass. I really hope there are BIGGER things coming for the rest of the week.

    Not to nitpick but should this have been per character not per account? Don’t get me wrong Its better than nothing.

    The Uniforms were Account unlocks, the Phoenix Prize Packs after opening are Account-bound, Refined Dilitium can be transferred around the Account, Marks are Character Bound.

    I found those marks very useful for my newer toon (who can't collect marks that easily yet).

    And not everyone has a lot of marks either. So it's per account, it's still free. My F2P thanks Cryptic very much!

    This seems like it would have been a better opening day thing.

    Free stuff is free and that's not something I want to complain about, but 200 marks isn't as... I'll say "exciting" for lack of a better word, as some of the other stuff that we have had.

    Thank you for the free marks. I'd also like to say thanks for putting in the rewards for the older missions. My new Reman and Breen bridge officers look good on away missions. Just sorry I missed the Day 1 free uniform gifts.

    Yeah, the progression's been a little backwards here. They literally topped all of their previous costume giveaways... and then it got progressively worse from there. I'm not very optimistic about the rest anymore. :neutral:

    Thanks a lot for the free marks - stuff is always welcome. And I for one cannot get them in 10 minutes (though even if I could).

    Although I may be mistaken, but I am sure I didn't click on "Iconian Marks" but still got them. Cannot rule out a PEBKAM issue though.

    Well, I for one can use the marks so thank you very much.

    As for how "good" this freebie is compared to the others, I will agree it's not on the same level as the 4 free uniforms, the 5 free Phoenix boxes or the 10k refined Dilithium. But, it's still free and useful so it's better than nothing, by a large margin.

    Now, as for the remaining giveaways, I suspect the one tomorrow will be rather good as I get the feeling that it will be available throughout the weekend. I doubt they will have new freebies on Saturday or Sunday. Expect something new on Monday that will end on Tuesday morning, thus ending the 8 days of giveaways.

    When they have had these week of giveaways type events in the past, that's usually how it's worked. I could be wrong but I'll err on the side of expecting less and if given more, I will be even more thankful.

    Well, that and the fact that this is only day 4 of an 8-day period of giveaways. That's, what, twice the normal length of such events? Have patience, and don't expect anything t6 or really recent.

    Yes for Competitive marks, can't ever get enough of those as the elite ground queue pops so very rarely.
