ST: Attack Wing - Vizier Class

Hey guys

So i'm a huge fan of the Sovereign and i own virtually all of the variants in game except for the Vizier Class that comes with the ST: Attack Wing Reprint of the Enterprise-E.

The problem is i can't find anywhere that has it in stock or at a fair price. It seems everyone has bought them all up and is now selling them on eBay at 10 times the price. I even saw one being sold at £258, yeah rip off.

Does anyone know anywhere that this is still available??? Or any other way of getting the Vizier Class code???

Thanks

The only way to get the Vizier class code is through the attack wing thing. And as of right now your only option is to get it from ebay, unless they do a reissue and those sell out pretty fast.

If you're just looking for the Vizier skin (7b, there's no exclsuive parts), you could get the fleet version. This does not come with the mostly-useless trait or the console though.

They're almost impossible to get for a reasonable price.

cheapest one on ebay is around $40, just an fyi. Probably the cheapest you'll see it.

I just got a call from my local game store about 10 days ago that my order had come in and I could come down and pick it up for $15. I already had one from another store so I told them to release it back into the general pool for the next person on the waiting list. The second printing is out and does seem to have a code, so hopefully others will be getting similar calls.

this is the third printing @nikeix . There was one in December of last year as well.

got mine too, just last wednesday, i got them from my local game store, waited so long and they told me it was on backlog, either order from wizkids or go to your local store, they know who or where to get them.

i heard akron ohio may have more in stock, sorry, forgot name, might be "jester's somehing" not sure if it was den, box, or emperoium. seem to be headquarter for tournaments/championships.

Word on the grapevine is ALL repaint Enterprise-E packs will come with the code so... reserve one and be patient?

Still waiting for mine that I preordered back in November.

Nowhere here in the UK has them, so I am unlikely to ever see one....

Purely hypothetical question here, would it be against the TOS to trade a code (just the code) with someone for another ingame item?

no; you just can't sell ingame stuff for real money - trading a code which unlocks an ingame item for another (or ingame currency) is perfectly fine

whatever someone's willing to pay for it...but for a rough value, i'd say maybe the EC equivalent to 15$ worth of master keys, or maybe 30$ since that's the standard pricing for c-store T6 ships

If one were to show up on the display pegs at my locale store, I was planning to ask 20 keys for the code. Buy your zeni and keys wisely and that's pretty sedate.

Well, I have 4 I was planning to put on eBay but figured I'd check to see if there would be any chance of getting a universe class out of it, doesn't sound likely though. EBay it is I guess

I had ordered 2 of the Sovereigns. I used one code for myself and sold the other for 400M EC. It let me buy some other ships I wanted from the Exchange. :)

someone actually bought it at 400m? well, there you go, mark - all four codes and you'll have the EC you need for a universe, and have 100m left over to boot

So glad you used 'actually' instead of 'for only'. Always feared if I sold it for too little; seeing how they sold out everywhere so fast! It's not like there was any posted on the Exchange to give me a ballpark figure to shoot for. ;) I bought 2 because I wanted 2 game pieces since I actually collect the Star Trek Attack Wing stuff. If I had known about the code, I'd have pre-ordered more!

Unfortunately unless you can find this ship in a local store, you will probably have to pay an inflated price on ebay. I just checked (searched "star trek attack wing enterprise e") and you are looking at a minimum of $50.
  • malakim#7441 malakim Member Posts: 4 Arc User
Actually, one place you might want to look is Amazon. I actually snagged two from a third-party seller there for MSRP+shipping. And both ships had the codes... so yeah, have a spare one now. Whee!

looking at amazon now it looks like the cheapest one is $50.

I thought about trading them in game but I didnt think players would have trust. They not knowing if its a good code but having to hand over an item like EC or even a ship then I mail them the code in game or in chat while were trading. Ebay can and will drive the cost of the ship up.
    Positive thoughts.

Ordered mine back in November before Thanksgiving from a local store that sells WizKids. The owner told me they were on back order and went ahead and put my name on the list to get one. The store owner just called me 2 days ago and said my order had just came in and I only paid $15 for it. I picked it up today and it has the code inside for the Vizier Class T6 Assault Cruiser. So glad I did that and waited for the reprint, I'm enjoying the ship in game tonight as I already have the Intel Assault Cruiser T6 Archon Class.

Yeah, was worried about that too. Guy paid me half, I gave him the code, he tried it and said he had a problem claiming it! Was starting to sweat. He closed/opened his ARC again and then the code worked. (Thanks for the heart attack PWE!) Then he gave me the other half of payment. It would be really nice if there was a fool-proof way to trade a code, but only way to know it's good it to use it. Too bad we can't call an in-game GM to facilitate the trade.

For a GM to facilitate a trade like that, we'd actually have to not only have in game GMs, but they'd need a means to verify that the code being offered in exchange for in game stuff like ECs or even a lockbox/lobi ship is a valid code.

In all honesty though... I'd probably only trade a promo code like that with people I know personally and trust if I was to try something like this.

Except for the fact that codes are non transferable and it's actually against the TOS to sell it.

I believe they are talking about trading unused codes. A used code is locked to the account that it was used on.

Anyways... obtaining one is up to the people who want one. How they do that is up to them. As long as it is an honest and honorable trade and not a scam. If people try and scam others, I take issue.
I was frickin' lucky as HELL to pick mine up in November. Only Attack Wing set I ever got a copy of. Don't plan on getting any more. Just keeping an eye out for local friends and letting them know if one's out.

Of course they were, no one sells 'used codes.'

The code entitles the original buyer to the item, it's against the TOS to sell the code to someone else. You're supposed to either use it or discard it.

Of course, that's not how it works.. people sell codes all the time, but the last thing you should want to do if you're selling a code is get a Cryptic Employee to help 'facilitate the transaction.'
