All of my toons have finally cuaght up with there reputation systems even the competitive one. I was planing to skip that one but I've managed to do it any way.
So any way as the title says is there a new one coming soon?
We will get a new reputation system when we get a new enemy faction to fight... best guess... the next rep will come with the next expansion sometime in June/July.
Cryptic likes to stagger things like reputations, specializations, and fleet holdings, so people aren't too bogged down with a bunch of new stuff to level.
sounds good could use a nice long break from the game except when the anniversery comes on or the grinding events like CE and mirror event
Reputations release with the release of a new Season or Expansion. There was normally around six or slightly more months between them. Except that Season 12 released with the Lukari in late January 2017 and three months later at the end of April 2017 we had Season 13 and the Competitive Reputation. We have not had one since, so perhaps with Season 15 after the Anniversary we will get one.

There's going to be a season 14.5, as per the last priority one podcast interview in december.
As others have stated, reputations usually come with the release of a new season or new expansion. This last season is the first time since Reputations were introduced that we didn't get one. They are obviously slowing the release of new reps down.
Edit: Between the last rep which competitive (and the first that it wasn't a new "enemy" rep), and the one befrore which was for the Tzenkethi, we haven't really had a new enemy to fight major battles with.
Season 14.5 will likely come near the end of January and Season 15 by late April or early May.

>Hating on the Competitive rep when it had some of the most fun queues in STO
I actually enjoyed the ground one as it had actual puzzles to solve in order to progress. The problem was that not everyone even knew how to do a basic Invisible Floor puzzle that tends to come up in many RPGs and default to "shoot all the things".
I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!

ISA is the most fun queue in STO its why its so popular
Wrong. ISA is the most run queue because its short, and gives overly generous rewards. fun has nothing to do with it.
I disagree. It's still run because its fun to shoot borg and it doesn't have overly annoying objectives. The rewards don't even matter. Most players completed their omega reputation long ago.
I wouldn't complain about Reputation Factions in STO. LOTRO has 42 Factions, 4 of which (Crafting Guild included) need 280,000 Faction Rep XP, the rest needing 85,000 (one 95,000). Additionally, there are 'Sub-Factions', 6 requiring 85,000, and 8 needing only 10,000 Rep XP.
Quests and Deeds will award specific Faction Rep XP (300, 500, 700, 900, or 1200). Turning in specific landscape trash for Tasks will award XP towards specific Factions (300). Special drop items from Mobs in the earlier Reputations will also award specific Faction Rep XP (30, 50, or 700). There are Reputation Accelerators which double the amount of Rep XP until consumed. Those are Store Purchases for LOTRO Points (think Zen) or purchasable through the Skirmish Vendors for Marks.
Getting to various levels in a Reputation will award Travel or Vendor discounts and allow for the purchase of specific items using Faction specific 'coin'.
So grind is a very relative term depending on what 'floats your boat'.

I have no doubt we get the next one in first half of 2018. The developer's creativity will surely lead them to a twelfth reputation after the eleven we got so far.

It really is time for something completely new. Adding new reputations and specializations are getting a bit long in tooth. More story line is all fine and good but can be played through in less than a week. Stagnant development will eventually lead to a stagnant game. To borrow three words from posters above: creativity, innovation, and renewal. Think a fair dose of all three is needed.

Except, we have yet to see anything on tribble regarding Season 14.5 yet. Last year, we had the R&D Kit module school and the expansion to the Alpha Quadrant on tribble sometime around December around the same time the winter wonderland was being tested, and the rest of season 12 was released around January for testing.

There's a fourth word that all three need; will. Is there the will to reinvigorate the game?

I always love seeing posts like this because people rarely actually post any realistic ideas, if any at all.
It's easy to say the game needs innovation and creativity, its much harder to actually suggest what form that would take.
I'm glad you love seeing posts like this. There seems to be quite a few as of late.
By the way, you missed renewal as well as the most important word:

Are you actually trying to imply that people do ISA for Omega marks when ISA and CCA are mostly run as a means to get more Dil/fleet marks?
I haven't played ISA in a while? Was a change made to allow you to select fleet marks from it because in the past, this wasn't true.
When you see "TRIBBLE" in my posts, it's because I manually typed "TRIBBLE" and censored myself.

We're getting one. Gives us a wide range of different sets for many kinds of playstyles.

Its the EASIEST. Not the most fun. That is why it is so popular.
