I got the free ship this time. Some facts about me for the internet detectives:
I have never received an email ship before
I used arc one (1) time when it first came out to get the khan burka thing and then never again after.
I have never messed with my email preferences
I log on almost every day
I have a LTS
I haven't bought zen
I am a pillar of the community
Interesting...I haven't gotten either ship the Sovereign or the Nagus

I have used arc a few times to collect rewards, but normally just use the sto launcher

No one knows who the f%&k I am outside my fleet.
another big mistake cryptic.
im taking offence as other thousands of players who didnt get ship.
if you giving ship, give it for all players, not for choosen randomly. or tell us criteria.
because they expect you to be skilled enough in the use of a computer to be able to use 2 key combinations...that being ctrl +c and ctrl + v
you know...the two key combinations that even computer NOVICES know how to use?
Actually, I wasn't at my computer, I was on my phone, and at first, no matter how/where I was holding the code, it would not highlight it, something was going on and the HTML wasn't playing nice. I then decided to see if the link would "remember" the code so I wouldn't be too enter anything, but got sent to an ARC Defender page as soon as I signed in. Pulled out the tablet to retrieve that code, because I've found it I jump off the ARC Defender page, it refreshes and the code is no longer valid. Finally got to the Redeem page and, Nope, it didn't carry the code over, but hey, I have my email already open right here...
Can't copy/paste from one device to another, had to type it in.
Not to mention, there are other cases where copy/paste isn't a valid option, so it's just good design to eliminate such ambiguity.
Also, mine was a passing comment, not really deserving of the nasty snark you decided to respond with, hope you are over whatever your problem was when you posted this, and aren't still being a total jerk, @shadowfang240

Here we go again with another 'mystery promo' that only rewards certain players with no clear criteria whatsoever.
It's fine, I didn't get one and I know I'll never get anything from these promos. After 4 years of not being deemed important enough, I have come to expect it. Apparently, PWE feels that promos like this do more good then harm, all I ever see it do is generate ill will from those that don't receive the item.
It's not a ship that I really want anyway, I just wish they would stop with these 'rewarding a select few' style promotions. All it does is generate hostility from those not included.

That was me, Druk. Not about having to type a code, I made a passing comment based on the fact that I had to type the code (from one device to another) and got it wrong because the lowercase "l" looked like a capital "I." After a moment of "Oh TRIBBLE, broken codes..." I tried changing to the lowercase option. In my defence, it was the only lowercase letter in the code. In response, several people responded with "Ctrl-C/V" (which wouldn't have helped me anyways) but Shadowfang went overboard considering it was a passing remark, not a full on rant.

Are people sure they have email set up that gives permission for PWE to send spam to? That is the only thing I can think of right now.
You do get a fair bit of spam, though normally around big updates.

The T6 Intel Sovereign is still obtainable through the C-Store, so players don't have to miss out on the ship. The Nagus Marauder, however, isn't obtainable through any other means.

I didn't get the ship but in the promotions tab of the online store I got my 10 spec points. Better then nothing, I'm not sure I'd fly that ship even if I did get it. I'm a sub by the way so maybe it's for people who hardly play or not sub'd and paying for ships already.

This is the second time I have gotten a ship through an email promo. The other ship I got was the T6 Andromeda cruiser. This one looks to be lots of fun to play and I don't really do Blue Side any more, lol. As to why I got it, I have no idea nor any clue as to the criteria Cryptic uses for these types of giveaways. Nor do I care. There are lots of people with lots of items or ships I really want which I'll never be able to get.
Big Deal. Game's still fun to play after all these years. People got the Golden Ferengi ship the same way I got this one. Which I did not get. If I got all jealous and upset in public over a free item in an MMO, I think my priorities would need some serious re-arranging.

Disagree .. this isn't any "giveaway " due to the complete randomness - apparently - on who gets the email. Those folks get the ship free while others have to spend $$ to get it in the Z-store . I'd find that acceptable if it wasn't totally random but based on a set of criteria ( so folks would know why they didn't get this email ) . I didn't get the email and to be frank : I'm mad about this "promotion " ( not because of the fact I didn't get it but because there isn't any reason whatsoever given on why not ..it's completely random)
got email but already bought ship (Archon Class) during the charge promo sale... should of given out the Command version instead... oh well least the alt/mule account is good (maybe, need to check their emails).

Couldn't give a Targ's *ss about the ship: I got ships up the wazoo. But 10 spec points is a lot; like, what, a month or so endless grinding?! That stings.

I'm exactly the same as you. I've been flying my "free" Andromeda on my main for ages and have had a lot of fun with it. After seeing this post, I checked my email and, sure enough, I've got the code for the T6 Sovereign waiting for me. I don't think I've ever done anything really special so have no clue why I got either ship, but any free ship is a free ship so who am I to complain.
