sadly, yes. They really should think to hire a more strong stuff, and bring someone to keep us updated hire on the forum...
We have at lease one Developer answering: They are looking into the Specialist Trophy glitch. So I assume they will be looking at some more issues as well.
Based on that response though - we may still be a long way out for any fixes... which means we could still be a long way out from any update (like the one that was supposed to happen yesterday)
Plenty of items that are bugged too. (dunno if that has been mentioned here already) but set items seem heavily affected that are gained via reputation. Most of the set items that are acquired through episodes are fine (but not all see list).
Jem'Hadar Space Set (Jem'Hadar Resilient Shields, Combat Impulse Engines, Deflector Dish) are NOT upgradeable due to no upgrade item recognized to be able to do this.
Dyson Protonic Arsenal (Gravimetric Photon Torpedo Launcher, Experimental Proton Weapon, Console - Universal - Proton Particle Stabilizer) are NOT upgradeable either due to same reason.
Dyson Joint Command Technologies (Dyson Regenerative Shield Array, Combat Engines, Field Stabilizing Warp Core/Singularity Core and Deflector Array) are NOT upgradeable either due to same reason
Counter Command Ordnance (I only have the Console - Universal - Hydronamics Compensator but I'm pretty sure the Heavy Bio-Molecular Phaser and Disruptor Turrets, Console Tactical - Counter-Command Multi-Conduit, Enhanced Bio-Molecular Photon Torpedo Launcher will have this issue too) is NOT upgradeable due to same reason.
Romulan Singularity Harness (I only have the Console - Zero-Point Energy Conduit but I'm pretty sure the Experimental Romulan Plasma Beam Array, Romulan Hyper-Plasma Torpedo Launcher will have this issue too) is NOT upgradeable due to same reason.
Ancient Obelisk Technology (Ancient Omni-Directional Beam Array, Obelisk Subspace Rift Warp Core, Console - Universal - Reactive Antiproton Cascade Emitter) are NOT upgradeable due to same reason.
Fluidic Counter Assault ( Counter-Command Covariant Shield Array, Hyper Impulse Engines, Hyper Injection Warp Core/Singularity Core and Deflector Array) are NOT upgradeable due to same reason.

Patches for consoles are on Thursdays. That is tomorrow. If they miss that, you know people who make calendar are out of touch with people who port game elements between versions.

We have only seen this once (I believe), and that was on the big "fix" about a month ago... however, I hope you are right. The issues are the following:
It was later mentioned that Admiralty would come with update 1.2 (or 1.12, whatever) - November 15 is stil lthe only date mentioned in an official announcement. This is/was to include crafting, Fleet Holdings, DOFFs, etc.
Someone, I believe CrypticSpartan, said on the nature of fixes that they would come with the update - this was due to the MS/Sony certification requirements (makes sense)
Because a date was given - the excuse (given by people not related to Cryptic) that it is being held up by certification is invalid - I mean, why give us a date 3 weeks ago and it not be ready already.. along with putting in a R&D weekend for this weekend, beginning Thursday at 12pm Eastern.
With all of this, there were several social media and official post bungles yesterday between PC and Console information, with no further explanation to console player a) why we did not have our normally scheduled maintenance and b) why do we not have Admiralty has promised. This has only led to more speculation - i.e. maintenance must have been switched with PC's day (theirs is normally on Thursday), etc. This speculation, while possibly being true, is what inflamed this problem in the first place... meaning, beyond the obvious lie of the 15th of November, console players are left to speculate based on misinformation, in game calendar and precedent - of which is slim at best.
Again, you may be right, it may be tomorrow, but am I crazy enough to bank on it? Nope, nor would Billy Joel be is he was a STO fan... which I highly doubt. All any of us need is one simple message saying a+b=c from Cryptic. The message may not make us happy, but at least we will know - the speculation will end, and we (who may be fleet leaders) can have something to pass on to our fleet members. The sad thing is, all it would take is a tweet, a Facebook post, a forum message, anything - and it doesn't have to be long and detailed, but simple: "We apologize for missing the November 15th window for the update, we are working hard on getting it released as soon as possible. We will let you know when to expect it." If they have a date, even better, they can put that in there instead.
It amazes me how people can get bent out of shape about people getting bent out of shape for not having any communication from a company that they support with their micro-transactions - its not like we are upset with the people working on the game, the angst is against those who refuse to communicate with us, for whatever reason. Remember, there has been hardly any communication from anyone at Cryptic concerning the bugs or the update - and none whatsoever from the console side itself. Yet, we continue to get announcements of what we are still missing, and a new lock box that will require most people to spend real money to have full access to.

Trophy ? Who care about trophies if the game is not playable ?
They should revise their priorities...

I agree, and I am not counting on it being tomorrow. Actually I fear the patch will make all the bugs worse. There must be something seriously wrong with the whole company the way things are going.

Another worry I had about this update is retroactive effects for main characters not triggering. I tried speaking with some people at Arc about Duty Officers. I am sure most of us have unlocked at least one Duty Officer through story missions/episodes, for instance, Rai or Law.
As it stands, when you complete the criteria to unlock these Doff characters, the game notifies you that they've been added to your inventory. Of course, they're not there, as Duty Officers have not yet been implemented.
The concern that I held is that after the Duty Officer functionality is added, the game will not retroactively reward players that have progressed through story missions with the Duty Officers they should have acquired, nor would they receive the Duty Officers they have acquired through other means.
When I spoke to Arc's "support" about this, they waved it off in a nonchalant, yet, non-reassuring manner. They said that they reserve their support tickets to discuss and troubleshoot gameplay bugs with players (I know, that's a bold-faced lie if we ever saw one, right?) All I wanted was a little closure or reassurance on the matter. After all, it is technically a bug, as these characters the game tells me I have unlocked can be considered missing items.
Their focus is on the trophies in order to appease Sony's guidelines, but when it comes to our bugs they don't notify us or let us know that our major gameplay issues are being worked on. I can't spend specialization points, unlock reputation traits, change costumes, and so much more. Sometimes, it makes me want to stop playing altogether, and delete the game.
Seemingly in spite of our cries for help, we're left sitting in the proverbial dark, not receiving any sort of answers, aside from occasional snide commentary, outright lies on our tickets, or overt laziness in which they essentially urge us to "go cry on the support forums. It's not our problem. qq emo kid #DealWithIt"
In the end, I am curious to see if they even fix any of these major bugs with the update. I'll stay hopeful, but with healthy skepticism.

Cryptic Spartan indicates that you will have to replay the missions to get the Duty Officers - which makes sense due to PC having to do the same thing years ago when DOFFs went live a few years back

The big ones - turn rate (verified), tailor (verified), Romulan skill/specialization points (verified), KDF level 20 promotion (mentioned on reddit, unverified), camera distance (verfied) - are mentioned, either in the notes or the reddit post's comments.

May be other unlisted fixes
no mention of rom skill problem's. or kdf promotion
rom skill problem fixed.

I sure hope at least some of the bugs get fixed, then again whomever posted that did call this game "Champions Online" lol
there is that... haha
