Encountering what seems like a high amount of slackers in the events. Running multiple Breach events a day, many of them have members who are not performing as a team. Some hang back and let others do the work, some race to the door without handling the integrity nodes.
Five people in the event. Everyone should be participating in every part.
....and please do not shoot the ?

I praise those dudes, I hate racing with my dreads. Also just sit at the inner chamber's door, I will kill the subpower core alone if your eyesight is too weak to see the "?" mark. rofl...
i have better things to do with my time and a daily run already takes over 5 hours as it is

A normie goes "Oh, what's this?"
An otaku goes "UwU, what's this?"
A furry goes "OwO, what's this?"
A werewolf goes "Awoo, what's this?"
"It's nothing personal, I just don't feel like I've gotten to know a person until I've sniffed their crotch."
"We said 'no' to Mr. Curiosity. We're not home. Curiosity is not welcome, it is not to be invited in. Curiosity...is bad. It gets you in trouble, it gets you killed, and more importantly...it makes you poor!"
You don't get a SINGLE additional mark from destroying hardpoints and integrity nodes. If you really run the event multiple times a day you should have noticed by now. The first part of the run can't be over quickly enough.
Ships in the subcore room do count for marks, and you might as well rescue them while taking out the Voth ships in there so that they don't put you in red alert. I had wondered if they were shooting the false cores, but they basically never get high enough to even be able to target them.
In my experience, Breach pays 106 base marks (without bonus from daily or bonus pool) on advanced if everyone escapes at the end, regardless of how many or how few hardpoints are destroyed. The way I see it, a partially completed optional adds nothing to rewards. It's not an open-ended objective like rescuing ships or players escaping: optionals are either completed or they are not.
So in the interest of not reducing other people's rewards, I want to know: does destroying integrity nodes increase the reward? If not, I'll keep rushing like an evil rusher.
and on those rare occasions when it glitches out and i end up with 6 players escaped instead of 5, it goes up to 172

Perfectly good strategy. Not worth the trouble anyway. Speed builds make the runs go fast.
They do not increase rewards. There are not enough hardpoints and integrity nodes for us to destroy to get to 100% on the "exterior assault" objective. It can't be completed and therefore does not pay out any rewards. Whether you are at 75% or 0% is irrelevant.
There's no point in doing the integrity node thing and it's impossible to get the optional for it, unless you actually wait for the weak points to reappear again.
For max speed, you'd have the players split up, 1 per core opening them up ASAP and the other 2 killing the voth in the left gap (which are close enough to aggro and interrupt the left core-opener) then moving to assist killing the cores. The voth in the back are far enough they won't aggro if nobody goes near them. Obviously such coordination can never be expected in a pug, but it would be nice to at least see someone else opening the cores with me instead of shooting voth.
Ended up having two teammates complaining about failing the optional of reaching 100% [by the time I reached the door, while going fast and having faw for the lulz, we were at 40% or so]
I was confused why people would get upset about it, so I asked why they were. Turned out they were convinced the optional would give extra marks. But based on what I have seen as reward payouts from the last 40 or so breaches I did, it can not be more then 5 marks, if any. So I asked, if they really cared that much about the 5 marks? That remark made me an “elitist twat” so I just laught and carried on.
Afterwards they reported me for 'exploiting' [doing the breach fast] and 'team harassment' [asking if they cared so much about the 5 marks].
PUG's, just when I thought they could not get worse, the universe has to prove me wrong. Back to the usual business of ignoring teammates and do what has to be done.
Seriously the people that insist on shooting the ? are more annoying
"Let them eat static!"
I do feel however when I'm doing the trench run in my Mat'Ha cannonboat that I am almost useless to the team, aside from the big hardpoint areas, it's really annoying compared to my beamboats.
That and being a fleet leader I feel obliged to instantly welcome any new fleet members, which has led to me being stuck in a wall once or twice. But that's my not being able to wait, not the fault of anyone else. I always catch up though.
Generally though its a near simple textbook run every time, even on advanced.
Even pets annoyingly attacking the "?" isn't that bad really, tac team, evasive, sorted.
Give me breach over endless afk'ers in Mirror Invasion any day.
"If this will be our end, then I will have them make SUCH an end as to be worthy of rememberance! Out of torpedos you say?! Find me the ferengi!".
Aside from that, I do what I can in the trenches, my ship is slow, so most is gone by the time i get there.
I do know to avoid the ? core. I have noticed the NPC fed ships firing on the ? core tho.
I once saw a team member ask if we wanted to wait for nodes to respawn to get 100% on the option. I closed the chat window and continued on. I guess I'm a poor team player.
If the old version where you had to destroy enough to make the 'Breach' appear was running, then your point on that would have more substances, but I should mention that sometimes, if someone races to the 'breach' and we're not even at the second node, we can't jump till we have. It is a pain.
As for the ships and the ? cores....I've lost count of the time I've told people to rescue the ships whilst fighting, and not to shoot them cores. i have noticed that the damage inflicted by shooting one has increased, so perhaps an uber-FBP to kill that person...maybe that way then will then lose. Although to be honest, I would find it hilarous if destroying a ? core resulted in mission failure....lol
And as for those that sit there at the start....sorry, I'll just report you. There is not excuse for not participating. Cryptic should spawn ships there to encourage participation, or incorporate a system AFK-auto-kick that many other MMO games have. It seem people are more concerned about their reward for doing nothing, than actually being helpful.
Hell if they reworked the stf so that we start at the hanger-bay door lock, and then while we go thru the corridors leading to the three/four rooms (hanger bay one, hanger bay two, sub gen room, and also the main gen room) we can destroy hardpoints in that are to weaken the door that leads into the room it would make sense. Hell they could have had the room setup slightly random, where you have the trench an the main gen room, but than you might get either the sub-gen room or one of the two older hanger bays as the third room to make the run more interesting.
