Why do people think they'll actually rerun the T6 Connie promo?
I believe that was a once in a lifetime thing for Star Trek Online due to the 50th anniversary.
If you want one Pay The Man because what's out there is all that's left.
I have to say, I agree. I think the Kelvin lockbox and TOS promo ships were one-and-done for the 50th. I'd honestly like to be wrong so more people could get their chance to have what they want, but I don't necessarily have faith another chance is going to come around.
"I'm sorry, I can't hear you over the sound of how awesome I am."
Vampeiyre might have a point about the Kelvin box and the TOS Promo.. much as I would love a Temporal D7 (always loved the D7's look)
I mean hell, when they posted the announcement for the Infinity Lock Box rerun, they just copy and pasted the LAST Infinity post. Now, whether that was an entirely foolish Oversight, or simply refusing to put the Kelvin ships in the box rotation, is yet to be determined. I'd LIKE to think it was an oversight on their part and they plan to Fix the error, but I'm not holding my breath.
Hell, you Fed boys think you have it harsh, look at the Naj'Sov - There are Technically KDF Science ships out there, the Gorn ships, they all function like Science ships, including 2nd Deflector and all the bells and whistles. Did the Devs give us a tie-in with the Varanus? No, of course not, because a tie-in for the KDF, even if they have something in Tier 5 that would count, just doesn't happen, that requires actual Consideration for the Klingon players.
Romulans have a Science ship as well, the Ha'Nom Guardian Warbird, but it doesn't have a console to tie in.. but even then, it'd be nice to have that connected to their T6 Science Vessel.
I dunno, I get annoyed with STO's oversights for other factions a little more than their promos. Not like there's a tie-in for Star Trek Attack Wing miniature that gives you a ship in STO for the Klingons or Romulans, but That's just SOP for them. It's when they go and make a pack that ties in for the Feds, but doesn't even consider the OTHER factions having ships that could be tied in just the same, that annoys the hell out of me some days.
T6 Jupiter Carrier - where's our T6 Vo'Quv?
T6 Excelsior - what about a T6 K't'inga?
But this problem was there even before T6 started compounding the issue, with Fed getting shiny toys while the rest of us get Nothing. I get it, Fed's got a massive number of players, but can't we just get a fair level tie in with things? Would it have been so hard to come up with a T6 Vo'Quv, or a T6 K't'inga, or a T6 Varanus? They went and designed the Naj'Sov, they could have had the decency to at least gone with a tie-in to existing Klingon ships and consoles. Or the Negh'tev, which annoyed us because hey, it's not like the Vor'Cha class was seen frequently in TNG as the lead of the KDF battlecruiser classes, and it would have had a console to tie in with.
Yes, Romulans, I'm with you on the "Hey, the T6 Warbird in that should have been the D'Deridex" - trust me, that one bugged me too.
At least when the Feds get their T6 upgraded ships, they tie into existing designs and consoles to provide some continuity.
Frankly OP the way it was done was the biggest middle finger to fans of Trek. Good luck finding one I do wish you luck on that. The TOS T-6 Constitution was made so rare it's not funny but the JJ Abrhams ships are as common as dirt. What a slap in the face to those who supported Trek in all it's versions for 50 years.

Well, the JJ-Prise WILL end up as part of a future Infinity Lockbox at some point. The T6 Connie (and in full disclosure I got one the first night for 880 million EC [Combo of Keys and EC] - and thought I might have overpaid them; but like many said, we didn't/don't know if this was a 'one time only' Promo Box event; and I really wanted a T6 Connie being a TOS fan who loves the series and watched it first run on NBC in 1969 during the 3rd season - I was 6) - and was honestly surprised it rarely showed up on the Exchange (there were a few at the start but they were bought instantly - and even MORE surprised when overall 880 Mil EC was considered a REALLY good deal.
But yeah, it's possible with the situation regarding CBS' stand on having a T6 Connie in game at all for YEARS (read: They said: "No!") - it may be they'll never run this type of T6 Connie Promo Box again, or may wait a year or more before doing so again.

Sorry but as fun as they are the Klingons and Romulans are Monster races in the IP.
The only reason Cryptic allows them to be playable as such is for more money.
All the Star Trek movies and TV shows are basically about a Federation crew and obviously Cryptic's metrics show that more people buy Federation stuff because they keep pumping it out.
Just be grateful for what we get instead of alienating Cryptic with demands for faction equality when the factions don't earn equally.
Wow, grats! Reading this, gives me hope that I'll eventually get one.
Have faith. I believe you will eventually get one.
I paid a hefty price for mine. But AoY was essentially me making good on my threat from way back when "Shut up and take my money" ... Cryptic made an entire expansion for my particular niche and personal taste, and then offered the two ships I've always wanted (end-game Daedalus, end-game TOS styled Constitution).
Now, with K-13, I pretty much live in the 23rd Century. I'm doing my best to help my fleet kit out the K-13 holding, so I can also get a full set of everything I want to complete my 23rd century obsession.
This is pretty much STO for me.
So it's been worth it, in terms of in-game enjoyment and game play.

I agree Snoggy.
Only sad I don't have enough to get a TOS D7 as well for my TOS Klingon character. Ah well, at least there is the Fleet D7 to play end game stuff for him
Kelvin Box rotating into Infinity: Maybe yes maybe no. There's a reason they wrote the original Infinity Box announcement to allow themselves an out, that not every box would automatically become part of the buffet. As a big ol' wad of stuff neither Cryptic nor CBS owns, the Kelvin Box is a damn fine candidate for getting passed over. But no matter how exciting it seems to speculate wildly and scream about chunks of blue stuff plummeting down, we'll KNOW the outcome of that inquiry very, very soon. "Shut up and sit in suspense" is really a valid option. Try it. For like a month. That's all it'll take.
TOS Promo! boxes: BE. VERY. CLEAR. The point of promo boxes is they are an avenue for releasing high-end product through a faucet that can be opened and closed at any time. There are a dozen ways they could have released a TOS endgame Connie that would have been one-and-done. They picked a method that can recur BECAUSE it can recur. This is not black magic. Its not stirring around in the guts of a chicken to prophesize the future. Do not let people who are holding them for later (and that includes me) fear monger you in paying a premium because "oooo, never again, never again...". While they want to make money, I promise Cryptic wants to make money more, and just like every other Promo! ship ever, it will come 'round again.
Most people go the t'liss from the choice pack anyway, since connie is the weakest of the 3 lol
What?
I've got the T'liss. I've never seen another in game. EVER.
It's a nice jack-of-all-trades ship, but the Romulans have far more specialized ships that do specific roles better. Malem is a better torp boat, and the Laeosa is better at science.
If you think the T'liss is the popular one, you must have missed all the other threads like this one wanting the TOS Connie.
I'm fairly content with my other 23rd Century ships like the Ranger, but I won't pretent I wasn't royally p**sed off the way Cryptic handled the whole thing. Yeah, fair enough it was the milk cow to end all milk cows, but honestly, the notion that "Cryptic would never be able to sell other ships again because we'd all be flying Constitutions" is nonsense. People have different tastes, some love TOS, others hate it because they grew up watching a "different" Trek to them. Personally, I grew up watching TNG initially so the Galaxy class has a special place in my memories and I didn't start watching or appreciate TOS for what it is until I started University. People will always be up for new and shiney ships, especially those who play on multiple toons.
On this occasion however, greed won out and everyone who had patiently waited for years and years got left out in the cold. I would have probably tried to get one myself, however I couldn't justify spending any more money on STO for a while after the Kelvin box... the only time I ever really "went all out" to get the ships and gear from the boxes. I'm very happy with my Kelvin timeline Constitution and Dreadnought however in many ways I only went all out like that because by that point I had almost given up hope of seeing a tier VI TOS Constitution. I think it's the lottery element that put many of us off, and the fact that supplies were next to non-existant for those who wanted to get one of the ships purely with EC and not pray to RNGesus with the R&D packs.
Honestly, I think I would happily have paid the price for a 9 ship mega bundle as they call it (like they did for the Dyson Science Destroyers) for the three ships and would have been over the moon. Instead I got what felt like a kick in the nuts for my patience over the years. It's not that I felt self entitled and that "YOU OWE ME THIS CRYPTIC!" but as a customer, a loyal one who's stuck with the game even when things were really pretty TRIBBLE (remember the content drought before F2P came long) and as a life long Trek fan I just was hoping for something a little better.
To the OP, I wish you the best of luck... these ships are like literal gold dust. Should you get one, enjoy it!

Thanks for the motivation and congrats on getting your Connie! I'm right there with you about AoY, this is all I have ever dreamed for in STO. Well TOS gameplay and maybe a Bridge Commander style flight sim ... lol. I remember making suggestions about getting the Daedalus a few years back, I was totally shocked that we have it now!
I'm happy to hear that others are getting as much enjoyment out of AoY, that I am! I'm saving up for that K-13 stuff right now, I have a long ways to go ... but it will be totally worth it.
Now things to add to my dream checklist.
1. TOS Veteran Ships.
2. A way back to the 23c map, with STFs, tours, missions and new locations to visit.
3. Romulan and Klingon AoY expansion. (We already have outfits, weapons and ships!)
4. Cross faction 23c BOffs
5. 23c Rep for new toys and outfits.
6. New ground map to show off your BOffs, like you can on Nimbus III. Something with TOS 23c esthetics and sounds.
7. Horta BOff! (LOL!)

A TNG anniversary should probably have something to do with the Enterprise-D? That ship is pretty well represented in STO already.
