I have been "unlucky" with a bug that disconnected or client-crashed me during transfers/teleports a once in a while...
but the last few days it seems to gone up to every transfer, and even just standing still and chatting with people isn't save.
the only positive thing is... it crashes so good I don't get a error report window anymore.
the bad thing I have a character that would really like the event ship....
I've checked all my systems drivers, the network gear, cables, rebooted it in all kind of different orders.
Frequent disconnects are still happening over the last 4 days for me. Its making getting the event ship harder, but it is manageable. The disconnects are still getting frequent with rubber banding issues as well. Hope there is a fix for it soon.
Yeah its back with a bang..A galore of DC's..Its like lets go to the bar, get there and boom, your back where you were first.. and so is everything around..SNR's are also cropping up a bit too many times in the last 3-4 days..
I'm the same, major rubber banding, random disconnects, maps not loading, not being able to beam up or start anything. I have done a trace and packet loss trace.

The value after the ip address is the amount of data lost in a percentage, after doing a whois 198.49.243.252 is cryptic with 92% packet loss. The problem isn't the game server but just before that, the whois for the ip comes back with something interesting, the naming.

Anyone noticing an unusually high amount of disconnects? It's getting to the point where I cannot even connect to the account server to pick a toon...
Over the last four days. Usually ten to twenty minutes after logging in/re-logging I get a SNR, the booted from the game.
I figured it was my ISP, since Time-Warner sold out to another company and servers were being updated and new fiber-optic cable was being laid in many areas. They've been having spotty service reliability on the East Coast as a result.; But I'm not sure what the real deal is.
It's just getting seriously annoying. To the point where I'm losing the urge to play at all.
I have login timeouts problems since the beginning of the anniversary event. Can't even log in between 8:30 am to 9 pm pacific time. I only get login timeouts. I can only play now between 10:30 pm to 6:30 am pacific. My internet connection is fine, I'm getting tired of this, any ideas why is this happening?

Yeah, I started to play STO again after I've been away for bout 1/2 year or more. But I have strange disconnections (it seems like every hour). I can Log in normally then, after I get disconnected. It can be annoying, specialy if you are in the middle of tme mission. But in my case, it realy seems like I'm disconnected every hour of playing. And I don't have connection problem, if I can watch TV for hours via internet. So it must be game server problem or something like that.

It is frustrating especially while using the Exchange, store or tailoring Boffs and ships.
